Clan Taldryan has been dealing with the invasion of a sect of Sith into the Caelus system. This new "Empire" has decried the ways of Darth Sidious and his followers, insisting that unlike the former Emperor they manifest the true legacy of the Sith. These Unchained have insisted that while the machinations of Palptaine were all wrong, they are willing to set the path of the Sith into their proper way. They have reached out, offering guidance to the willing and correction to those who resist their direction.

Now, the gaze of the Unchained have turned for now away from Taldryan and toward the Orian system. The traffic within the Orian empire, the announcement by the Sadow Overlord, and the actions of said Consul have brought the gaze of this new sect onto the Clan Naga Sadow. Clan Naga Sadow has been dealing with several undesired elements in their system, leading to several internal security concerns. It was under this backdrop that the first mention of the Unchained ocurred. One Rowik Flaq made the push into Sadowan space to "reclaim" a lost artifact from the Overlord. This initial intrusion is repelled.

There were several days of uneasy peace. Unfortunately, it was not a lasting peace.

Participation Points

Each individual will earn five points per event they participate in. Participation is defined a valid submission for an event. Simply signing up for an event or uploading an unqualified submission will not count. You have to put in the effort in order to receive the reward. Participation will earn 5 points.

Placement Points

Additionally, the top three individuals in each event will earn placement modifier points.:

First place will earn 3 points, second place will earn 2 points, and third place will earn 1 point. Events themselves will have modifiers based off their perceived difficulty/level of effort required applied to placement points. This is separate and in addition to the participation points.

Effort Modifiers

• Placement points earned in Flash, Puzzle, Cypher and Member/Item search competitions will be multiplied by 1.

• Placement points earned in Gaming and Graphics competitions will be multiplied by 2.

• Placement points earned in Individual Fiction competitions will be multiplied by 3.

• Placement points earned in Run-On competitions will be multiplied by 3.5.

Event Placement

• The top three placements overall for the event will win 2nd level Crescents.

• Placements will be determined by the number of points earned over the competitions contained in this event.

• Ties will be broken by comparing placements, comparing placements. In example: three 1st placements and two third would beat 5 2nd placements if points were otherwise tied.
