Good evening Taldryanites! It's been a pretty big day for the Brotherhood and for Taldryan, we have a fully functional gray path, some brand new orders, and a whole butt load of new ranks to better fit the way the Brotherhood is going to be in the future. One of the caveats to these path changes? Obelisk and Krath are no longer orders within our club.
What does that mean for the Taldryan? Well, as of right now, our members can be members of the Dark, Gray, or Light side path. Moreover, Taldryan will be receiving new joins from those three paths. It’s a pretty great time! As for me, I haven’t decided what I’m going to do. Former Proconsul Halc has decided to go grey, and we’ve already had discussions on the mailing list about it – so please, join us on that!
For more and specific detail, I strongly encourage you to read both the Grand Master’s Report and the Deputy Grand Master’s Report. They flesh out all of the detail, and given their importance to the Brotherhood’s future, you really need to read both!
I’d also like to offer a warm and Howielike welcome to our newest member, Aiden Lee! He joined us just this morning as our first Light Path member, and I do believe as the Brotherhood’s very first member of the Order of the Gray Jedi! He’s already been promoted to Novice and has completed a bunch of Shadow Academy courses! He’s been assigned to House Ektrosis under Quaestor Raist and Aedile Bobecc, and I look forward to seeing what he can do in the coming weeks and months!
Finally, I’d like to offer my congratulations to Warrior Sean Desmond (aka: Nero) on his appointed as Dinaari’s newest Aedile, and I look forward to seeing Little Nero and Omega work together!
On a personal note, I will be on vacation starting at the end of next week (end of day, August 27th) – I’ll have periodic/decent access to IRC/email/all other things, but I expect to be much busier. I have friends and family to see and meals to eat. Then a state fair to go to. Also, beer to drink. I think in my absence, I am going to leave Halc in charge. Good plan? Now, more news!
The second round of Master of the Fate is on right now, and it will continue until the end of the month. Given the announcements of all the changes to the Brotherhood Path system(s) and how they relate to Taldryan’s future, I hope every takes part in these competitions!
