Introductions

Well, as our kind panda has already announced, I am the new Proconsul for Taldryan. If you don't know who I am... I'm hurt.

However, for the sake of making this look good, I am Kenath Zoron. I've been part of Taldryan since my return from the Rogues just over two years ago. I've been the Ektrosis Aedile and Quastor in the past, as well as a Battleteam Sergeant and Battleteam Leader many years ago (pre-Exodus). In addition to the Proconsul role, I also am a Magistrate to the Grand Master and an Appeals Panelist for the Chamber of Justice.

Since Howie only just vacated the PCON office, I'll have to spend a few days bush-whacking my way in through the bamboo and other panda-oriented amenities that were left behind. Once my office resembles an actual work-space again, I'll be able to get sorted out with the House summits what plans are in place already and what plans need to get put together. I've already had a few members get in touch with ideas, so I'll be working on those in short order with those members.

News

• The Herald has a pile of goodies for you to peruse. There is also a 3-event competition that will end on May 15th that is associated to the May the 4th celebrations. Take a peak and try one or two of the competitions (or all three if you want to impress someone!).

• The PvO CF daily cap is now in effect as per the Fist's most recent update. The cap will be 50/day for SW games and 30/day for non-SW games.

  The GM's Gaming Tournament has also started, with Taldryan's reps being Yacks and Andrelious. I believe Yacks has already played his (losing to Ernor in Pazaak), while Mark is still getting his organized. Good luck to Mark - you're our only hope!

• The Voice office has a pair of competitions for you to take a crack at - creating a character sheet for the greatest pilot in the galaxy (Poe Dameron, not Wedge) and writing a story related to some missing Jedi for the Inquisitorius.

• May the 4th Seals of Loyalty were awarded, with Yacks, Nero, and myself all earning one! Yay!

• A new Headmaster has been selected, with Farrin Xies being the one for the job. Congrats!

• Wally announced a few new venues for our ACCers. He also gave a mini-tutorial on how to write up new venues - worth a reading if you are participating in the May the 4th venue competition.

Competitions

I'm a bit of a stats nerd (Frotsu and Jor Dahn have seen me at work and have seen some of the Excel sheets I've created - they can vouch for how big a nerd I am), so I love looking at how we're stacking up against other clans and houses. I'd love to see our numbers start increasing in the participation department across the board, so take a look through here and get screenshotting/gaming/writing/stick-man-drawing!

Besides Mark in the GM's Gaming Tournament, we also have Aiden Lee Deshra (#teambestaiden) in the ACC Journeyman's Tournament. Check out his most recent battle as I'm certain he'll be moving on!

Closing Words

I'm excited to be back in the saddle and working with all the summit members going forward. Our role here is to make sure that the membership enjoy themselves, so don't hesitate to reach out to us to ask for a specific type of competition or activity. I'm happy to organize whatever you find fun and am also happy to help if you are interested in organizing something yourself.

In terms of email turn around, I will try to be quick in response, but with a caveat that I do work shift work. Generally that means that one, maybe two, days out of every eight I'll have minimal contact with the outside world, so just be patient and I'll be back to you right away. If it's urgent, send me a message on Telegram (@kzoron) and I'll be able to answer more easily there.

Speaking of Telegram, if you don't have it, I highly encourage it. Even if you mute the notifications, it's worth having to keep some form of real-time communication with the rest of the clan and to socialize.
