Xendar is what you may call a quiet warrior, lurking late at night. He is, however, a consistent cheerleader and encouragers of his peers. I've found him constantly pushing his peers to to the next level while matching those words with his own actions.

Xendar is always finding ways to be active in the DJB whether it be organizing and participating in comps, or just hanging out in the Clan chats on TG providing encouragement and helpful input. During the RoS: Escalation event, he participated in 9 comps representing both his clan and faction.

He has a high participation rate in fiction comps with entries I've had the privilege to read over time as he continues to further develop his character(s) with his passion for writing interesting and well-developed stories. His fictional word count and clusters of ice count represent this very well.

Xendar is a phenomenal member of CSP, and I am more than happy to see him rise up to EQ2. Very well earned, Xendar! Keep up the grand work!

Xendar is one of the most consistently active people I can think of in Scholae. From the smaller clan events to the larger ones, to club-wide comps and Vendettas, Xendar is always a familiar face. He’s participated in competitions at different levels and even organized his own, more than happy to give other members something to do. He’s written many interesting stories that total over 66,000 words.

But that’s not all when it comes to Xendar. He is frequently an active and positive presence in the clan’s Telegram channel, always there to share his thoughts on whatever the topic of conversation might be or offer encouragement and suggestions to others. Xendar is a great member of the clan and I’m sure this is just the beginning of his journey here, and I can’t wait to see where it leads. James has been deserving of recognition for some time and I am honored to put him forth for EQ1. Since his last promotion, September 9th, 2017, he's served over two years as a Social Media Staff Member, he's competed in 36 competitions, organized/co-organized 9, written 4,525 words of fiction, and most recently won his first Gold Nova for placing first in the "A Venue to Die For" competition.

In terms of recognition he'd obtained 111 clusters, 14 Crescents, and 6 seals of enmity.

While his career may not be as "flashy" as others he is a constant presence with CSP since his break from February - June, 2021 and immediately came out with a grand slam in the RoS.

I’m thrilled to be able to recommend that James be promoted to Equite 1. James has been active in each area of the club’s main activities, including running some of his own competitions, and he’s a friendly person, always willing to share his thoughts and to listen. During his time in the club he has also involved himself in wiki work for the clan in the past and spent time as a staff member for the Social Media Tribune. This kind of initiative is great to see in any member and a good sign that there will always be more on the horizon. While real life may have pulled James away for a time, he came back with a vengeance, and I couldn’t be happier to see that.

To put in the numbers since his last promotion, James has organized 5 competitions, co-organized another 4, and participated in 36 competitions - earning 15 crescents ranging from Topaz to Ruby. He has written 4,525 words of fiction, participated in 2 ACC matches, and passed 18 SA courses - earning him 4 degrees in the process. He’s earned a Dark Cross, an Anteian Cross, a Gold Nova, 91 Clusters of Fire, 16 Clusters of Ice, 4 Clusters of Graphite, and 6 Seals of Enmity from the recent RoS: Escalation.

Since her last recognition (promotion to JM4 in September of 2020), Crysenia has participated in 21 competitions, earning herself a Crescent with Ruby Star. She has also participated in 2 PvE activities and 3 fiction activities (totalling 4803 words), receiving 6 Clusters of Fire and 9 Clusters of Ice. On the Shadow Academy side, she has completed 4 courses and earned 1 degree, along with her work as a Professor (which Ciara will describe in more detail).

Crysenia joined the Shadow Academy faculty in May of last year to take on the role of Combat and Warfare Professor. Since then, she's graded 118 courses (97 since her last promotion) with an average grading time of about 6 hours - well below the standard of 24!

Almost as soon as she was hired, Crysenia set to work immediately with plans to improve much of the department, which included a number of courses that needed total rewrites. So far, she's rewritten the Personal Armor and Land Vehicles course and worked with Erinyes to map out a plan for the whole department with outlines for future courses. Both completed courses included research to find fresh, canon examples of relevant Star Wars content as well as armor and vehicles from the club's possessions system. She also worked to integrate any relevant DB-specific content into the courses as part of our goal to make the content both interesting for Star Wars fans and helpful for club members. For instance, she included information on the encumbrance system for possessions/ACC in the Personal Armor course as a way to help members select the appropriate armor for their characters in different situations.

In addition to writing the course content, Crysenia expressed an interest in really learning the admin side of the Academy, so she took both courses from concept to markdown to creating the exam questions from the admin side.

As a professor, Crysenia also commonly goes out of her way to provide helpful grading feedback – particularly to new members - offering tips on how to get connected beyond even the Shadow Academy to make sure these members feel welcome and oriented. She's also one of the first to let me know when members are excelling in the Academy so that we can highlight them in reports.

Crysenia has shown herself to be someone who is interested in improving the experience members have with both the Shadow Academy and the club at large, so I'm happy to add my recommendation for her promotion to the Equite ranks!

A promotion to the ranks of the Equites is such an important milestone for a member of the DB. Today, I have the privilege to recommend that Sinya Ani be promoted to the rank of Mystic. Sinya is by far the most active member of House Ventress and had an especially good RoS. Since her last promotion in March, Sinya has participated in 35 competitions, 18 of which were in the recently completed RoS. That is the third highest in the clan on participation. She also won 2 Bronze Novas and finished 3rd overall in her sub-faction! Sinya was also one of the Plagueians recently honoured with a Seal of Loyalty by our Grand Master.

She has participated in six PvP matches, completed an ACC battle, submitted nine fiction entries amassing 4304 words in the process. She has also completed two run on posts for 1125 additional words of fiction and passed two SA courses.

For all this activity, Sinya has received the aforementioned 2 Bronze Novas and 1 Seal of Loyalty as well as 3 Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 11 Clusters of Fire, 19 Clusters of Ice, 21 Clusters of Graphite and 18 Seals of Enmity from the RoS.

Sinya joined the DB in January of this year (2021) and made it to Knight in just over three months. I have been extremely pleased to see that Sinya's activity has not slackened at all after making it to JM4, but has in fact accelerated. This promotion to the Equites is thoroughly deserved, congratulations Sinya!

It has been a long time since Knight Malfrost had a promotion. Looking at his stats, he has exceeded the time needed since then. During this time, he has a Steel Cross, an Anteian Cross, 2 Novas, 16 Crescents, 10 PoBs, 675 Clusters all together, and 18 Seals. He has also met the requirements for Leadership by being Magistrate to the Fist the last 5 months and before that, nearly 17 months as a Magistrate to the Deputy Grand Master.

Since being in Vizsla, he has done all the things and been active in fiction (7934) words, organized or co-organized 8 comps, and was in 60 competitions. I feel it is time for him to receive this hard earned Promotion from Knight to Equite 1.
