For sometime now, Merlance has been due for a promotion. Merlance is, whether he realizes it or not, one of the model members of Clan Taretnum. In the course of the past five months, Merlance has continued to be one of the most active members in the Clan. He has continued to be the dominating force in weekly MP comps and the Sunday Invitational tournaments. At the peak of his activity, Merlance successfully completed my challenge of winning 100 CFs in 30 days; something I still feel to be an impressive feat. He has also participated in clan trivia and other numerous competitions. Merlance maintains a friendly and active personality on IRC and is all around a good guy to know. More recently, Merlance ended the XWA Bracket in Join-First place, earning a squadron of TIE Defenders for his Clan. In the end, Merlance is just plain overdue for a promotion and Im more than happy to elevate him to the rank of Warrior.

Merlance was a benefit to Tarentum when I was
Consul, and I believe he continues to help press the Clan to
greatness. I was pleased with his performance in the Bracket
Tournaments, and wasn't surprised that he made it into the top three,
sharing First Place with Rakhai. I think he's more than ready for the
promotion to Warrior, and add my support for this, as well.
