Ladies and gentlemen, welcome to Tyrant Sword's report for the month of November. This time we'll be covering some stuff that's come up during the month of October, as well as addressing some talking points that I'm sure some people are rather curious about. No fiction this month as Rhi and I are sort of rushing this out last-minute and I've spent the last four days writing essentially nonstop for some other projects I'm working on. Sorry, boys and girls. Next month. Promise.

On Deck - Battleteam News

As you guys are (hopefully) aware, I've not had internet for the better part of a month. However, that issue is resolved, and I am currently off work for two weeks, so things should be returning to normal this month once I settle some other things down. This still means there are currently no competitions; this is an issue I intend to fix early next week as I will be incommunicado for the rest of the week. Won't lie though - looks like I've missed some neat stuff, which is cool. Always good to see new things around here.

So: competitions next week, back to a fully-functional schedule by the start of December. Good times are had by all.

One thing I'd like to address here is the general non-responsiveness to emails. One thing Rhiann and I rely on is you guys responding to the emails we send out just so we know where we're at, what we're doing well/incorrectly and to make sure you guys are still thriving and kicking. It's been a slow month, I totally agree - I know some of us are at school and whatnot. I haven't even been here and I totally get that. This month I'd like to focus our efforts on rebuilding the team's cohesiveness and make sure that coming into the end of the year we're on the right track for whatever great things the club throws our way next. Yarr? Yarr. Awesome.

Through The Spyglass - The Brotherhood

News feels a bit sparse this month, but that’s okay! News is sure to pick up through November and December as we get closer to the movie’s release.

• The Shadow Academy has added a new course to the Novitiate Hall! The new course on Telegram is simple and helps you with how the program works. Already have Telegram? Do the course anyway because you may end up learning something new.
• As you know, the Battlefront Beta has happened. Yep. Did you know that the PC will be the DJB’s official platform for the game upon launch? Eeyup it sure will. PC users will be getting extra Clusters-- for how long? Who knows.
• Pendants of Blood through ToR and Destiny have changed. They’re now gotten in a way that reflects how they’re obtained through Diablo 3. You can only get 6 maximum from each platform now! Excluding “Club Firsts” competitions. Read more here!
• Interested in ToR raiding? The new magistrate running the ToR related things for the Fist has put out a report regarding it! Take a look. He seems very helpful!
• Need an avatar? Have ToR? You’re in luck! Avatars can now be made using The Old Republic. It’s a simple way to do it if you can’t afford an artist or can’t draw your own.
• Just some reminders from the Herald about the new stuff! And some Possessions teasers. Ooh.
• Special Halloween releases from the Herald! The Herald sure loves spoiling us.

• The official poster for the new Star Wars movie came out. Fancy.
• Have you seen the third theatrical trailer yet? Yes? Have you seen it twice? Yeah? I suggest you watch it again no matter how many times you’ve seen it!

Through The Spyglass - Arcona

With Halloween over and the large set of competitions out for grading, things feel quiet and calm at the time of this report. But have no fear. There’s nothing wrong with a little calm before the storm. Remember! According to Sarin’s timeline for the remainder of the year, there’s going to be a Great Jedi War sometime in December. Or all of December. I guess we’ll find out!

And if there’s anything Arcona shines at-- it’s the wars. In the meantime, there is competitions from the clan that can be checked out! You’ll find them in the lower sections of the report.

As it was said earlier by Mirus, yes, the Battleteam and activity as a whole (including from your busy leaders) has been pretty low. Email is very important, and it would be great if all of you were able to email us back when we do email and at least say you understand what’s going on, or maybe even mention something on Telegram-- which we’re both pretty easy to get a hold of on there or in the Tyrant Sword group. Yes, there is one!

Mirus and I will be speaking soon on what we can do to try and get some more activity going. We can plan and plan, but we need your help too. What are you guys interested in? What kinds of things can we give you to do that’ll catch your eye and get you going with the DJB again?

I’ll be emailing everyone some number of days after this report is out. So watch your inboxes for it. Note: It will be a group email AND solo emails. This is important.

• Arcona Trivia Madness #1 - Like trivia but can’t log into the IRC or do live trivia? This is for you! First one starts November 6th!
• Chronicler of Arcona - Like the ACB or ACC? Enjoy writing in general and interested in how your character fits within the societies of the Brotherhood? Check this competition out!
• Arconan Origins - Ever wanted to write out or establish why your character joined Arcona, or their House or their Battleteam? This is a good opportunity to get your creative juices flowing.
• Well Crap, This Is Going To Hurt - You’ve seen the future and how your life meets its end. How do you prepare? A good competition if you’re looking to write more for fun than trying your hardest to meet the Voice fiction rubric.
• Star Wars Uprising and Star Wars Commander - Enjoy playing either of these games? Well there’s competitions just for you! They run until December.
• SWTOR Madness - Play ToR? With many different categories of events to choose from, there’s bound to be something for you in this competition!
• Crack the Code, Crack the Code II and Crack the Code III - Like puzzles? Of course you do. Give it a shot!
• Time Circuits On! - So you end up going back in time. Where would you go, what would you do and why that period? Any time travel rules are game.
• Star Conflict PvP/PvE - Gotten the chance to try this game out yet? No? Give it a try! If you have, take a look into the competition!
