Elevation Request: Jedi Hunter Ralph Vundu (10075)

The passage from Apprentice to Dark Jedi Knight can be incredibly demanding, disorienting... yet very rewarding. And it is my honor to nominate Ralph for an elevation that will help him towards this goal, by promoting him to Jedi Hunter and allowing him to begin his Trials for Dark Knight.

As an individual, Ralph has accrued three crescents (2 Cr-E, 1 Cr-Q), nine Clusters of Fire and a Dark Cross; however, he also has participated in numerous competitions including, but not limited to, the three-way Clan Feud "Uneasy Alliances", the War of Ascension, House Exar Kun competitions and several Gaming Nights. But it is not his individual activity alone that merits his elevation...

At only Guardian, Ralph accepted the position of Aedile for his House. This chore can be extremely demanding, but he has - to this point - proven himself a capable and willing leader. Already, he has recorded 10 reports, hosted 3 competitions and monitors his charges by auditing his House Mailer, reviewing dossiers for elevation/award and completing a grocery list of random odds-and-ends tasks for his Quaestor and Clan Summit; including fictional development for the Prospectus, Military Ranks, web-site redesign and more. And all of that in just over three months of service to his House and Clan.

For his service and his personal activity, I believe that Ralph is ready for elevation to Jedi Hunter. Congratulations, Ralph.

Oriana Winters has taken the DB by the horns, literally. Not even a day after being Novice, she's built a 7,375 byte Wiki page, complete with character information, pages, and otherwise useful information on her character. She has also passed the Brotherhood Basic's exam, as well as put her Character history in to be approved. This enthusiasm is what Arcona needs, and I'm proud to recommend her for Acolyte. Ric "Blade" Hunter is one of the unsung heroes of House Dorimad Sol. His behind the scenes work in the little noticed field of graphics has helped HDS and CSP dominate the graphics events in both the IG's and the recent feud. His creations are used throughout the clan, house, and battleteams where they helped complete the overall look for CSP. Since his last elevation, Blade has earned over a dozen Crescents in major competitions as well as a pair of personal awards for his continued success and activity. Recently, he has also added gaming to his inventory of ways to help promote gaming within his house. In addition, his leadership and experience has helped to guide House Dorimad Sol and Clan Scholae Palatinae to dominance over the past year. I wholeheartedly endorse Blade for elevation to the rank of Sith Battlemaster.

To Whom It May Concern:

Blade has been aptly named the GFX pimp. Over the last year, Blade has been instrumental in the development of many graphic intensive projects for both the House and Clan. While talent alone is not enough to merit promotion, the dedication to getting the desired product does. For example, I recently appointed Blade to a graphics project for the House Headquarters. The deadline was 2 weeks. I had the first draft 2 hours later. Above that, Blade revised his project so as to fit what was asked of him. In the end, a wonderful product was produced.

This project is not the only project he has done. Lucien and Phoenix have commissioned Blade for many other graphics projects, undoubtably yielding similar results. While many of these projects are top secret, I estimate the images in the dozens. Ranging from personal images to images for the developing military of CSP, Blades projects are sure to give the clan a very very bright future.

Beyond the Graphics projects, Blade has been involved in daily activities as well as many of the competitions and feuds that the Clan has become involved in. His continued participation has built a strong base for future members to look up to. Additionally, Blade has devoted himself to the betterment of the Clan.

Most importantly, Blade has been a good role-model and friend for the members of his House. Be it by displaying participation or just through simple conversation, this presence of mind is exactly what an Equite should be doing, that is bettering his or her clan without focus on self benefit.

I vastly appreciate Blade's work within our Clan, and I am enthralled that he is a member of House Dorimad Sol. Congratulations Taters, You've Earned it!

Ric “Blade” Hunter. CSP Resident Graphics Hulk. While the others will speak to his many various achievements, let me explain to you why Blade is such an invaluable resource to CSP at this time in her history.

As Phoenix and I attempt to push the Clan further and further into a fictional basis for their characters through character development competitions, detailed descriptions of landmarks, places, and people, and through good old fashioned roleplaying; Blade brings to the table the most important aspect of all this. He gives CSP a graphical representation of the things that used to live mostly only in our minds.

