Introduction

Hello everyone, welcome to my first report as your new Battleteam Leader! Things have been relatively quiet within the Battleteam itself due to the various Clan wide events, as well the extensive shuffles within the Summit at large. As all of you no doubt know, Larrik Dul’vak (aka Ninj/Zakath) has been appointed as our new Aedile, replacing Wuntila Arconae and I have stepped up to fill his - very large - shoes! Taking my own place will be my apprentice, Xenna Azara! However, despite all these major changes we haven’t forgotten you all and we are currently cooking up a lot of fun events for you guys! Stay tuned for some imminent updates and our new fictional directive!

This past month has seen some incredible events as well as some major changes to our Clan. I’d like to congratulate our Consul on getting her promotion to Equite 4!!! Congratulations and thank you for all that you do for us!!! To K’tana on stepping up to the Aedile position for our sister house, and to Zujenia for taking Kat’s place as the new Gatewardeness! In addition, a very big and special congratulations are on hand for three very special people in Galeres. Braecen, Rulvak and Valhavoc!!! They've each acquired an impressive award this month, and this is no small feat to achieve. Congratulations to Braecen on achieving an Amethyst Kukri!!! Congratulations to Rulvak on your very first Sapphire Blade!!! And lastly (but by no means the least, congratulations to Valhavoc on acheiving a Grand Cross!!! Back for less then a month and you're already putting us all to shame!!! If there's anyone who I would look upto as a mentor and rolemodel - it's those three, so you can do worse then learn from them!

Sins of the Past:

Furthermore, Sins of the Past - Attack of the Clone! has just finished! Congratulations to all the winners, as well as everyone who participated in the massive event! After this incredible event, our trusty Summit have released a survey form. I cannot stress how important and essential it is for all of you to submit your thoughts and impressions of the event - without your feedback, we will never know what to improve, what to keep, what you particularly liked and so forth...

So if you want to see an even more incredible Sins Chapter III, fill out the survey and let us know your thoughts!

(Seriously, this isn't a joke - go fill out the damn survey or else!!!)

Loyalty and Fidelity:

Following the event now known to us as the "Purge" - whereupon Darth Pravus ordered the complete annihilation of anyone in Brotherhood space deemed hereforth as "Undesireble" - in addition to the destruction of the Jedi stronghold on the planet New Tython in a conflagration of unseen-before brutality, Arcona has started to fracture and splinter into many different factions. The once unshakable loyalty of the First Clan to it's mistress was shattered, and as shadows from the past seemed to materialize unchallenged different factions started to emerge in the darkness...

As you can see from the list below, we have a fairly diverse group here in our Battleteam, and this will no doubt affect the Battleteam in it's future adventures! Following in Zakath's footsteps, the Operatives so far have the greatest influence upon the team - but how will the team fare when it's leader is in direct opposition to it's own Clan???

Greetings all, and thank you all to those who made it all the way here ;)
I'd like to close this report with a few thoughts and ideas that I wanted to share.

Sometimes it seems that no matter what you do, you just never seem to get those awards. You never seem to get those promotions and you just always seem to get overlooked - especially since there’s that special person or two who seem to rocket to the stars and leave everyone behind in the dust. I just want to say that I believe that each of you can be that person - being “good” or being “star material” is simply something that each of you can do if you just put in the effort. That’s all there is to say. The more you do, the more time you put into this Club - the higher you will rise. It’s that simple truth. There’s no special magic involved, there’s no special talent involved - it’s just the simple fact of participation and effort. The more you write - the better you will get. The more you draw, the better you will get, the more you game, the better you get.

So if you want to do more, if you want to be more! Believe in yourself, I hereby give you this license to DO ALL THE THINGS!!!
