Recommended on behalf of Dark Side Adept Dalthid:<br> <br> Just recently, the Antei Combat Centre suffered a tremendous blow to its staff. Although all staff members within the ACC do put their all into their work, there are some who go that extra distance, and truly shine. Without a doubt, Vessicant is just such a person. For his entire time on the staff - roughly a year and a half - Vessicant was a Trainer, a thankless job where one is tasked with critiquing the works of others, telling them why spelling is important, why they can't block a lightsaber with a piece of metal or why a Novice may have a difficult time throwing an Equite around. Being one of the longer-running staff members, Vessicant has had to deal with such battles countless times, the numbers truly staggering if one were to count every qualification and training battle he had done. <br> <br> <br> <br> However, not only was his workload tremendously high, his quality of work was, by far, the "best" of all trainers. The depth in which he makes his comments are astounding, and are, by far, the most detailed that have graced the ACC site. Checking ANY of his training battles will show you the truth of these comments. In addition, he has developed a 'Trainer's Guide', specifically written for staff members, that covers everything from the basics of how to approach a battle to how to deal with the normal frustrations of the position. This addition to the staff's handbook will be a great help to those going through the same scenarios and merely solidifies his mentoring attitude and his desire to see the staff prosper and improve.<br> <br> <br> <br> The Amethyst Kukri is awarded for: "Exceptional services in the form of single projects or long-term leadership..."; "Bearers of this award have shown dedication and focus on furthering one aspect of the Brotherhood far beyond the norm."<br> <br> <br> <br> If SWL Vessicant is not worthy of this award, I don't know who is. He was indispensable for the duration of his stay, a key player to allowing a manageable workload for the entirety of the staff-taking on an average, twice as many trainees than anyone else over the course of his time, a template for how in depth comments to combatants should be with a clear understanding that trainers are the 'gateway' to the ACC proper and a good friend of the staff, in general. He was conscious of how his singular efforts effected the staff and the membership and strived to keep his position free of malice and untainted by bias - he was, and is, an exemplary professional.<br> <br> <br> <br> This award is a small token of appreciation for all of his hard work and effort. He will truly be missed, and it is hoped he will one day return to continue his great work. Until then, thank you for everything you've done, Vessicant. It was a great honor to have worked along side you all this time.<br> <br> <br> <br> <br> <br> ///signed///<br> <br> DJM Halcyon Rokir Arconae<br> <br> DA Dalthid

Primary reason

As Grand Master, I always look for competent, self-driven and innovative leaders to help in the efforts of the Dark Council. In my time here I have been absolutely blessed to have a great series of DC members. Anshar Kahn is no exception to this. Since the day he was appointed to Praetor to the Headmaster through today where he serves with distinction as Headmaster, Anshar has been an amazing driving force in the Shadow Academy. Today, I gladly award him with an Emerald Dagger.<br> <br> Anshar has always impressed me with his quiet attention to detail and drive for excellence. As Headmaster, his job is often unseen by the older members of the Brotherhood, but the newest members appreciate it so much. Anshar’s efforts in leading the SA and overseeing the Society of Envoys is what keeps this club alive – the new members he teaches are our lifeblood. Anshar constantly takes time to help the new members get accustomed to the DB – without him many would be lost.<br> <br> Anshar has also expanded upon the Shadow Academy since taking over. We have seen a variety of new courses added to the site, and the staff works diligently as ever. Recently, the number of people that have passed exams since Anshar took office surpassed 1000, a great achievement indeed. The SA Site continues development and soon the whole Academy will have a new look.<br> <br> What I like most about Anshar is that he puts effort into making sure things are going in the right direction. He does not like the status quo and always pushes for more. He always has his EPs going back and revamping their courses. Things like the Big Envoy report, too, are essential for knowing how well the DB is doing.<br> <br> Anshar is a big asset to the DB – I am grateful that he is on the Dark Council and working day in and day out to improve our club. <br> <br> Thank you for all that you do, Anshar. We appreciate you.<br> <br> Grand Master Jac Cotelin <br> <br> ___________________<br> <br> What can be said about Anshar Kahn Tarentae that hasn’t already been said? Anshar is the driving force behind all the recent improvement and expansion of the Shadow Academy. He is constantly looking for new ways for the Shadow Academy to reach out to the members of the Brotherhood. <br> <br> During his career in the Brotherhood he’s served with distinction in many important posts; Consul of Tarentum, Knight Commander of the Brotherhood, and now Headmaster of the Brotherhood. With each new position came new challenges and he rose to the task and not only performed as he was expected, but went above and beyond and excelled in the positions.<br> <br> Anshar has a work ethic that I’ve not seen duplicated by many members of the Brotherhood. He does his duty because he has a genuine desire to make the club a better place, not because he knows it’s a way to get more promotions or shiny little baubles to put in his medal case. His focus has always been improvement of the club for others, something I find very admirable.<br> <br> I believe wholeheartedly that Anshar deserves this award, for the Brotherhood is most definitely a better place in many areas due to his work. Please give this recommendation all due consideration and consider bestowing this esteemed award upon him.<br> <br> Dark Jedi Knight Kromtal Stormfyld<br> SC/StA/DC/Cr-2S-1E/CF/LSS/SI<br>

