Tali has been quite the busy little lekhead. Since his last promotion, he has organized 23 competitions, co-organized 2 and participated in 130 competitions. As a result, he has earned a ton of clusters (50 Fire, 155 Ice, 50 Graphite) and has been awarded a slew of crescents (3 Diamond, 4 Ruby, 9 Amethyst, 13 Sapphire, 14 Emerald, 5 Topaz). Tali is also extremely active during Vendettas, and has earned 24 Seals of Discord and 25 Seals of Vision. He made a good showing of himself too, winning 1 Gold Nova, 1 Silver Nova, and 2 Bronze Novas.

When he’s not doing all the competitions, Tali is either writing or participating in the SA. He has completed 3 ACC battles, 4 Run-On posts and has written an impressive 62,088 words of fiction. He has also passed 60 Shadow Academy courses and earned 14 degrees in the process.

But that’s not all! Tali has also proven himself to be a stellar leader, having served for over a year as Quaestor of House Qel-Droma. During that time, he has been integral in guiding the overall storyline for the house and planning events and roleplaying sessions to encourage activity. He oversaw the fictional transition from Voidbreaker I to Voidbreaker II, which included multiple competitions and fiction updates. He ensures that the members are informed with his monthly reports, and immersed in the House storyline with monthly fiction updates. With the assistance of his Aedile, Aru, they revamped the Port Ol'val wiki to include improved descriptions of existing locations, including the new Qel-Droma Headquarters. He is also currently overseeing a Telegram RP that will decide the fate of the Qel-Droman fictional timeline. And, if that were not enough, he also worked with Kordath and Qyreiato evaluate and reorganize the Clan posessions.

On the back end, he keeps the Upper Summit informed with monthly updates concerning activity within the House. He has also taken responsibility for guiding newer members and has been awarded 2 Scrolls of the Master for mentoring Sera and Archian to JM4. Tali has received a Sapphire Blade for his outstanding conduct as a leader and member of the DJB, Clan and House, and he continues to do excellent work.

Tali has devoted countless hours of time and a seemingly endless amount of dedication to Arcona and the DJB. For all of his hard work and effort, I am proud to recommend him for promotion to EQ4. Congratulektions and well done, Tali!

Tali has been an ideal member as a Seer, and a fantastic helper on the Rollmaster side of things. Mentoring both Sera and Archian was a big boon, and helped establish both members within the club socially, the most important part of member retention. Tali has created engaging stories for both their House and the members around the Can, helping keep interest and driving activity.

The Lek-warrior has earned their EQ4, and I’m so proud to see it happen!

Having worked with Tali for roughly 1 year now has allowed me to experience up close his approach to the House and Clan. Tali gives 110% at all times and always strives to achieve better results than he has before. I have seen Tali steer our House fiction timeline towards an amazing plot and together with our esteemed members, he keeps developing it.

Tali is undoubtedly one of the nicest people I know, and that shows in his TG interactions. And not only is he nice, Tali is also an amazing teacher, having taught me all I currently know of how to lead a House.

And to wrap things on my end, I have come to like Tali even more with each day we work together, seeing him as a great friend in this whole community. It is my pleasure and honor to support this recommendation, for I truly believe that Tali deserves this promotion.

Since his last promotion in August of last year, the artist occasionally known as Princess A-Aru has served House Qel-Droma with distinction as her Aedile. Everpresent in our daily chat rooms on Telegram, I cannot recall a time when he’s not been upbeat and encouraging, always happy and energetic to tackle the day and hype up the next adventures within our House and Clan.

His gathered accolades thus far include running seven competitions and participating in a total of 62, as well as fighting five battles in the recent SARLACC event in which he placed within the top-10! On the academic side of things, he’s completed a sixtuplet of coureses, earning him a quadruplet of degrees. For his enthusiastic participation in various competitions, he’s brought home four crescents with Amethyst stars, one Sapphire, five Emeralds and three Topazes, as well as 23 Clusters of Fire, 32 of Ice and a further 25 of Graphite. His further achievements include seven Scrolls of Foundation as well as a Scroll of the Master.

As Aedile, Aru’s help has been invaluable to the running of the House. He’s been a swift and dutiful right hand in all manner of tasks, and especially maintaining our activity reporting and doing the heavy lifting in our monthly reports, pulling out and tabulating the monthly activity scores and writing (I'm almost ashamed to admit) the lion's share of the report. Especially when it comes to the less-fluffy aspects. He’s also grown as a leader, as befits someone obtaining the lofty ranks of EQ2, and I’ve been proud to see him partake in our Summit discussions with growing confidence and measured opinion. What I've been most appreciative of, however, is helping me guide the current "arc" of House Qel-Droma's story to a conclusion, by acting as a sounding board and developing our opposition more in depth in preparation for whatever direction we will go for next.

It’s truly been a pleasure to have Aru in our House, not only as a kick-ass Aedile, but as a fellow Arconan and a helpful friend. I know I can trust him for good advice and assistance, and he is more than willing to offer the same to anyone in our Clan. It is with greatest pleasure and the widest two-thumbs-two-lekku up that I recommend Aru Law be promoted to EQ2.

A-Aru joined the Shadow Academy staff in May of last year a Magistrate. He immediately took on creating a course. That process included him learning a new tool and creating dozens of precise screen capture gifs as dynamic visual aids for the Website Navigation course. He earned a Steel Cross for this effort, which was exceptional and done in record time on the tail end of a GJW. Since then, he's created the survey we used to get feedback from members on a FAQ we're developing to help new members. That project is ongoing, but he's used the information gathered from that survey to create the foundation of that project already.

Beyond his project work, Aru has been to the Shadow Academy staff what it sounds like he is everywhere he goes - an enthusiastic, positive force brimming with ideas and energy to get things done. When our Leadership professor stepped down recently, Aru immediately volunteered to take on the course load in the interim and has been managing that well. His feedback as an interim professor and as a "substitute" grader in his Magistrate role is always encouraging and helpful.

Aru's truly an asset to the Shadow Academy, and I'm happy to recommend him for this promotion. :)

Aru is an excellent example of both a member and a leader. As Tali has indicated above, he is regularly active and devoted to participating in club activities. He is a constant and welcome presence on Telegram, where he frequently encourages discussions regarding club and clan-related activities. I particularly enjoyed seeing his growth during the recent SARLACC event.

He has served as Aedile of House Qel-Droma for the last 8 months and has proven himself to be indispensable. His assistance in planning House events and storylines has been incredibly helpful, as is his enthusiasm in hyping events. He also assists newer members by answering questions and encouraging character growth through House-sponsored RP sessions.

Aru is everything I would look for, both as a member and as a leader. If I could clone him so that I could have ten of him, I would in a heartbeat. As such, I am thrilled to support this recommendation for his promotion. Well done, A-Aru, I am so proud of you!
