I’m your new Proconsul, you can call me Howie. I will be assisting Yacks in running the clan, and hopefully, throwing myself on the grenades that the Consul throws (yes, I shamelessly stole this from Halc). So expect to see me putting out some competitions in the next few days, to complement those that are already ongoing – including Gorefest (which I will get to a little bit later)! Additionally, I will be keeping on the Rollmastering for the time being, so masters and students in Taldryan? You’re not finished with me yet!
Most if not all of you know me, I pester people to do all the things (and if you think it was bad when I was the rollmaster for just the journeymen? You better believe it’s going to be worse now!), I yell, and I am pretty in favour of all things bears.
I fully intend to continue Halc’s ways as Proconsul – he was always a big fan of telling people that his proverbial office door was always open – and I intend to do the same. So if you need me? Come and find me. Or find Yacks…but I’m pretty sure I am nicer than he is.
As previously mentioned by our illustrious (I guess?) Consul, it has been decided to make House Dinaari our clan’s gaming house – and we want to do a damn fine job of the whole business, so we are in the market for a new Quaestor! We have already received a number of excellent applications, and we hope to get a few before Sunday, May 24th! So if you’re interested, and you have some awesome ideas? Drop Yacks and myself a line!
Speaking of gaming, Gorefest is this weekend. Well, technically, it’s on right now – until Sunday night at 11:59pm GMT (or round about 7:59pm eastern time). What does that mean to you? It means double Clusters of Fire for PVP and PVE gaming, and it means a chance at winning first level crescents if you participate in the PVP gaming tournament!
There’s a catch, though. You have to be a member of the Grand Master’s Royal Guard – so for those of you that aren’t members? Go take a gander at the GMRG History course at the Shadow Academy – and join!