I saw <br> constant emails, and things like the Clan Envoy challenges that <br> awarded fictional vessels. Anshar has gone well beyond what one might <br> expect from a Headmaster. The Shadow Academy is abuzz with activity. <br> He truly deserves to be awarded for his strenuous efforts for the DB. <br> <br> SBM Mononoke "Macron" Keibatsu-Goura (Sith)/FM-EP-T:DSC/Ludo Kressh of <br> Naga Sadow, Alchemist, Dark Maven, Echani Master, Gladiator Prime <br> DSC Tribune <br> Fifth Caste of the Inner Order of CNS <br> Quaestor Emeritus <br> Free Envoy <br> Black Guard of the Quaestor of Ludo Kressh <br> Keibatsu Samurai and General <br> <br> Anshar is by far a capable leader and friend. In this matter, my utmost support is given.<br> <br> Signed this day July 5th of year 2006<br> <br> Krath Priestess Sylvana Katase<br> <br> Ever since Anshar took over Spear's former position as Headmaster of the Shadow Academy, he knew that he would have to live up to the high standards members were setting for him. Even though he's from Tarentum (:P), he has done a wonderful job making sure that new members are moving along in the halls of the Shadow Academy as well as talking with the EPs, making sure that jobs are being done and taking any suggestions extremely well. Anshar's enthusiasm and great work ethic have truly made the Shadow Academy Staff and the Society of Envoys work extremely hard to get new members involved and interested. He has done an incredible job trying to boost new member's interests to get them through the ranks by helping the Envoys get their jobs done in a more efficient and timely manner. Although the Envoys are no longer under his direct control, he still keeps in touch with us, offering suggestions if needed and supervising Siyavash's work. I wholeheartedly believe that he deserves such an award as an Emerald Dagger.<br> <br> Obelisk Templar RevengeX Palpatine<br> <br> The award criterion for the Emerald Dagger is reserved for members who have: "contributed to the growth and functionality of their Order or the Brotherhood as a whole in the form of competitions or activities." It is my humble opinion that Anshar has fully met the standard for this award during his tenure at the head of the Shadow Academy. Anshar has encouraged the continuing growth of that venerable institution in several ways: by incorporating his staff in decisions of policy; by encouraging the expansion of the current curriculum; and the sponsorship of Envoy competitions. <br> <br> Sith Warrior Sato Bruth'Kothae<br> Dark Maven, <br> Aedile of Gladius, <br> Ecclectic Pedagouge: The Test of Wisdom,<br> SB / GC / SC-SoA / StA-LS / DC-KC-O-CS / Cr-3S-1E-5T / LSS / SI-SoW-SoL / SoL / S:-1Al<br> <br> I usually am not the man to be writing speeches or other things of the sort. But when I look at all the work done by our beloved Headmaster I know nobody deserves this more than him. He is, according to me, one of the most hardworking and dedicated members of the brotherhood. In my opinion Dark Side Adept Anshar Kahn Tarentae deserves an Emerald Dagger for all the hard work he has done for the Shadow Academy and for the brotherhood at large.<br> <br> JH Ood Bnar (Krath)/TYR-EP/Acclivis Draco of Scholae Palatinae [ACC: CL:1] <br> PIN: 3317<br> <br> Award of 'Emerald Dagger'<br> Anshar Kahn Tarentae (308)<br> <br> What cannot be said about Anshar that everyone already knows or have previously stated? Here is an individual that has revolutionized (and still keeps an eye on it) the Knight's Society of Envoys, willingly took over as Consul of Tarentum - only to give up the position to assume the mantle of HeadMaster. Each of these positions requires excessive work, dedication and 'fresh' thinking from outside the box. Sadly, we are no longer wowed when he dazzles us - simply because we now expect great things from him as the norm. So as a reward for the Brotherhood Advancement Reports, an excellent track record as Knight Commander, Consul and now Head Master - I fully endorse this recommendation. <br> <br> KAP Braecen Kunar<br> <br> Anshar Kahn Tarentae was my Consul when I joined the DB. From that day I have respected and looked up to him as the epitome of selfless hard work. In every position he has had, that I've encountered him, he has done his absolute best to make sure that what he is doing is for the best of the members. Not to get noticed, promoted or "shiny'd" like so many others, but simply because he believes that the members come first.