Tython Squadron Report 7: Rally Cry

Greetings everyone. Main item of this report is to highlight the current House Event: Shadow of the Kesaret. House Satele Shan Summit has painstakingly crafted a staggering NINE competitions that encompass gaming, graphics, flash activities, and writing. This event truly offers something for everyone, and provides the opportunity for Tython Squadron to lead from the front.

Briefing

NINE competitions? Indeed. The following is the rundown of the competitions being offered:

• Following the Thread is a fiction competition whereby House Satele Shan has been tasked with tracking down the location of the Kesaret and finding the stolen Shipwrights’ Guild craft. 500 word minimum.

• Compiling the Evidence is a timed trivia competition focused on recent House events, as well as being heavily Tython Squadron centric. Let us get it pilots.

• Lost Contact is a comic maker competition and is a nice, fun little activity that many people enjoy. Members can utilize Rage comic maker for this one and requires just 3 rows of graphics.

• Stress Testing is a flash game that has elements of code cracking and critical thinking.

• Reaction Time is a mobile game based on the ‘Escape Room’ craze.

• Fighting into the Depths is a PVP competition and a great time for our gamers to show what they are made of!

• Responding to the Threat is a run-on event that requires teamwork. There is still plenty of time to get this accomplished. We are utilizing the Telegram channels to form teams but if you need help please contact the House Summit.

• Stronger when we Fight Together is a PVE competition that allows you to pair up with your wing mates and fight against others.

• Ship of the Line is a graphic competition that allows you to design an enemy fighter craft.

Closing

Things have been slower, slightly, on the Tython Squadron specific activities to allow for unencumbered Shadow of the Kesaret work. House Summit will be putting out some reports of their own very shortly to highlight membership activity and cement the importance of this event. Looking forward to seeing the great work our pilots contribute. Again, Shadow of the Kesaret runs through 9th of March so plenty of time to get engaged.
