In the 4 months since Raiju became QUA of House Tridens, he has been a symbol of both change and stability. Raiju has proposed and implemented several innovative projects (Project X, Tridens Chronicles, etc.) to improve the House and has also leveraged his experience to help House Tridens weather several staffing changes. He, along with his staff, have brought more than a dozen new members into the House and Clan and strive to create an encouraging atmosphere of progress for his House. He is also mentoring several junior members to become Knights.

In addition to being an exemplary House leader, Raiju has also become a strong and outspoken leader for ClanTarentum. He had participated in numerous leadership discussions regarding the future of the Clan and proposed changes in membership advancement and the master-student program. Raiju has brought a sensible and logical approach to these discussions and I hope that he will continue to evolve into a great leader he can be, not just for House Tridens, but Clan Tarentum as a whole.

Lastly, on top of all his fine work as a leader, Raiju has remained an active participant in several competitions and events. He participated and placed in the Clan competition "settling Home", created and won Trivia events and participated in the Independence Games.

Four months is a long time for any member of Raiju's caliber to have gone without recognition of his efforts and achievements. I hope that this promotion and my sincere thanks as a mentor and friend will repay even a fraction of the effort and dedication he has given, and will continue to give, his House and Clan. Recommendation for promotion of Tra’an Reith to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight

Throughout his short, but successful Dark Brotherhood career, Tra’an Reith has shown me, both as his ProConsul and his Master, that he is the kind of member that Clans dream of. He came into Scholae with unwavering loyalty, without even knowing fact #1 about anyone or the direction in which the Clan was headed. He simply jumped feet first into gaining power and prestige for himself, his House, and his Clan. For that alone, Tra’an is to be commended.

He has successfully completed all the requirements for Dark Jedi Knight as laid down before him by myself. He has exhibited the necessary skill set that the Clan has put forth as the needed tasks and skills required of all Knights of Scholae. He has shown his strengths in Run-Ons, displayed his strengths in leadership and administration, and even worked on his weaknesses in the ACC. His motivation and drive are second to none and Tra’an reminds me of a young me back in the days.

To say Tra’an is my proudest accomplishment is an understatement. I have graduated several Apprentices to Knight status, yet only a few show the staying power of Hunter Reith. Recently, he was tabbed to assist me with the administration of the Master-Student Program of Scholae, something he quickly outgrew to become the Rollmaster of House Acclivis Draco. His tenacity and attention to detail will serve him well in his first House Summit position

Tra’an, while contributing to his overall success, had also been a source of grounding and counsel for me. He gives me a fresh voice and opinion on a variety of issues, leading to me appointing him to oversee the research of the Scholae artifacts, no small task for a shoot first Obelisk. Tra’an took the task in stride, even making the tough decisions to tell some members who ranked higher than him that their research was insufficient. The team is still buried in research, with most of the heavy thinking and research being tasked to Tra’an junior comrade, Korroth, after Tra’an realized that his depth of research had gone above and beyond what was asked of him.

By exhibiting all the attributed and characteristics of a Knight of Scholae, it is my honor to release Tra’an from his training obligation and proclaim him a Dark Knight of Palatinae.

I still have the email entitled "Dark Brotherhood Dossier Activated! Welcome, Tra'an Reith!" in my inbox. It's a beautiful sight, really. Time just flies...

Tra'an Reith joined the Dark Jedi Brotherhood during my ninth month as Quaestor of House Acclivis Draco, and he has been one of the steadiest members that I have ever known. His determination to succeed, his desire to achieve, and his laidback attitude have allowed him to reach the threshold of Dark Jedi Knight. In the past, some of his peers have simply been booted over the edge and into the land of Knighthood after being outstandingly active for a relatively short period of time. With Tra'an, the Clan Summit and I decided to take a different approach: he must surpass himself.

This young Jedi Hunter had been constantly growing and pushing both our expectations and his own contributions to the House and Clan forward and up. Several times, I have approached his Master, Proconsul Lucien Kaeth, about promoting Tra'an, but we decided to wait, which was a test for his patience and our patience. Now, Tra'an has shown that he embodies everything that Clan Scholae Palatinae "Core Values" hope to show: "Integrity First, Service Before Self, Excellence in All We Do."

His leadership in the "Clan Artifacts" project has been extraordinary, and I know that the final product will be absolutely phenomenal. His participation in nearly every large event has been exemplary, from the Eighth Great Jedi War to the Independence Games 2008. If every member tried as hard as he, Acclivis Draco, and Scholae Palatinae as a whole, would be completely unstoppable in absolutely everything.

After nine months as a member of the Brotherhood, Tra'an is ready to strut across and don the robes of a Knight. As he steps into his new role as Rollmaster, I hope to show him the reins of the House in order to introduce him to the aspect of the Brotherhood that few Knights have seen and embraced. As I have said numerous times before, Tra'an has the ability and dedication that will allow him to become one of the greatest members that this Clan has ever seen.