<br> <br> As the HM, he is now the solid base upon which the Shadow Academy stands. He always has the patience to explain things to me, something for which I am extremely grateful. I have a tendency to annoy people with all the questions I can come up with, but he has never gotten frustrated or even given me short answers. I know that if I get stuck, he'll be there to help (and fix whatever it is that I've messed up). He has the rare ability to make you feel like you are the most important person in the world when he talks to you. That is how much time he spends on making sure that the members are happy.<br> <br> The one thing that I believe all leaders should have, but most don't, is patience and a tenacity to carry on, no matter what opposition you receive. Anshar accepts input from others, not shooting down opinions no matter how bad they might be, without losing his own ground in the process. He doesn't just blindly follow whatever is deemed as popular opinion, he takes the time to evaluate the pro's and con's of every decision he makes. As such he listens to every person, evaluating what they have to say without judgment and even without resentment if you challenge his views.<br> <br> As HM he has taken to revamping the SA, giving it a fictional background and by the sounds of it, a new website that will rock. That is something I greatly appreciate. I love the SA, but it has received a lot of negative hype because of the auto-promotions. Anshar has taken it upon himself to fix the negative image and give something back to the members that they can be proud of again.<br> <br> Anshar deserves this award for his dedication, hard work and all the unnoticed little things he has done behind the scenes since taking up the reigns as HM.<br> <br> DJK Selene<br> #6694<br> I've known and worked with Anshar for nearly two years now on many different levels. First of all I was his Aedile in House Gladius of Tarentum, then as his Proconsul in Tarentum and now as one of the many EPs who serve under him to welcome, introduce and train members new to this institution. Over these years of service I have come to harbour a deep respect and I would hope friendship with this great man. <br> His dedication to those he has been elected to serve his legendary, he'll go out of his way to make anyone feel welcome and appreciated, a trait that no doubt serves him well as the public face of an institution such as the Shadow Academy. He is a man of many ideas with grand plans and projects he strives to bring to fruition, I've seen this happen in Gladius, I've seen it happen under his Consularship and with the projects he has been instituting in the Academy, the revamp of the CORE courses, the expansion of the fictional aspects of the courses and supervising the redevelopment of the site.<br> As long as I have known him his one aspiration has been to become the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy and it's great to see a person who has reached his desired position and to keep working for it. Anshar will never take a position for granted and will continue to strive for perfection. <br> I can't think of anyone more deserving of this award.<br> Congratulations Anshar.<br> SBL Welshman Corsair Tarentae <br> <br> Since Anshar took over his office, he has done amazing things and doesn't seem to want to stop doing them. The Character History Guidelines, course improvements including the currently running project to make the courses sound more fiction like and the redesign work are just some of those things. I could probably write up a whole page, but I am sure others will do that already, so I'll just say i believe Anshar has fully earned an Emerald Dagger. <br> <br> DJM Arania Lawakiro<br>

