Drae'lath has been an exemplary member of Naga Sadow and has made excellent progress during his time in the Brotherhood. The recent War has delayed this promotion, which he was worthy of many weeks ago. I am glad to finally congratulate this outstanding student on his elevation to the rank of Hunter.

Well done, Hunter Drae.

Every now and then a member comes along that you can tell is cut from a different cloth. Erik is one of those members. Since his last promotion five months ago, Erik's activity has been beyond solid. Further, his reputation is so gleaming that when it came time to identify a new leader for the Disciples of Dakhan, Erik was the unanimous choice. He just exudes leadership qualities.

In the last five months Erik has competed in fourty-five competitions and placed in more than 22% of them, netting two Crescents with Ruby Star, one Crescent with Amethyst Star, six Crescents with Sapphire Star and a Crescent with Topaz Star.

Some members game, some members write, others do... other things? Well, Erik does all the things. Always willing to put up his dukes, Erik's thirty-two PvP matches brought in one-hundred-twenty-one Clusters of Fire. His quill is sharp, as well. Between nine fiction activities containing eight-thousand-fifty-one words and three run-on posts containing one-thousand-nine-hundred-twelve words, Erik brought in an excellent seventeen Clusters of Ice. The quill can be used for drawing too, apparently, because Erik also brought in six Clusters of Graphite.

The Equite class is generally the tier in which members of the Brotherhood are primed and ready for leadership, and a true leader leads from the front lines. Erik demonstrated his capability to lead by taking the helm of the Disciples of Dakhan at effectively the last minute before the Great Jedi War and not only lead the battle team to great activity in the War, but participated in eleven events himself to bring in the commensurate eleven Seals of Wrath in addition to an introductory report.

Behind the scenes, Erik is a solid team player in the House Summit. His conversations with Jurdan and I on Telegram are extremely effective and efficient and I consider them integral to the success of the House in its current state. The Disciples of Dakhan is one of the most important projects in the House and I am very comfortable having Erik as one of the champions of that project.

His solid activity lead me to recommend a Dark Cross a little more than three months ago and that seemed to light an even larger fire under Erik's tail. Beyond that, he has truly taken to his leadership role. Erik's momentum is excellent and he's absolutely on the upward curve of a fantastically successful career in the Brotherhood.

It is an absolute pleasure to have this outstanding member in the House and I am beyond convinced of his worthiness to enter the Equites. Congratulations Erik, you've made us all very proud.

Aul Celsus, 2017-12-13 00:44:17 UTC
Additional reasons

The Equites are not for the light of heart. Erik has truly stepped up his game and shown his mettle in the face of the enemy. He has proven over and over how active he is. When Aul and I were looking for someone to succeed Lilith he was definitely my first pick and Aul Agreed. Erik my man, just like Aul I consider you like a true brother here in the brotherhood. We can have a good time and carry silly conversations when we are trying to make things better for each other. Our HSD council chat is always a lot of fun with you.

Congrats on the promotion brother!

Tribune Kanal O'neill, 2017-12-11 00:40:34 UTC

Erik stepped up to the plate during GJW XII and led the Disciples of Dakhan well when Lilith went awol due to rl difficulties. His team saw excellent activity and participation levels, with 6 out of 7 members participating. His activity has seen him warrant a promotion to the first tier of the Equites.

Anything additional to the recs provided by Aul and Jurdan would be fluff. However, Erik has shown he has what it takes to stand with the big boys and will continue to be a valued member of Naga Sadow.

Thank you for your service and congratulations on your promotion to Warrior!

Juliana Kelrune has been a member of Arcona for two and a half years now. Through tumultuous times, she has persevered. We gather today to recognize her, and to honor an achievement she has long thirsted for. An achievement she wholeheartedly deserves.

Juli was promoted to Hunter eight months ago. During that time, she has participated in a dozen competitions, earning four Clusters of Fire, eight Clusters of Graphite and a Cluster of Ice in the process. In the most recent Great Jedi War, she earned five Seals of Wrath for the five Bins in which she participated. She has also passed ten Shadow Academy courses in the process. Most recently, she was awarded a Dark Cross for her continuing contributions for Battleteam, House and Clan. We couldn't be more proud of her.

In addition to her personal activity, she's a fixture in Arcona's social communities. She's vibrant, fiery, and friendly. Over the past months, I've had the pleasure of seeing her grow and blossom, making new friends that I have little doubt will last her entire Brotherhood career.

Juli: though life might occasionally pull you away, I know your loyalty and dedication to Arcona has never flagged. It is my sincerest honor to recommend your elevation to Knight. Congratulations. You did it!

Additional reasons

I don't honestly have words here to do justice to how much this promotion means; one of these recommendations isn't the place for such details, either. I literally cannot express the magnitude of the effort, personal tribulation, devastations, joys, pains, growth, and perseverance that has gone into this step forward today, right here, right now. Luckily, Julie herself knows better than anyone what this means, and it's my honor today as her Master to instead tell anyone who reads this a piece of why and how she has earned the title of Knight.

