Tali has been quite the busy little lekhead. Since his last promotion, he has organized 23 competitions, co-organized 2 and participated in 130 competitions. As a result, he has earned a ton of clusters (50 Fire, 155 Ice, 50 Graphite) and has been awarded a slew of crescents (3 Diamond, 4 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 13 Sapphire, 14 Emerald, 5 Topaz). Tali is also extremely active during Vendettas, and has earned 24 Seals of Discord and 25 Seals of Vision. He made a good showing of himself too, winning 1 Gold Nova, 1 Silver Nova, and 2 Bronze Novas.

When he’s not doing all the competitions, Tali is either writing or participating in the SA. He has completed 3 ACC battles, 4 Run-On posts and has written an impressive 62,088 words of fiction. He has also passed 60 Shadow Academy courses and earned 14 degrees in the process.

But that’s not all! Tali has also proven himself to be a stellar leader, having served for over a year as Quaestor of House Qel-Droma. During that time, he has been integral in guiding the overall storyline for the house and planning events and roleplaying sessions to encourage activity. He oversaw the fictional transition from Voidbreaker I to Voidbreaker II, which included multiple competitions and fiction updates. He ensures that the members are informed with his monthly reports, and immersed in the House storyline with monthly fiction updates. With the assistance of his Aedile, Aru, they revamped the Port Ol'val wiki to include improved descriptions of existing locations, including the new Qel-Droma Headquarters. He is also currently overseeing a Telegram RP that will decide the fate of the Qel-Droman fictional timeline. And, if that were not enough, he also worked with Kordath and Qyreiato evaluate and reorganize the Clan posessions.

On the back end, he keeps the Upper Summit informed with monthly updates concerning activity within the House. He has also taken responsibility for guiding newer members and has been awarded 2 Scrolls of the Master for mentoring Sera and Archian to JM4. Tali has received a Sapphire Blade for his outstanding conduct as a leader and member of the DJB, Clan and House, and he continues to do excellent work.

Tali has devoted countless hours of time and a seemingly endless amount of dedication to Arcona and the DJB. For all of his hard work and effort, I am proud to recommend him for promotion to EQ4. Congratulektions and well done, Tali!

Tali has been an ideal member as a Seer, and a fantastic helper on the Rollmaster side of things. Mentoring both Sera and Archian was a big boon, and helped establish both members within the club socially, the most important part of member retention. Tali has created engaging stories for both their House and the members around the Can, helping keep interest and driving activity.

The Lek-warrior has earned their EQ4, and I’m so proud to see it happen!

Having worked with Tali for roughly 1 year now has allowed me to experience up close his approach to the House and Clan. Tali gives 110% at all times and always strives to achieve better results than he has before. I have seen Tali steer our House fiction timeline towards an amazing plot and together with our esteemed members, he keeps developing it.

Tali is undoubtedly one of the nicest people I know, and that shows in his TG interactions. And not only is he nice, Tali is also an amazing teacher, having taught me all I currently know of how to lead a House.

Since his last promotion in August of last year, the artist occasionally known as Princess A-Aru has served House Qel-Droma with distinction as her Aedile. Everpresent in our daily chat rooms on Telegram, I cannot recall a time when he’s not been upbeat and encouraging, always happy and energetic to tackle the day and hype up the next adventures within our House and Clan.

His gathered accolades thus far include running seven competitions and participating in a total of 62, as well as fighting five battles in the recent SARLACC event in which he placed within the top-10! On the academic side of things, he’s completed a sixtuplet of coureses, earning him a quadruplet of degrees. For his enthusiastic participation in various competitions, he’s brought home four crescents with Amethyst stars, one Sapphire, five Emeralds and three Topazes, as well as 23 Clusters of Fire, 32 of Ice and a further 25 of Graphite. His further achievements include seven Scrolls of Foundation as well as a Scroll of the Master.

As Aedile, Aru’s help has been invaluable to the running of the House. He’s been a swift and dutiful right hand in all manner of tasks, and especially maintaining our activity reporting and doing the heavy lifting in our monthly reports, pulling out and tabulating the monthly activity scores and writing (I'm almost ashamed to admit) the lion's share of the report. Especially when it comes to the less-fluffy aspects. He’s also grown as a leader, as befits someone obtaining the lofty ranks of EQ2, and I’ve been proud to see him partake in our Summit discussions with growing confidence and measured opinion. What I've been most appreciative of, however, is helping me guide the current "arc" of House Qel-Droma's story to a conclusion, by acting as a sounding board and developing our opposition more in depth in preparation for whatever direction we will go for next.