I know she's already recieved merit awards but I haven't been able to give her any as of yet. I also don't think the amount of medals she deserves is possible to give in one award. Anyway this is my personal thankyou for all the work done so far in the GJW and I have been meaning to give a merit award to this member for some time.

Primary reason

When I first joined the Dark Brotherhood nearly seven years ago Manesh was one of the first people I met. The then Sith Warrior Manesh Pillai was the same active, helpful, relaxed and enthusiastic Manesh he is today. For one who has put so much effort and time into the club it is rare to not see the strains of time, but Manesh has weathered the storm and remains as easy going as ever, not tired or burnt out like many of his generation. As Quaestor he was a rock on which House Ludo Kressh was built, holding down the job for almost two years, the same Manesh right through to the very end, helping to nurture a House through its infancy. I myself owe him thanks for giving me a chance at Aedile even when there were others who were at the time more deserving of the spot, I often wonder how things would be today had he not given me that chance… indeed I often wonder how much of the whole shape of Naga Sadow would have been changed had he made a different choice.

To the present and seven years later Manesh has been Quaestor again and now Proconsul, a position that took him eight years to finally reach. Eight years, and in all that time he has moved no further than Warrior to Warlord. To me Manesh earned Dark Side Adept years ago, long before the Split, in those days when he was Quaestor but when getting beyond Battlemaster for a Quaestor was unheard of. In the time since he has remained a rock on which the Clan has been built, becoming one of the Sons, one of the few to maintain an active role to the present day. Reading through the list of recommendations myself it is pleasant to see him still having the same affect on new members today that he did all those years ago.

Eight years is a worryingly long time. I was 12 eight years ago. It scares me sometimes to think just how long some people have been in this club. It amazes me more to think how long Manesh has been here and yet how little he has ever been rewarded for it. A lesser man would have thrown in the towel long ago, yet it’s testament to the fact Manesh does what he does both because he enjoys it and because he does it for the Clan, testament to the fact Manesh is the kind of member I wish we had more of. Having weathered the personal persecution of Astatine back during the Emperor’s Hammer as well as eight long years of service and commitment, together with no true recognition, I can think of nothing more apt than to see him become an Elder.

Congratulations, Adept Sadow.

  • DJM Xanos Sadow (Sith)/DGM/Dark Council

Son of Sadow, Consul Emeritus

Someone has been around, and active, for ages, and hardly been recognized as such. Even when he was not in a position of leadership, he was around to help behind the scenes. Today, it is time to recognize him.

Manesh, on behalf of Clan naga Sadow, I thank you for all you have done so far.

Why? For one, Manesh has been my Proconsul since I took charge of Naga Sadow. He helped me, motivated me, assisted me, and I do not know what else. Simply put, I would not have managed without him. Everything I did, I could count on his support. When I did not do something, he picked it up without question.

And not only did he help me. He is motivating the clan, and all those around him. The entire clan would not be where it is today without him. On that behalf are several statements of the people he served with.

Dark Adept Korras, Consul Emeritus.

--

Manesh Sadow was the first person I met when I came to this club. Literally. Crucial are the first couple of weeks after joining this club...there's a lot to learn and it's very easy to get lost in the details and just give up. Manesh wasn't having any of that from me. His easy manner, and friendly demeanor kept me coming back, as I'd talk to him about a variety of things, DB and otherwise... and if i was gone from email for too many days, I'd have a curious message in my inbox asking if I was alright. Manesh cares about people...not the ranks, or the positions, but the people. And that's something that helps make the DB experience more enjoyable.

