Good evening Taldryanites! Lots of news from across Taldryan and the Brotherhood this week, and some reminders too!

Before moving into the meat and potatoes, I would also like to welcome Krath Epis Saskia Ortega-Inahj to Clan Taldryan! She’s joined us from Clan Arcona, and will be serving in House Ektrosis under Quaestor Raistypoo and Aedile Bobecc Varga! For those of you that haven’t had a chance to introduce yourselves or say hello, please do so!

Masters of our Fate

Taldryan’s Master of the Fate is running right now, and its first phase is ending in just a few short days. The competitions that are ending on Sunday, August 9 at 11:59pm GMT. Three of the four competitions offer some unique opportunities for the winners – not only do they get crescents, an ego boost, and hugs from the Consul (yes, I checked!), you also get to be a part of Taldryan’s future – and its canon. So my suggestion to you? Do all the things!

The details on these competitions are as follows:

• A Place to Call Home – Your task is to write a report on a major city on Taldryan's home planet of Karufr

• My Nation is my Pride – Your job in this competition is to develop and report on one of Karufr’s outlying continents!

• Friend or Fauna – This competition asks you to design and report on a species of animal (or other creature) on lives on Karufr (bonus point for bear or bear like creatures?)

• Return to Action – This fiction competition wants you to describe the state of the clan in the five months since the end of the Great Jedi War

The gaming competition – the Gatekeeper trials – continues on until August 31!

Finally, Yacks and I will be working on the next phase of Masters of the Fate in the next day or two, so be ready for another set of competitions!

Path Changes

As Yacko mentioned in his consul report last week, the Brotherhood is going through changes – and one of those is going to be a system that involves gray Jedi, as well as light and dark. Our clan’s proposal for path changes was just sent in, and we will be providing details and updates as we get them! For reference, see the image below:

Brotherhood News

• Lots of Brotherhood wide news in the past week or so! Obviously – the biggest and most obvious news? New Brotherhood website layouts! Thanks to the hard and very fast work of our new Herald and our not so new Codemonkey, the Brotherhood has a number of new website layouts. Check out James’ news post for more details, but the long and short of it? Go into your administration menu and play around!

• Evant posted a new Voice report where he discusses the upcoming Fiction Society, and his new staff (and their priorities).

• Valhavoc posted a new Fist report – Where he discusses Star Wars Battlefront, the new Fist Bot in #dbgaming, and some Cluster rebalancing issues. If you have comments, please pass them up onto the Fist!
