Consul of Clan Taldryan Report 4: A New Year, A New Taldryan.
Hello Taldryan,
Happy New Year All!
2016 is now officially over, and it was a year I think we all can be happy to be over. This year we have a lot to be excited for; an upcoming GJW, Star Wars Episode 8, and what I hope to be a real turning point for Clan Taldryan.
We have lost a few of our members, but we have gained some strong new allies, and even had a few return. It’s time to build a solid foundation of success, and keep our heads held high as 2017 opens its doors to our future.
Clan News:
Breaking Point is now officially over, and with it begins a new Story for Taldryan. We are at our most vulnerable, and also our most dangerous. Pravus has tried to destroy our Clan, our morale, and our rebellious nature. He has only succeeded in making us mad. With Karufr behind us, and our Fleet in need of some tender love and care, we will regroup. But this doesn’t mean that the attack will slide. Retaliation is imminent.

Welcome Back to Clan Taldryan! I know that the three of you will prove to be exceptional members for all to follow.
We have a lot of intriguing things coming to our Clan, including House Specific Fiction Storylines being helmed by Rian and Raiju for their respective Houses. These guys, along with their Aediles, have put in a lot of work to make these stories interesting and distinct from each other, so when the unveiling comes, make sure you support whatever House you choose to follow.
Taldryan’s Wiki collection needs a good overhaul. I am looking to put together a team on Tal members to work on this. I already have Anubis willing to do some work. Please message me over email, or on Telegram if interested.
In order to lower the barriers between the Clans a bit, my summit and I have been in discussion on this topic for a while. We have made the decision to open up our Clans chat the public on an experimental basis. Message me on Telegram if you want in on the Taldryan Clan Chat. There are rules that will be enforced by the summit, but it will be done fairly to all. You can find these rules here.
Final tid bit of news here. Another event is currently in the works. So get ready for some proactive summiting coming soon!

Possessions is fully LIVE! And I Love It. Get out there and spend all of your hard earned credits...or be stingy...that works to. Looking at the work Evant and everyone else who worked on this did, it really is amazing.
Wally has released a VOICE report, and the man created a Fiction Archive for all the clans to store PDF’s of their Clan Fiction in. Find the Archives here. You can find Wally’s report HERE.
Jac...oh Jac why!!!!...has released the newest version of the Covenant! This reworked version has taken a long time to be finished, and rightfully so. Go read the New Covenant and appreciate the work our Justicar has done for us.
The Fist, Drac, has released his report, and unveiled the GMRG 4th Quarter Results. Sadly no one from Taldryan has made the list...Let’s change that this year. Whoever succeeds in getting in that list with earn one high five from yours truly!. Do it!

I’ve recieved several interesting questions, and I feel it’s time to actually answer them, so here we go.
Atra asks: Do you have plans to counteract the insular stigma that has followed Taldryan in recent times?
Yes, I do. I believe this to be a detriment to the Clan and may be one of the reasons TAL declined from its once formidable status.
Wally asks: With your new summit taking members from other units and of varying experiences, what do you think is the key to getting them to work together as a team under your direction?
Luckily, the summit i have assembled needed little help to work as a cohesive unit. I listen to all the experience they have to offer and build upon the foundations that have been left to me by my predecessors. I am truly honored to have the great and hard working summit that I have. Thank you Alaris, Vodo, Rian, Thorn, Raiju, and Andrelious for you endless support and unwavering loyalty.
Atra asks: How do you intend on making even your lowest rank member feel invested in, or as a part, of your fictional growth?
I plan on integrating members into fiction based, not on placements, but based on participation. I want to encourage all members to at least try, and see that they can help us build a stronger unit both fictionally and IRL.
Turel asks: Given Tal is the only unit with all three paths, what are your plans to ensure every member is part of the larger narrative regardless of dark, light, or gray?
One of the founding aspects of Taldryan was a brotherhood that respected the members regardless of what side of the Force they may have been on. Keeping the story based in a strong sense of family and unity keeps the opposing Paths in order. But it also makes for an interesting prospect of Clan in fighting in some storylines which breeds drama. Drama breeds intrigue. This gives me a lot to work with in regards to fiction.
Zujenia asks: What is one question Rhylance will not ask himself?
Rhylance will never ask himself, “What would Raina think about my actions?” Being the only thing keeping him grounded, the loss of his fiance was Rhylances “Breaking Point”. He keeps her from his mind in certain ways, this being one of them.
Blade Ta’var asks: Is the Taldryan Empire safe from Zeltron pheromones?
**Remembers losing against strong Zeltron pheromones** No one….no one is safe from those accursed things!
Uji asks: What’s been your favorite moment as Consul so far?
Truthfully this is a question I really can’t answer. I haven’t had a favorite moment as Consul. Being Consul has been my favorite moment of my DJB career. I truly hope that the actions I am taking prove to help push this Clan forward, and I am having such a wonderful time working towards this goal.
Tisto asks: Who does Rhylance think is abusing the Force more, The Inquisitors, or The Lotus?
They are equal offenders in his mind, but only the INQ have attacked his clan, therefore, for now, he can look past The Lotus’s transgressions.
Mark asks: How will Tal’s “Brotherhood within a Brotherhood” fit into the new Pravus v Resistance thing?
Well...Taldryan will be looking after its own interests, but as they currently line up with other clans, those barriers will need to be lowered. For the time being.