Now, a lot of members only see his lighthearted silliness, his discussions of television, or giant candy pieces being lobbed at people, and kinda dismiss him as kooky... an interesting character of which Sadow certainly has no shortage. But there is strength there that people don't see. Manesh quietly agonizes over the ways to make this clan, and indeed, the whole brotherhood, great. He's unafraid of work, and doesn't shy away from going down into the trenches himself, as we witnessed his crazy levels of participation in the last handful of wars. And what's more, is that he's not doing it for his own personal glory... but for the sense that he does want his clan to be best. It's not his hunger for recognition that drives him... it's his sense of duty, the duty to make his friends have as much fun as they can possibly have.

Manesh served as Quaestor of Ludo Kressh for a long, long time. I'd wager that he's been Quaestor longer than anyone else in the entire brotherhood. He's proven himself in the Clan, having earned Son of Sadow for his devotion. And his recent taking over of the Proconsul Office was more than well placed, having led Sadow to an unlikely victory, and the highest participation rate I've seen in a long time. This is more proof that Manesh's leadership from the frontlines works.

Even though I am curious as to how this man hasn't been recognized before now, I am proud to be able to recommend Manesh Sadow for the rank of Dark Side Adept, and inclusion into the Elders. Congratulations, Manesh, you more than deserve it.

Muz Keibatsu Sadow, Herald.

Manesh has been a strong leader and motivator for Naga Sadow since the time I have joined. He is always willing to lend a hand, and to assist new members. As Proconsul, and before, he has led by example, often having the highest participation in any of our major events. It would seem that he never tires of the tasks put before him, nor the challenges he is given. I have never had Manesh deny my request for assistance, no matter how busy he was, and his strong IRC presence is always appreciated to lend visibility to our leadership. For all of these reasons, and more, he has proven himself a valuable asset to the Brotherhood. I strongly support his promotion to Adept.

Kat Pridemore, Quaestor of Marka Ragnos

I've always been impressed since I joined the DB by Manesh's open and friendly manner in the chat, he's always been seen as one of the cheerful nice guys of Clan Naga Sadow. As well as that he's resisted the temptation many senior Equites and former Summit members seem to fall into of becoming complacent and inactive, he keeps entering competitions and winning crescents and gaming and clocking up more and more CFs, and before returning to the summit he was an active member of Sapphire Squadron helping out the Commander encourage activity amongst the battleteam. Since he became Pro-Consul he's been talking to other Summit members and Envoys finding out what they're doing and taking an interest and making sure he has a good knowledge of what is happening in the clan needed to perform well in his position. However it was during the recent Feud that Manesh came into his own. Not only was he regularly writing reports and sending emails encouraging activity in the events, he lead by example by showing an amazing level of participation wherever he could, eventually scoring well over 300 points, far more than the second and third highest scoring participants combined, an amazing performance that was a major contribution to Naga Sadows victory. Therefore I believe that Warlord Manesh Sadow has more than earned the rank of Dark Adept and to become an Elder.

Malisane de Ath, Aedile.

--

Manesh is a great and competent leader who always seems to act with modesty and understanding toward his fellow DJB members. His actions, weather wining points or the spurring on of activity from his clan mates, during the recent feud propelled the clan to first place.

These things alone speak a thousand words of his character and his drive for the clan to be the best. Always willing to listen to others points of view or lend a hand where needed, Manesh is one of the best loved members of CNS. If anyone deserves to be promoted to DA it is him. For these reasons I wholeheartedly recommend that he be promoted.

DJK Eldrad Sin.

Ever since I joined the Dark Brotherhood Manesh has been constantly active. Through his massive ability Clan Naga Sadow, House Ludo Kressh and Sapphire Squadron have achieved victory or high placing in a number of events. Manesh maintains a high IRC presence. On a couple of occasions I have accessed the DB’s JA server to find Manesh training other members who have only recently started playing the Game or who have only recently started playing other DB members. When Manesh took on the role of Proconsul he immediately seem the right person. His friendliness and dedication which made so many feel welcome in Sapphire Squadron will help many new members feel part of the Clan. Since taking the position Manesh still keeps his previous level of activity as well as fulfilling the extra duties and tasks he now has to complete. I have no hesitation in recommending Manesh for promotion to the rank of Dark Side Adept.

