Fiction Update

Her left fist rested upon the side of her face, and her left leg was resting on top of her right. It was the typical daily routine at this point. The morning sun had just begun to rise over the horizon, draping itself across the red and gold carpeting of her chambers, when a chime echoed throughout. He was here already, was he? At least that sorry excuse for a sack of Hutt-slime was punctual. It had to be one of his few redeeming qualities in an ever decreasing list.

Her attention was broken and she promptly swiped her hand, sending the holoscreen off to the side and turning it off. Sure enough, when the door opened, her senses hadn't lied to her. Anderson entered the room as expected with his BD-Unit droid perched on his shoulder. He wore the Elite Taldryanite Battle Armor with a confidence that oozed into arrogance like a river connecting to an ocean.

Pecan Report 1

Technically, this is actually my third report as Taldryan Proconsul, but who's really keeping track of that?

It's been a while since I've written one of these. It feels nostalgic, in a good way. I'd like to take the chance to thank Cass (Teebu) for giving me a chance in the summit once again. Given everything that's happened in my personal life this year, it's good to get back in the saddle and have something to focus on within Club and Clan.

But that's enough prattling, let's get on with stuff and things!

Old Faces in Old Places

We have a couple of members who have either joined the Clan or have returned.

OSI: Republic Conduct

The OSI: Republic Conduct has concluded and has been judged!

Congratulations to Zentru'la on 1st place, Aylin on 2nd place and Meleu on 3rd!

I'd like to take a moment to highlight both Zentru'la's and Meleu's fictions. If you have a chance to read them, go and do it. They are really good.

Taldryithmas

Cassandra (Teebu) and I are running a series of competitions set in our very own home of Port Kasiya!

The Taldryithmas competitions are running until the 31st of December!

There are two RP's running alongside the event and both start tomorrow on the 11th.

[Taldryithmas] Port Kasiya Blizzard:- A DJB free-form Wide RP with objectives focusing on a sudden snow storm striking Port Kasiya and the rescue efforts that follow.

[Taldryithmas] Rescue the Vice Chancellor:- A Taldryan specific, turn-based RP where a team of up to six members go rescue Anders after getting lost in the blizzard somewhere on Kasiya. At the time of writing, there is still one slot available!

• Aylin Asks: Should Circe become Alaisy's student? (Dunno if she would want that XD)

That depends on how corrupted you want Circe to be. XD

Alaisy answered: I mean, I hope Circe knows what is required of her. Alaisy is always open to those willing to prove themselves, she enjoys trials thoroughly.

• Koda Asks: How does it feel to be back on the Summit?

Strange, but in a good way. When I stepped down, I did it because I needed to, not because I wanted to, you know? I planned on staying in the position for longer. I have unfinished business on the summit.

• Alaisy Asks: What are the most important locations in the Clan's jurisdiction to visit? For tourism, for general knowledge of what's important etc. Say I asked for a quick tour basically.

The Taldryan Tower is the central hub for everything on Kasiya and is like, the centre point of the city. Outside of that, there's the Playground run by Jorm, a seedy bar that serves also as the Chyron embassy. There's also the colosseum in the Eastbrook district. Then you have the two temples of the Force, one belonging to the Jedi on Drakar's Peak, the other to the Sith.

On Elysia, you have the city of Aidos, which sits above the ruins of a once forgotten Jedi temple. Then you have Fort Malgrim, the home of Elysia Governor Koda. There's also the Elysian observatory which housed items supposedly held by Palpatine before being reclaimed.

Chyron is basically Coruscant, but smaller. It's currently undergoing a "green" initiative under Jorm's Chancellorship. He can explain more.

Then there's the gas giant Perune which houses the floating city of Droset. Think if Las Vegas was a floating city like Bespin. That's what you get.

There's also Caleria, one of the capital cities of the Traditionalists (Taldryan-purist faction) on the eastern side of Kasiya's continent.

Oh, the Taldryan Tower also has floor 42 run by Dasha and Aylin. It's basically their workshop for creating their mad glitter experiments. -.-
