Yup you read that right, Star Wars characters and images are coming to a college near YOU! Over fifty schools have signed up to add some Force performance enhancers to their sports team's roster. The new line of items is expected to consist of clothing, lunchboxes, coolers, and it sounds like anything else that could be expected to be found at college campus tailgate party (scantily clad college girls and shirtless college guys not for sale, sorry).
According to the announcement on StarWars.com the clothing is already available from select retailers, and will be coming to campus stores soon. Check out the link for the full listing of schools making the jump to lightspeed.

Um...not sure about this money grab.
Oh, it's definitely a calculated move to make more money. For people who's favorite NCAA school is on that list though, it's a welcome one that lets them combine two things they really enjoy, and probably worth tossing some cash at.
If I followed any of those schools if buy a shirt or something. I just might pick one to follow anyway and buy stuff mostly for the Star Wars icons on it.
I really hope more schools jump on this. I'd love to rock a UK/Star Wars shirt during basketball season. Big Blue Nation needs some SW representation. (Rhyme unintentional but personally appreciated)
It's a shame that my college isn't on the list and I highly doubt it'll ever be.

Go figure. Washington State is on the list, but UW isn't. Not that I follow college sports anyhow. If the NFL did this, then yes, my wallet would cry.
