Happy Star Wars Day everyone! I'm a bit late on reporting these, thanks to an insanely busy day at work, but I'm going to try to catch up with the multitude of sales available to help feed your nerddom today.

There's a few sites keeping track of the various Star Wars deals available at the moment, including a list up at StarWars.com, and another list of digital deals.

There are some special sales I want to bring attention to though.

• The Disney Store is offering 30% off all Star Wars items.
• Her Universe is offering a wide variety of sales, and cool swag on orders of over $25.
• ThinkGeek continues to be your one stop shop for all sorta gear with 20% off.
• TeeFury has an amazing May the Fourth Collection available.
• ShirtPunch has some limited time designs with an Episode VII feel.
• Marvel's Star Wars Collection is also on some extreme sales (as much as 75%!)
• And last but not least, don't forget to get your gaming fix at Steam, Gog, the Playstation store and Xbox Live.

There has also been a great deal of news released today regarding Episode VII and other topics near and dear to our hearts, like Star Wars Battlefront and the next anthology film.

• Members of the Episode VII cast posed for photos with Vanity Fair magazine. In it we get confirmation of Gwendoline Christie playing Captain Phasma (aka the Chrome Trooper from the second trailer), and our first glimpse of Adam Driver as Kylo Ren.
• The second anthology film is still being reported to be a movie concerning a notorious Mandalorian Bounty Hunter. This movie has seen some rough patches already considering it just lost its director.
• Finally, EA has revealed that Battlefront will ship with 12 multiplayer maps at launch, at least one of which will be the planet Sullust.

Obviously, all this only scratches the surface of this, our happiest day, but I hope it's not too late for people to take advantage of some of the great deals and news.