It’s truly been a pleasure to have Aru in our House, not only as a kick-ass Aedile, but as a fellow Arconan and a helpful friend. I know I can trust him for good advice and assistance, and he is more than willing to offer the same to anyone in our Clan. It is with greatest pleasure and the widest two-thumbs-two-lekku up that I recommend Aru Law be promoted to EQ2.

A-Aru joined the Shadow Academy staff in May of last year a Magistrate. He immediately took on creating a course. That process included him learning a new tool and creating dozens of precise screen capture gifs as dynamic visual aids for the Website Navigation course. He earned a Steel Cross for this effort, which was exceptional and done in record time on the tail end of a GJW. Since then, he's created the survey we used to get feedback from members on a FAQ we're developing to help new members. That project is ongoing, but he's used the information gathered from that survey to create the foundation of that project already.

Beyond his project work, Aru has been to the Shadow Academy staff what it sounds like he is everywhere he goes - an enthusiastic, positive force brimming with ideas and energy to get things done. When our Leadership professor stepped down recently, Aru immediately volunteered to take on the course load in the interim and has been managing that well. His feedback as an interim professor and as a "substitute" grader in his Magistrate role is always encouraging and helpful.

Aru's truly an asset to the Shadow Academy, and I'm happy to recommend him for this promotion. :)

Aru is an excellent example of both a member and a leader. As Tali has indicated above, he is regularly active and devoted to participating in club activities. He is a constant and welcome presence on Telegram, where he frequently encourages discussions regarding club and clan-related activities. I particularly enjoyed seeing his growth during the recent SARLACC event.

He has served as Aedile of House Qel-Droma for the last 8 months and has proven himself to be indispensable. His assistance in planning House events and storylines has been incredibly helpful, as is his enthusiasm in hyping events. He also assists newer members by answering questions and encouraging character growth through House-sponsored RP sessions.

Aru is everything I would look for, both as a member and as a leader. If I could clone him so that I could have ten of him, I would in a heartbeat. As such, I am thrilled to support this recommendation for his promotion. Well done, A-Aru, I am so proud of you!

When one looks back at Pel's history on the site, you can see he has a pretty storied history with our club. Since he was promoted all the way back in August of 2002 to the rank of Equite 3, there has been a lot. He organized a competition and helped to coorganize another for Clan Tarentum: Fleshing Out the Fleet and Battle Plan #1: Enemy On Ice respectively.

Over the course of his time as Equite 3, Pel has participated in 166 competitions. The earliest included a trivia and a fiction competition for the Lazaru Reflex. Other notable competitions included May the Fourth competitions from 2015, competitions for Tarentum's Reanimated competitions, Star Wars Uprising competitions, Galaxy of Heroes competitions, Tarentum Trivia, participation in the New Ties event between Tarentum and Naga Sadow, Star Wars Celebration comps in 2017, his five competition participation in Great Jedi War XIV: Homefront, the 2020 Pro Bowl and our recent Winter in Orian competition. This is not a conclusive list, of course but rather just a sampling of his competition activity at a glance.

If you look over his dossier, you can also see an interesting mix of activities. Since his last promotion Pel has accrued 565 Clusters of Fire, 311 Clusters of Earth, 3 Pendants of Blood AND 17 Clusters of Ice. The writing for which he earned his Clusters of Ice was comprised which was 6084 words over 11 fiction activities and 2736 words he wrote over 6 Run on posts. Then, when you look at activities like gaming you can see a small mix of activities including, TOR Flashpoints, TOR Heroics, TOR Operations, 2v2 battles in Star Wars: Force Arena and Heroes of the Storm matches versus AI. His gaming activity in particular was stretched over 2 PVP matches and 21 PVE activities total.

Over the course of his term as Equite 3, Pel has earned numerous awards for his activity and support his Clan. Grant it, I have learned of these largely by digging through his dossier, but that doesn't make them any less impressive! He earned a Sapphire Blade back in 2016 for "constant participation, constant communication, constant efforts to help shape our new members and their experiences." He also recieved 2 Steel Crosses- one for activity and support of his Clan and another for serving as an Appeals Panelist and helping Jac to draft a manual as related to transitioning between groups of Appeals Panelists upon rotation.

Two Anteian Crosses on Pel's record attest to work done before but recognized after the Exile and then notably an Anteian Cross that he was presented by Clan Naga Sadow for his contributions to our Clan's efforts in Great Jedi War XIII and in how he participated regularly in Clan events following his joining our little family. He has continued to support his unit as he did before in his old Clan and has carried his fervor over to his new 'home' with our Clan.

