A round-up of the recent reports from on high: Yacks requests applications for the Quaestor position in Dinaari and updates for Gathering Darkness. Don't miss out on Dru's report either!

Announcements

The biggest news, and covered in most reports, is that the Dinaari Quastor position is open since Kaz stepped down. If you are interested in filling his large shoes, applications are due by Aug 29 to Rian, Yacks, and Howie.

Anyone who likes iOS games - Valhavoc has set up a squad in the Star Wars Commander game for anyone playing on the Imperial side. I've been enjoying the game thus far - worth checking out if you like Star Wars and games!

Also, a reminder to take the SA Leadership Rewards Course. We have a lead in the competition for now, but since it's percentage-based, we can lose it pretty quickly to any unit that's smaller than us.

Competition Focus

Another fast competition here: Speed Sporcle Challenge #2. This is the second in the series and got a ton of participation in the first round. It's quick but has a challenge to it this time around. It should take you less than 10 minutes from log-in, subscription, completion, and submission.

Activity

Just as an FYI - I tend to mark your participation here when I get notified of it. That generally means when I get the email that a competition has been judged - in the long run that doesn't affect you, but in the short-term there'll be some reports that don't include a pending/running competition. Don't fret! You will get noticed!