He has the uncanny knack for taking a short text description of a place or landmark and bringing the feel and aura to the picture. There is no limits to his expertise nor is there a time when he will say no. He took it upon himself to create a multitude of graphics that cover most, if not all, of the leading landmarks and buildings of the Clan. He has done so with speed and quality and has not disappointed.

In addition to his graphics wizardry, he was crucial in organizing the Marines of Scholae Palatinae in our military reorganization effort. As a reward, he was named High General of the Marine Corps and as such, has taken a particular interest in making a perfect graphical representation of what the Scholae Marines look like. The two drafts that I have seen so far are amazing.

In the very near future, the Clan will be releasing an updated Dominion to include the various graphics that Blade has made for us. The project included several people, but the keystone was Ric. Without him, the Krath in all of us would have just been flailing about needlessly. He helped us to visualize the dominion in a way that none of us would have thought of and made it possible to finish the facilities of Scholae Palatinae to the satisfaction of the Consul and ProConsul.

It is for his varied efforts, but mostly for his advisory role and ability as graphics pimp of Scholae that I recommend Ric Blade Hunter for promotion to the rank of Sith Battlemaster. Congratulations.

Over the past 3 weeks, I've seen Seph grow into a well rounded and most reliable member of Arcona. I will not make this a simple checklist, as his achievements deserve recognition. He has completed several competitions, one of them being Legorii's Internal Strife comp, while being extremely ambitious and putting out his entries to my motto comp before it even began! I can see my apprentice, Seph, is on his way to great leadership. Since I appointed him to Battleteam Leader to Prophecy, he has jumped well ahead of the game, and already sent out a competition that has gotten approved, as well as his introduction email. In closing, he is on IRC nearly any time he is needed, making him an active voice in the clan. I am proud to recommend my apprentice to be elevated to the rank of Guardian.

Wolvie is far overdue for a promotion. He’s been the centre of all of Arcona’s gaming for as long as I can remember, netted a formidable score in the recent inter-clan feud and co-pioneered the recent ambitious project to create a JA-orientated battleteam. On top of his he has created a JA server for Arcona that can be brought up as needed and has been a startlingly insightful voice of reason for the summit. It Is high time his efforts are recognised. Wolvie is nothing short of a force of nature directed by his own tenaciousness, audacity, and drive to excel on behalf of his Clan. Wolv is one of the two pillars upon which Arcona's gaming powerhouse is built: since his promotion to Dark Jedi Knight, he has earned an impressive 547 Clusters of Fire, numerous Crescents for sterling performances in Gaming events during recent Feuds, two Seals of Dominance, 4 Seals of Darkness, and a Gold Nova for winning Second Darkness (JA). He has earned an Anteian Cross for placing 42nd in Second Darkness with 111 points, and a Dark Cross (and Seal of Pain) for 24th Place in the Eighth Great Jedi War JO/JA ladder with 164 points and 58 matches. Wolv also started a highly-successful JA training program under Timeros, and earned himself a Dark Cross for his tireless efforts on behalf of his House and Clan! I remember my first discussion with Arador, and how impressed I was with his ambition and his initiative. Now, he has become a centerpiece in Qel-Droma, and still bears the same potential he did on his very first day.

He has recently taken my place as Tetrarch of Dark Orb, making him only the second BTL of the team since it was reborn. This is a difficult task for any member, as he is still tasked with many rebuilding efforts that other BTLs don't have to deal with. Already, he has proven his worth by reworking the wiki article, composing his first report, and preparing his first competition.

Also, Arador has participated in a few competitions, including my own Internal Strife competition. He has also passed two Shadow Academy courses in the past week, and is headed towards his first degree! His wiki article has also seen many updates recently, all of high quality. He is an example to all Arconan Journeymen, even if he doesn't realize it himself. His continual presence on IRC guarantees that he is always around for effective communication and to be a symbol to the rest of the Clan.

I can see that Arador is well on his way to greatness, and there is much more in his future. For these reasons, I hereby recommend my apprentice, Arador, be elevated to the rank of Guardian.
