Elevation Request: Obelisk Templar Michael Arkarso (4867)

My interaction and time with Michael has been limited, but my recognition of his efforts and contributions to the Dark Brotherhood have not. I am honored to present this Dark Knight for elevation into the Equite Class as I believe he has proven himself an activity dynamo worth the recognition that will place him above his peers. Today, I request his elevation to Templar.

Clan Scholae Palatinae recently attained the honor of Second Clan in the Brotherhood Vendetta "Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness" compiling 330 Clan points - outstripping four rival Clans to affirm their right as an Elite Clan. For contributions, participation and tenacity to ensure the Clan's wartime efforts... I recognize Michael's effort. Compiling 76 individual points in the MP Gaming Event and taking the rank of 59th Overall in the Vendetta.

In addition, Michael has collected one hundred twenty seven (127) Clusters of Fire, six (6) Topaz Crescents, four (4) Quartz Crescents, one (1) Emerald Crescent, two (2) Sapphire Crescents, two (2) Amethyst Crescents, five (5) Seals of Darkness, a Legion of the Scholar, a Dark Side Scroll and completed five Shadow Academy Courses (Marksmanship, Astronomy, Capitol Ship Studies, Pre-Republic History & History of the Sith Empire I).

As a whole - totaling the sum of his efforts since elevation to Dark Knight - this member has achieved several landmarks in his Brotherhood career. His gaming efforts have totaled over five hundred (500) Clusters of Fire, accrued a spectrum of Novas (Gold, Silver, Bronze), worked as a Battle Team Leader and participated in two major Vendettas (Sixth Great Jedi War & Rites of Supremacy: Second Darkness). His expertise and dedication to the Brotherhood, participation and creating a fun Star Wars community is a testament to his deserving this elevation.

Trials of the Dragon

Jedi Hunter Gavan has been under my tutelage since the dawn of the Sixth Great Jedi War. And, perhaps, has been my toughest Apprentice to track - his progression - as he is an integral part of the DBPA. However, I believe that he has proven himself a regular, constant source of activity and maturity that is the standard of Scholae Palatinae Knights.

As the Sith Grand Admiral of the DBPA, Gavan is the primary go-to guy for all tasks related to Imperial Piloting. According to Raidoner, Gavan is simply the best. He spends countless hours each week helping members of the Guild attain the rank of 'Ace', as well as several others whom are allied to our Guild. In short, he acts as a role model and source of knowledge for the Dark Brotherhood to this diverse facet of our culture. His contributions cannot be enumerated; however, I know his total log of hours played in the name of the Dark Brotherhood eclipses three hundred (300) total hours. He has, in my opinion, gone beyond the minimum expectations to develop into a fine leader in this venue.

Compiling 50 individual points in the MP Gaming & Fiction Events - accruing three Seals of Darkness - and taking the rank of 94th Overall in the Vendetta.

Since his elevation to Jedi Hunter, Gavan has accrued over one hundred and fifty (150) Clusters of Fire, has participated in Gaming Nights, SIT (3), the Outer Rim War, the Arcona versus Scholae Palatiane Feud (3 Events). Most improbably, Gavan also began to show his diversity by participating in the Rites of Supremacy Fiction event - taking a large step forward towards his fulfillment as a member. He has been inducted into the Order of the Dragon - where he serves as a Role Model for House Acclivis Draco.

Lastly, and most importantly, Gavan has stepped forward as a mediator. He recently took the initiative to help settle the difference between two members and while the situation had escalated beyond his control... the sheer fact he attempted to step in and help two people overcome their squabble... it speaks volumes.

For all of these things, as a sum total, I request his elevation to Knighthood.

Rayne has made her wiki along with submitting to the [HSK] Wiki Grading comp. However, her biggest attribute as a member is IRC time. She's on IRC at least six hours a day. She starts conversations there very often and is a contribution to the Clan in that area. <br> ~AED Niman Visutor

Allow me to bring one of our most valuable members and mentors to the attention: Sashar. Since his latest return to Arcona, last November, he has been a tremendous asset to his Battleteam, House, and Clan. Considering the fact that his last promotion was four years ago, even before the split, in my opinion he is more than worthy of a promotion to Exarch.

Normally such a list of medals is counted “since last promotion”, but this list consists only of medals he’s been awarded since his last return to Arcona. And there’s more…

Recently, he was made Arcona’s Clan Envoy, and already he has taken steps towards improving new member reception in the Clan, as well as excellent communication with the other Envoys, the Clan Summit, and of course the new members. Along with others, he has worked on developing Arcona’s own training program, something he’ll have an even larger role in now that he’s the Clan Envoy. Also, he has written a very extensive master/student guide, one that I’m sure will turn out to be a great help with his management of the master/student program, as well as the three apprentices he’s currently training.

Prior to that, however, the main focus of his leadership and mentoring skills was Soulfire Strike Team. Dash stands at the heart of the team, and has constantly helped fellow Soulfire members with every aspect of DB life. He is also responsible for a large portion of the (very extensive) Soulfire Wiki page.

In the recent Feud against CSP, he was instrumental in Arcona’s crushing victory, winning the long fiction event, and the run-on event with his team. He also played his part in motivating Soulfire and Galeres, supporting Malidir in this when needed.

In the even more recent RoS, although his real life schedule was very busy, he delivered a great deal of work for the Arcona Battleplan submission, as well as participating in several gaming events, the ACC, and the first round of fiction. This only shows that even when he doesn’t have much time, he can and will make much-appreciated contributions to Arcona’s performance.

Aside from all this activity, Dash has also been of great value to me as an advisor on Clan matters. For these reasons and more, it is my honour to request Sashar’s elevation to the rank of Exarch. Congratulations!