Knight Acara Rayden Mandalore

I think Manesh needs to be promoted to DA. He is an excellent PCON and has done so much for the DB and for CNS. He spends a lot of time making sure no one is overlooked and everyone is having a good time. I also enjoy talking and laughing with him on IRC and know I can take any questions or concerns to him at any time. He hasn't had a promotion for over 2 years and I think it's way overdue, even though he just got PCON.

DJK Ashia Kagan

--

I've known Manesh since I joined the Dark Brotherhood almost six years ago when he was my Quaestor. In that time he's never cared much about getting medals or promotions, every single second he puts into his house or clan he does so the members can have fun. In my eyes that is what makes him more than worthy for this promotion because it's what's made him perhaps the greatest leader I've had.

So congratulations from me, Manesh.

Sith Warlord Malik Sadow

Manesh is the best. I have known him since I first arrived in Clan Naga Sadow. His work behind the scenes, compilation of history, and utter domination of gaming and large scale competitions speak loudly. In fact, the highest scorer in the recent Clan Feud was- Manesh, of course. When I was his QUA, he earned so many clusters of fire that it was insane. I had to leave "Manesh- CF (x whatever)" in all of my reports as a given. The guy has a long history in our Clan, and has held multiple leadership spots. I find him to be a good PCON- sensible, concerned, motivated, and easy to talk to. It is a pleasure having him around. He deserves to be an Adept, given his long term commitment to CNS.

SBM Mononoke Macron Keibatsu-Goura

-- Since I joined Naga Sadow, Manesh has always been nudging me towards clan activities. He has put the DB life ahead of his own life, at times, and it was through his push towards victory that we won the Clan Feuds. He has been a MAJOR inspiration to me. He is kind, honest, and rewarding of the deeds of others. He doesn't look past them, but straight at them. He acknowledges as many as he can and takes people's concerns into mind. He maintains communication with everyone and gives everyone the second chance they deserve. Serving under him has been a real treat for me and I'm glad we have guys like him in positions such as his. It makes the club that much more fun and that much worth joining. I believe that Manesh Sadow deserves Dark Adept for all these reasons, and so much more.

Shikyo "Rurouni" Keibatsu

Warlord Manesh Sadow ever since has remained an active member ever since. He is a very valuated member of this clan. He is often online on irc and a very interesting and nice partner for conversations. Before he stepped up as a Proconsul he was in the Sapphire squadron, acting as a role model with his huge amount of activity. He earned and still earns dozens of Crescents and Cluster of Fires, taking also part in graphic competitions, doing several shadow academy courses (about 4 of them, including some of the harder courses) and winning with an impressive score the magical mysterious Math Trivia. I usually track how many CFs a person gets, but sometimes I wrote in my activity list: "Dozens of CFs" to not burst the database.

Now as the proconsul he is showing qualities that someone of this position should have. During the feud he encouraged many people to participate with his reports and with also scoring the most points of this clan. And still he earns Cluster of Fires. He is keeping in touch with the people of the clan, also the journeymen. In the conclave we briefly discussed how to award Manesh Sadow, and very quickly we came to the conclusion that the new rank of a Dark Side Adept is the most appropriate award for him.

Sildrin, Xia Long, Quaestor of Ludo Kresh

-- From since I joined the Clan, Manesh has never been anything but the most helpful and friendly person you could hope to meet. He's always willing to help me out with any problem I have, and usually, thanks to his help, I'll solve it. With him becoming PCON, he hasn't stopped encouraging or aiding people at all. During the feud, he was the driving force behind the CNS effort, scoring the most points as well as constantly encouraging others to participate in his weekly report. He's funny, smart, good at his job and I believe he more than deserves this promotion. - DJK Xayun Erinos

"For as long as I've known him, Manesh has done everything he could to motivate the clan to participate in competitions and to have fun with the games and writing events. Manesh has been a highly motivating PCON helping to lead our clan to victory in the recent feud. To my knowledge, this is the first feud in a long time that we won, we've always gotten 2nd or 3rd or even worse. I know for a fact that I probably wouldn't have participated as much as I did if Manesh hadn't motivated me to do so. He's a shining example of what a clan leader should be and a promotion to DA is well earned."

