News got posted on IGN today that Disney Interactive has revealed Star Wars: Attack Squadrons, which will be a F2P Space Combat game for the PC. It's currently being developed by Area 52 Games.
You can read the full news post, as well as watch an (apparently non-gameplay) teaser trailer over at IGN.

Also, you can watch the announcement trailer, here:
whoops, fixed.
Also, thanks for adding in the trailer, I got so excited I didn't bother trying to track it down on the youtubes :P
You beat me to doing a news post by like 5 minutes! I haven't had a chance to actually read anything on the site yet, but I hope it's better than what we assumed it would be when we first heard the name a while ago.
I think, and this is just a pure guess, that it seems to be similar to galactic starfighter, but with X-Wings and TIEs, and standalone, but hopefully without the need to fit it into the MMO system, thus allowing joysticks.
I can't find anything on the producer, they seem to have been founded in June of this year, probably for the production of this title.
Hopefully they have full Controller support! heh.

Sounds almost like World of Tanks but with Starfighters. I'm okay with this.
Looks sweet. Unfortunately, it appears their beta join button is not working (It looks like its been broken for seven hours, judging by the Facebook page. Should be up soon.)
