This news is a day or two old, but I was just reminded about it and haven't seen it posted around here yet. Those of you not riding the internets all day may have missed it. TMZ first released some general set pictures of Episode 7. Nothing huge, but a general idea of one of the settings at least.
The next day, a familiar starship was pictured as well. However, the director (J.J. Abrams) has put those rumours to rest!

Yeah, I definitely think he's having a bit of a laugh while confirming it. Sadly, I agree with him as excited as I am for this stuff. I want to completely lock it down, and when the eventual trailer comes out? I want it to be basically a picture of endor's forest, with music, and a falcon flyover.

Wow. I'm actually pleasantly surprised that they're trying to use not as much CG. That'll be interesting to see. Do you think J.J. is going to follow the original-original or the special edition original? I mean the ones that were on VHS.
