Greetings folks,
So, I've come down with some sorta malady today, so this week's report is going to be short and to the point. Weee.
The big news that's been running around in the DB lately has been the return of the Dark Crusades, in the mini-event entitled Fading Light. This is going to be a collection of 3 short events that take place during the fictional mopping up of the One Sith occupied worlds in the Stygian Caldera.
This time around, it's a runon event. For more details on coming events see the DGM's report that is linked below. Taldryan came together and managed to get four teams worth of participants together, and I'm very much looking forward to seeing what every team manages to get up to on their little jaunt on Bosthirda.
Good luck everyone, I know you'll all do Taldryan proud.
In the realms of gaming news, Diablo has been taking the DB's gaming circles by storm of late, being nearly all anyone is talking about. For those of you unaware, it's a game by Blizzard that is reportedly both fun, and extremely easy to play. It also awards a bunch of CFs and PoBs to members of the DB who take part in this event.
The Fist has recently reported the opening of in game Clans for both American and European servers. These are great ways to keep in touch with other D3 gamers, and to keep moving up in the ranks.
Additionally, some other changes may be on the way with how D3 is actually rewarded so you might want to take a gander at the most recent Fist report.
So, while there are lots of comps going on throughout the Brotherhood, I'd like to call attention to a few of our more home-grown competitions. Nearest and dearest to my heart is the Taldryan Expansion Force Commissioning Ceremony. This is a series of competitions that allow members of Taldryan to take a stake in naming parts of our Armed Forces. This is a great opportunity to put your mark on pieces of Taldryan's fictional landscape.
Next up is the Taldryan Gate Keeper Trials which is a fictional position created within Taldryan, to celebrate our deadliest warriors. This competition will be a recurring competition every month, and will hopefully be featured in the theoretical fictional landscape of Taldryan's near future.
Finally, we have two competitions from the Houses, one from Dinaari's Leadership, and one from one of our Journeymen. Kaz and Mav are seeking some extra sexy graphics for their reports, and Kenath Zoron is hosting a March Madness competition for the whole Brotherhood to take part in.
Oh, there's also a new RTFR.
We've got a few doozies for you to get through this week.
First up, from within the Clan...
And from the DC...
So, I'm sure that's enough to be getting on with. I'm also about ready to curl up into a ball and cry like the super manly man I am, because real men aren't afraid to cry and that's what my mommy told me. So shut up. Also, keep kicking ass Tal!