J`Rai Sadow, Aedile

-- This is the most easy recommendation to do, its not hard for me too think up nice things too say about Manesh, he’s a great, dedicated guy. I've seen a few Pro Consuls come and go in Naga Sadow, but none have been as dedicated as I’ve seen Manesh be since he's taken the position. He loves his position, he always sends out reports - and not because its his job, but because he enjoys what he’s doing. He encouraged all of Naga Sadow to participate in the recent Clan Feud, in which he put a lot of effort himself (He had the highest amount of points in the Clan), on top of his duty's as Pro Consul. His dedication and effort towards the Clan, and the Dark Brotherhood as a whole have well earned him a promotion. :-)

-Morg

-- Manesh is one of those members you wish we had more of, being in a position such as PCON takes a level of dedication and determination that few possess however he has these qualities in considerable abundance. During the course of the Clan Feud he has taken a prominent role in leading the Clan through this colossus event. Not only 'nagging' us, encouraging us and informing us but also putting in the time and effort personally for the greater good of the Clan. I believe he was a key part of the Clans victory in the feud and this alone deserves great praise. However when you taken into account his ability to organize, to communicate with the membership and create an atmosphere that long established and newer members alike can enjoy and prosper in, you should reward accordingly. I salute you Manesh, and I hope that you continue to serve for a very long time to come. Godo

Of all my time in the Brotherhood, I can say that I have not met a more dedicated and caring person than Manesh. Manesh is always around to help, and the main thing, he is always willing to help. He cares for his clan, and is always there to encourage and support others. Whichever position Manesh holds, he puts his heart and soul into and and makes sure he does the best job he can. Over his past reign as a Proconsul, Manesh has made Naga Sadow the best clan it could possibly be. Always friendly and caring, Manesh made sure there is peace in the clan. When he was needed to clear some conflict or to help someone new adjust to the clan, he was always there. I believe this promotion is way overdue. Manesh has stuck with this clan through the good times, as well as the bad. He helped the clan get back on its feet many times before, making the experience of being in CNS a lot more fun for everyone. The difference he made in the clan is immense, and I am proud to recommend him for the promotion to Dark Side Adept. Congratulations, Adept!

Though Manesh is my Proconsul for not a very long time I have known Manesh since I first set foot here in this club. I have known him through JA and he has been an awesome player to begin with. He knows teamplay, shows spirit and a vast leadership. Though he may have his accasional breakdowns during the GJW, he keeps doing what he does best, being not only a leader, but also a friend. Manesh, keep it up!

Over the years Manesh has proven to be an indispencible member of CNS. He has proven a great leader, triffic role model, and unserpased meadiator. He always gives the clan hope, and pushes them to do their best, every gaming night he is there telling everyone he can to play. He leads by example, always running full speed, always putting the clan first. He helps solve every problem that takes place in the clan, he sees everything from an objective view. Manesh has always been and will always be an admired figure in CNS he has proven him self time and time again. I beleive that Manesh is most deserving of this rank, and he will wear it well.

For the last three years I've been in Clan Naga Sadow, Manesh Sadow has been what a good clan member should be. During my time with this Clan, there have been few people who have shown a strength of leadership as consistantly as Manesh has. He has an ability to take himself out of a situation, and look at it in the most unbiased way. It is because of this, that I have never see him stray from the path of a good leader. Even in times of disagreement, and despite his personal feelings on a given situation, Manesh will give a fair assesment and ensure that personal feelings are kept out of the situation. That is something that is rare within the Brotherhood, and within the Clan.

I believe that Manesh will be an ideal candidate to follow Korras, and I believe he is capable of continuing the great trends that Xanos started. His overall leadership style, his relationship with the clan, and his ability to get things done will usher in a great time for Naga Sadow.

Congratz Manesh, and don't have a heart attack! :)

When Anshar moved to HM and Spears took over Tarentum Consul, we knew that he wasn't going to stay forever. Spears wanted to get things moving and hand the reigns over to fresh blood. But, Spears left us sooner than we thought and those reigns had to be transferred sooner than we thought.