Szordryn is the type of member that I love. He's competitive, yet always willing to help out with the betterment of the team; he's active, but not to the extent that he burns himself out but enough that he's constantly noticed; he's energetic, but not a liablity nor disruptive member and manages to encourage others with his feats. Since his last promotion he has be active throughout Tridens in a variety of areas; from completing three courses at the Shadow Academy, participating in every House and Clan competition since (and placing in a grand total of 6), to behind the scences work with graphics for both Gladius and Tridens for their wiki pages. Aside from this he has also been a member who encourages and assists ours as well as his summit whenever possible and has been a main contributor to the Tridens Chronicles project. As his Master, I originally left a very flexible task project for Szordryn to complete to make it to Jedi Hunter but Szord's efforts through his own work and direction has earned his promotion to JH in my eyes. For his extreme competition participation rate, his continuing studies at the SA, and his work for both Tridens and Gladius

It's not very often I promote a member from GRD to JH with little "regular" activity behind them for merit but Elols has never been a regular member of Tridens. Since an early start, he has served as a leader within this house and since his last promotion he served as BTL for a solid three and a half months before the teams were removed. During this time he did an extremely important job of running 3 different team competitions, develping team fiction and background informations as well as encouraging his members to strive forward as well as giving them the tools to advance themselves. Because of his role here, he was a great candidate for the Rollmaster position and I haven't regretted selecting him yet. He's not only timely with his introductions but informative and regularly involved with the early development of our house's recruits. Lately he's even branched out and ran a house competition and fair success, getting a some humourous submissions for his graphic comp of the Clan's castle. Lastly, in work with Szord he has also managed to provide Tridens with graphics for the House's wiki page and been an informative and greatly welcomed advisor to the House summit. For his great work as BTL and now RM, I recommend that Elols be promote to the rank of Jedi Hunter.

Over the last year, none have been more faithful to the cause of advancing Clan Scholae Palatinae than Cethgus. During this time Cethgus has served as Battleteam leader in both House Caliburnus and House Dorimad Sol, and he's achieved great success in both tenures. Over this time, I've had the opportunity to work closely with Cethgus. Cethgus is full of ideas, drive, and the desire to succeed.

Cethgus is always the first person to get an entry in for a competition. He's active in every sense of the word. In one year, Cethgus has earned well over 25 Crescents of varying degrees (I think its higher than I can count, actually :P). Cethgus is continually involved in ACC matches, as well as anything else that you through in his direction. I hadn't realized how much he actually does until I saw that! Additionally, Cethgus has gathered a hand full of Clusters Of Fire, Legions of the Scholar, Seals of Pain, and Dark Crosses. Each of these medals show the dedication and drive for success that Cethgus has.

Most impressively, I feel, is the manner in which Cethgus leads his battleteams. Cethgus' leadership style is designed to get every member of his team involved. Cethgus will allow members to make important choices for the direction of the battleteam. Such things include allowing members to become involved in the writing of wiki-articles, the creation of back stories, and additionally, to allow them to create unofficial items for the team to carry. I am continually impressed by Cethgus' ability to get everyone involved in the process of fictional advancement. Doing things like this helps the entire House advance, as well as forward the Clan.

Additionally, Cethgus has helped to mentor and tutor the journeymen of the clan. Cethgus recently got himself a Scroll of Foundation for mentoring DJK Korvyn through knighthood. This is a feat that even I haven't accomplished. Cethgus finds the time to focus his student's trials to their needs. All in all, Cethgus has developed into a rolemodel for the clan and house. I hope the magnitude of that statement is enough to jumpstart him even more, if it is at all possible.

All I have to say about that is that this man deserves an elevation to the next level of the Equites, where he can make a larger impact on the people that surround him. Congratulations Cethgus. Thank you for all your hard work. Thank you for your dedication. And finally, Thank you for being you.

Cethgus, it has been a long road since you first joined the Dark Brotherhood. Believe it or not, I still have the automated welcome email that was sent to me because I was Rollmaster of House Acclivis Draco at the time. In the two and a half years that you have been a part of our wonderful Clan, it has been a priviledge to watch you grow and an honor to fight with you on the battlefield for the glory of Scholae Palatinae.

Cethgus never surrenders, even when he knows he's losing and that he's wrong and that he has no chance whatsoever. His stubborness is one of his trademark qualities, and it sometimes works to his advantage. Even though he can be as annoying as an out-of-tune violin playing a piece by Paganini, I would be lying if I said that he wasn't one of the most loyal members of the Clan. His work on numerous projects, from Jedi Academy training nights to helping develop House Dorimad Sol's fictional background has been tremendous and greatly appreciated.

I realize that I can be quite harsh with you, but you just have to remember that those who are hardest on you are the ones who still haven't given up. Remember that the next time I drive you insane by correcting your spelling on IRC. Through your dedication, initiative, and desire to make this Clan grow, you are more than worthy to be promoted to the rank of Obelisk Prelate after over one year as a Templar.

Cethgus…..where to begin. Aside from being one of the most active members of Scholae, Cethgus is a constant source of entertainment, whether intentional or through his actions. He is passionate, fiery, and quick to react, all things I expect to see from an Obelisk of Scholae. He strives to be the best in whatever he does, and though he may fall short, his spirit and motivation are never diminished.

There is a plethora of things that Cethgus has done for his BT, House, and Clan since his last elevation, far too many to list here. Instead, I will gloss over his accomplishments and instead focus on why I believe that Cethgus has a very bright future in the Dark Brotherhood.

Separate from his passion and drive is his overwhelming desire to help and assist others in their pursuits within the DB. Despite never holding a position above Battleteam Leader, Cethgus has gone out of his way to be a boon to his House and to help members from other Houses get accustomed to the Brotherhood. He is a constant presence on IRC, lending a hand wherever needed and providing tons of humorous material for the membership to revel in.

He is very big on the role-playing aspect of the Brotherhood, delving into his character more than might seem safe. He passes this passion down to his Battleteam, which he has led with distinction for quite some time now. His reports are timely, concise, and predictable, so that the average member can glean the new information quite quickly. He is rarely late with a report, something that all members of the Brotherhood who hold a leadership position should strive for, myself included. He shows himself to be a dedicated individual and it is my honor and privilege to nominate him for promotion to Prelate and grant him the ability to craft his custom saber and carry it into battle.