The Dark Crosses that Pel has gotten have been for his hitting the ground running upon return from the Rogues back in May of 2015, supporting his Clan by offering up a treasure trove of Clan history and mentoring another member for which he was recognized in June of 2015, and then he earned another in August of 2015 for being the most active member of his Battle Team and being a presence/contributor in Telegram and his Clan. Also, and far from least, he earned a Bronze Nova back in 2003.

Oh yeah, Pel has also passed 56 courses, earned 8 degrees and has written 13 reports over his various positions. What were those positions? Well, looking back you see that he spent about a month following his last promotion at a Battle Team Leader, a clean 5 months as an Aedile, over a year (as noted in his Sapphire Blade's rec) in the seat as an Appeals Panelist and then 16 months as a Battleteam Sergeant.

Even beyond his leadership experiences, I think there is something to be appreciated in the roughly 45% 'win rate' for placing in competitions. How many placements has he gotten? Well, for example he got 2 Crescents with a Dimaond Star, one for achieving first place in Reanimated: Chapter 3 in 2015 and for getting first in The Inquisition of the Force. He also got 12 Ruby Crescents with a Ruby Star for: getting 2nd in a comp in Reanimated Chapter 3, for placing in nine different Star Wars Uprising comps, and for winning 2nd in March to Dathomir for Clan Tarentum. While I won't list off every achievement that earned his 24 Crescents with Amethyst Star, his 17 Crescents with Sapphire Star, his 14 Crescents with Emerald Star, 5 Crescents with Topaz Star and a solitary Crescent with a Quartz Star I feel that the numbers alone attest at least in part to Pel's long and storied tenure in our club. He has also taken part in 4 Vendettas, which have earned him 1 Seal of Wrath, 2 Seals of Fury, 1 Seal of Discord and most recently as 5 Seals of Visions.

I feel that in putting together this recommendation that I have barely started to scratch the surface of who Pel Tarentae is and even what he has accomplished over the years. A simple recommendation is also not a sufficient means to show the appreciation that one has. I could try some trite words, but I will would rather to say this:

You have doubtlessly helped to make the Brotherhood a fun and great place for others. I have had others attest to as much, and I have been quite happy to have you find a home in Naga Sadow. I think that it is time that we recognize what you have done, what you have accomplished and thus I want to raise my voice in both recommending Pel for the rank of Equite 4 and in congratulating the latest Warlord in Clan Naga Sadow.

In the immortal words of Count Dooku, I've been looking forward to this. Tracinya/Kalon/Jarion/Whatever you want to call him today, is one of those members that personifies not only what it means not just to be a member of Clan Taldryan, but of the Brotherhood as a whole.

I know Howie really likes his numbers, so I'll start with Tracinya's activity level, which can best be described as consistent and strong. Since Tracinya's last promotion, he has participated in 102 competitions. 7 of which are from the recent Aggressive Expansion Clan storyline. A further 25 were from the last Oro bowl between Clans Taldryan, Plagueis, and Naga Sadow. (Which was a very strong showing.) Then a further 15 in Great Jedi War XIV.

Awards wise, this is quite the extensive list. Tracinya has earned 1x Grand Cross, 3x Anteian Cross (the last of which was awarded last August), 2x Crescents with Ruby Stars, 2x Crescents with Amethyst Stars, 6x Crescents with Sapphire Stars, 3x Crescents with Emerald Stars, 1x Crescent with a Quartz Star, and 1x Dark Side Scroll.

On top of this, Tracinya has written 12427 words of fiction and a further 1831 words in Run-Ons. He has also passed 14 Shadow Academy courses and gained one degree!

I would be remiss if I did not include Tracinya's leadership experience. Previously, he has served as Quaestor in two separate terms. One lasting four months and the other for seven. He has also served as a Battleteam Leader for two months, an Aedile for 29 days, and a wiki staff member for seven months. It's an astonishing list to look at and I can't help but be amazed at it all.

Now for the stuff that isn't recorded by the sight. Tracinya is an important member of House Ektrosis, and he brings a life to the House with his willingness to participate in anything. My case in point would be the co-op fiction he wrote with me, which can be seen here as well as a co-op fiction with Dasha "Jala" Talus which is still in the works. Next, he is a part of the Ektrosis world building Run-On, which can be seen here.

All in all, I feel this has been a long time coming, and I am proud and honoured to recommend Tracinya's promotion from Battlemaster to Battlelord! Congratulations, Tracinya. You earned it!