Tarentum and the Brotherhood were fortunate that Welshman was ready and willing to take the lead in Tarentum. Consul is not an easy job to get thrown into, but Welsh has done fantastic work at stepping up to the challenge. He is an active Consul that does his job well both within the Clan and the Dark Council. In a short time he has earned the respect of both regular members and leaders alike. He has started down the path of being the next in line of the great Tarentum Consuls

Welsh has a good head on his shoulders. When he speaks, people listen. He has managed to get a lot of things moving, and get a lot of people motivated to work. On the Dark Council, too, he has contributed as I would like to see from everyone.

Welsh is the stable leader that I like to see at Consul. He is making great strides within the clan and fully deserves recognition for his hard work.

Thanks for all you do, Welsh. Jac

I’ve been told that following my tenure as Consul was not an easy thing to do. But I believe that every Consul who has served Tarentum since I resigned has been of benefit to the Clan. Welshman has not only been an asset as a Consul, but he has served the Clan faithfully in several other positions. Welshman is one of those leaders who fills two positions; he is both an active leader and an active member.

In the time since his last promotion about ten months ago, Welshman has served this Clan faithfully. He has served Gladius as Quaestor, taking the reigns after helping to guide the House as its Aedile. Welshman was then tapped to serve as Proconsul under both Anshar Kahn Tarentae and then Spears Tarentae, two excellent Consuls of this Clan. Welshman learned much during his time assisting those two men, I think, because he has been able to step up now as Consul without hesitation, and without error.

Within this Great Jedi War, he has been able to help motivate people, and help guide the actions of our Clan. He has been working hard to guide things along within the Clan run-on, as well as in our other efforts of this War. Though this has not been a War that motivates people on its own, Welshman has been that guiding, directing hand that helps to ensure Tarentum is an active Clan.

Welshman is also not afraid to ask for help. He has come to me at times asking for advice, or suggestions upon courses of action. I recognize that I am not more qualified than Welshman is; I’ve just been there before. I have been able to offer some insight into things, but Welshman takes whatever advice and encouragement he needs, and then is able to dictate his own solution to the success of Tarentum. He may often wonder if he is a good leader, but I can honestly say that there is no one else who could lead the Clan at this time.

I have seen Welshman enter this Clan and grow within it. When he came to the Brotherhood, he was an energetic, enthusiastic member. He has not only grown as a member, but grown as a man in the time with us. I think that this Clan and the members in it have helped to cultivate him within his life. His sense of humor has never wavered, and he is a sense of cheerfulness and entertainment for others. He spends as much time as possible working to assist the members, and to give them at least one friend within the Clan as soon as they come to us.

He has also worked to rework, or restart programs that have slipped into obscurity. Several programs were started during my tenure as Consul, such as the grants and titles programs, and Welshman is looking to restart and rework those programs to the benefit of Tarentum. It says much for him that he is able to build upon the work of his predecessors, but still maintain the feel that they have had, and the entertainment value that members have put into them.

Welshman has also been a voice of influence and moderation. Tarentum is not always an easy Clan to lead. I have said it before, and I maintain my sentiments, that Tarentum is very much like a powder keg. We have very dedicated, very powerful individuals within this Clan, and without the right moderating influence at Consul, that powder keg may often explode. It is the responsibility of the Consul to direct that power into competitions and other tasks that benefit the Clan, and I can say with certainty that Welshman is able to direct the Clan so.

It has been some time since Welshman has been promoted, and he has remained active and faithful in that time. This is coming on the heels of the promotion to Adept for Doni Tzu Tarentae, and I find it fitting to compare the two. Donitz has been within this Club for ten years, and stands within a company of very few individuals. Welshman is one of those members that I can see coming to have the same tenure, and the same effect upon the Brotherhood that Donitz has had. I find Welshman worthy of promotion, and I congratulate him on his efforts thus far.

Welshman, you are a man that I consider both an ally and a friend. I thank you for all that you have done, and I look forward to seeing you continue on towards your own ten year mark. Congratulations, Consul.
