Today I receive a very special honor of awarding Brijah her first medal. She is the pinnacle of dedication in the Brotherhood -- she has slowly worked her way toward the completion of 11 Shadow Academy Courses and it is with great joy I can say she finally made it. For this great feat, I recommend we recognize her efforts with a Dark Cross. Because in addition to simple SA exams, she provides a great morale boost on IRC and continually offers feedback (positive and negative) to our leadership that is greatly appreciated. In addition, she has accepted her first Master and begun work on attaining Guardian. ~ Dakari

Voldemort is one of the most active individuals (though not compared to his mother!) in Scholae Palatinae. Continually you will find this individual leading the charge in both MP Gaming and the ACC (where he is improving greatly as he strives to master the skill of combat writing). Most recently it has come to my attention that he has compiled Crescents (Quartz x2, Amethyst, Ruby) and Clusters of Fire (30). In combination with his high level of Brotherhood-wide activity, IRC presence, and his constant suggestions, ideas and feedback (all of which we greatly appreciate) I recommend this member for a Star of Antei ~ Dakari

It has come to my attention that Dark Knight Korbin has yet to receive a merit medal - today, we will rectify that situation. Korbin is a highly motivated gamer that seems to idle until the competition has CSP backed up against a wall or a major competition comes our way. In short, he is a Protector of Scholae Palatinae and her way of life. Laurus is a key individual in House Acclivis Draco. Not only does Laurus provide stable, personal activity (5 Crescents, 34 Clusters of Fire, 3 Seals of Indoctrination) but gives his House (Acclivis Draco) a much needed figure head at the position of Aedile. The task list is long and distinguished, but each month I can guarantee a monthly topic (or two), reports and a desire to help his members progress within the Brotherhood. This is the perfect blend of personal activity, dedication to House/Clan and overall a great leader that I am honored to serve at my side. Xan is vital asset to Clan Scholae Palatinae. He has become a tremendous Rollmaster and Envoy, providing his new members with an excellent welcome letter and answering their questions on IRC. Beyond holding those duties Xan is an elite Gamer in the Brotherhood. He has compiled Crescents (Ruby, Quartz, Emerald), Clusters of Fire (countless.. but we'll round it off at an even 50) and has still found time to receive an invite from the GMRG, find an Apprentice and maintain an outstanding (much appreciated) IRC presence. Awarded after recommendation from DJM Sarin and Clan Plagueis:

The Ruby Scepter is the sign of a scholar in the Dark Side and its lore. It is awarded for achievement and/or contributions in the area of instruction, invention, and mentorship to one's Clan or Order. I can think of no one who is more worthy and deserving of this award than Dark Adept Jonaleth Isradia. Jonaleth is the Ultimate example of what a Master should be in the Dark Brotherhood. He is universally respected by his peers and more importantly by those he has mentored from Journeymen to Equite. Over the course of the past several years Jonaleth has mentored no less than six individuals into the Equite Class. His knowledge and training of these members have benefitted the entire Dark Brotherhood.

In addition to the training and mentoring of several members of Clan Plagueis, Jonaleth has also contributed to the area of invention and instuction by creating an enormous volume of work titled The Lore of Plagueis. This volume of work totals in at 20 pages of 10 font verdana and serves as a fictional drop for all that is Clan Plagueis. The Lore of Plagueis includes the History of the Clan, The Creation of the Clan's Force Powers, The Creation of the Clan's Elder Council of the Wise, the Clan's promotion guidelines, the Clan's Dark Jedi Knight Trials, The Clan's Force Powers, and the Clan's possessions. This body of work can only be summed up with the word, amazing.

On a personal note, I believe Jonaleth deserves this award because he truly is the Loremaster of Plagueis, Exar Kun, and the clan that preceeded that (you know, the evil one we dropped at Exodus). Jonaleth has kept meticulous records of the past of all of these Clans and has played a crucial part in allowing me to rebuild and create the history of Clan Plagueis. The rebuilding phase of Plagueis is now complete with Jonaleth's Lore of Plagueis and the Clan, the Dark Brotherhood, and I all owe him a debt of gratitude. - Dark Jedi Master Aristan "Sarin" Dantes

Words can hardly deliver the true meaning of DA Jonaleth Isradia's contributions and commitment to Clan Plagueis. His devotion to ensuring the growth and spread of knowledge within the Clan is unparalleled anywhere else in the Dark Brotherhood. His exhausting work on the creation of the Council of the Wise, organizing the artifacts and other objects in possession of Clan Plagueis, assistance in building the Clan History, involvement in the development of the "di Plagia" honors, and major work in development of the Clan Plagueis Powers can only begin to define the contributions of this outstanding Dark Jedi withiin Clan Plagueis. When I joined the Brotherhood, I was greeted by Jonaleth and was struck by the wealth of knowledge that he possessed. Since then, he has always been one to turn to when you needed help with a competition entry or guidance in your trials. Having been a student of his, I have valued his opinion and his judgement. Revenge serves a very important role in the daily maintenance of House Acclivis Draco: Rollmaster. Whenever a new member joins the Summit can rest assured that this member is leading the charge on welcoming him, providing him a path to higher ranks and finding new members Masters and the old ones Apprentices. And on top of this all he maintains a diligent presence of activity in both Clan (Fiction, Run-on, Envoy) and Brotherhood (ACC CL:3, CFs, Crescents). Since becoming Commander of the Guard Khobai has helped revive what was a dying institution. When he took over a lot of people were ready to lay the GMRG to rest once and for all, but here we are nine months later and interest in the GMRG is better than it has been in a long time. Today the GMRG has purpose, pulling off successfully the fine line between an elite unit and one able to accommodate the whole DB.

Khobai has persevered through a time when many would have thrown in a the towel, despite a troubled public opinion of the GMRG he has helped transform it into something in which many members now find enjoyment. The expansion of the GMRG ranks, the Loyalty system, regular competititions, an upcoming Shadow War; all things that appeal to those looking for something to aim for on a long-term basis, even if they are unable to get promoted elsewhere. He has also incorporated non-gaming elements into the GMRG successfully for the first time, something predecessors have tried but never managed to integrate quite as well as the GMRG in its current incarnation.

All this Khobai has managed while for a consider deal of time being Proconsul alongside his GMRG commitments, and also without the aide of a database, having to maintain all the lists and Loyalty scores on gmrg.darkjedibrotherhood.com manually. He has also begun to apply his knowledge of the real Imperial Royal Guard from the Crimson Empire stories to flesh out the fictional role of the GMRG, something in time we will hopefully see take form even more with things like the GMRG Force Powers etc.

All in all, Khobai has been one of best, if not the best, Commanders of the Guard in recent history. His work has helped keep the GMRG alive when otherwise it would already have been consigned to the history books. For this he more than deserves this Emerald Dagger.

Windos has triumphantly returned to the Halls of Gladius in a whirlwind of activity. In short time since his arrival, Windos has taken part in every conceviable compeition ranging from Battle Team and House level to the DB level monthly MT comps. On top of all that my inbox is flooded with passing reports from the SA (6 additional courses). His is a model career thus far.

Xen has proven his value over and over again, in Clan Scholae Palatinae. Since he has joined our ranks he has strived for excellence and personal bests - during that time he has served admirably as a Battle Team Leader and Aedile (to House Caliburnus) and has provided experience and exuberance to his Quaestor. His daily task lists includes working with his members, creating/grading competitions, brainstorming along with Impetus to provide the best services/fiction/competitions and overall he has helped mold the house into our most active reservoir of talent.