Julie has done far more in her time than the tasks listed above - though important and worthy in their own right - can quantify. She has spent the last months and years evolving as a member of Arcona, of the Brotherhood, and as a person. She has come from a vagrant Novitiate to a well-known, well-recognized, and well-loved and respected part of her community. She's constantly present in both her Clan and House Telegram chats and in wider DB-chats, especially Fiction Chat, where's she's a frequent voice for discussion on all manner of topics and pays detailed attention to other members, their concerns, and their characters, engaging with all her brothers and sisters in Sithy darkness regardless of clan. Julie also acts as a sort of extension of and aid to the Summit where and when she's able, always the first one forwarding relevant newsposts or announcements, looking up answers for members' questions or linking a particular report she bookmarked for frequently asked questions, and advising new and veteran members alike. Additionally, she's always offering to help in any other way she can, and has personally helped me with several of my reports in gathering and formatting competition information or news sections and asking questions to reply to. She's shown willingness to volunteer for leadership at any level if the need was required, even without prior experience and even knowing the job may be stressful; her only repeated wish has been to be able to help others, to be able to give back to her clan. Her selfless spirit is evident in everything she does, and it's that spirit that we have seen truly come to shine in these last months, more than anything else. There's no such thing as a painless lesson, but Julie has taken hers and turned them into the ability and desire to improve her community and those around her, and I trust that she will go on - and on, and on - to do far more, long after Knighthood.

For now, though, my bestprentice...for now, we say thank you, welcome to the ranks, and congratulations.

Consul of Clan Arcona

Master Ruka Tenbriss Ya-ir, 2017-12-12 03:31:07 UTC

Juliana Kelrune had once told me that helping out her clan is what she strives to do, and she is open to whatever she can to make that happen. Her efforts before now had shown that, helping with wiki articles, aiding her master with gathering links for reports, sharing information to her teammates. I have seen her step up multiple times to a challenge or just in general as a leader among her peers, hearing word of how much she tried to organize her Journeymen RO group awhile back and more. She's helped co-organize competitions for Arcona back in February. This Echani has a fighting spirit, holding on and reluctantly refusing to let go of the club no matter the adversities she faces outside of it. She’s fierce and determined, friendly and welcoming, speaks her mind and leaves her passion open to all. I would like to think that Juli has reminded us the importance of the second half of our mind, the one that feels. It is truly a wonderful thing to have and be bold with.

It has been a long time coming, but entirely worth it. Juliana Kelrune, I am pleased to support your promotion to Knight. Congratulations, Bestsisprentince! I look forward to watching your flame grow and where that light takes you!

Zeline Nemesis, one of our best journeyman in the war, has been a busy person. Since the last promotion at least 21 days ago, she has participated in 10 competitions, passed the Leadership Management SA course, wrote 1000 words of character fiction, co-organized 1 competition, and joined the Clan in our many chat mediums. During this time, she had earned Shadow Academy Society Rank 3, earned 10 clusters of graphite, and earned a Dark Cross for her GJW efforts! The fact that a lot of this came during the war itself was impressive and showed her dedication to the Clan in a way few achieved in pure participation alone.

I am extremely proud of Zeline Nemesis and honored to recommend that she be promoted to the rank of Padawan. Congratulations and great work! I can't wait to see what you get up to as Knight! :)

Lucifer is one of the amazing members of Tarentum that I get to interact with on a regular basis. As a person, he’s engaging to talk to. He cares about Tarentum. He wants this Clan to succeed. In the GJW, he tried to exhibit that dedication and conviction, and participated in six different events.

Beyond that, in going over his promotion assessment -- since his last promotion, he has organized or co-organized 13 different events, and participated in 63 total events. He has earned 312 medals, with a Steel Cross high, and was attempting to enthusiastically serve as a Team Leader for three months, until the decision was made to close them. The closure of the Team in Lucifer’s case was not due to an unengaging, apathetic leader, but simply that we wanted to try and focus on smaller groups, and getting the Houses engaged, bound and moving forward into the Great Jedi War. Lucifer took that assignment and still tried to run with it. He didn’t back down, he didn’t stop being active.

We have had the benefit of Lucifer being mentored by Korras (Darth Aeternus), and it shows. Lucifer’s attitude is welcoming, friendly, and enthusiastic. He provides a level of friendship and cordiality to Tarentum that, in the past, others have certainly stamped out. In addition to his good attitude, he’s also played in 21 PvE matches, and four different fiction activities with nearly 500 words, and three different run-on posts for close to 1,000 words. In this, Lucifer exhibits to all of Tarentum that it doesn’t take a monumental amount of effort. It just takes a little energy, dedication, and Tarentum can be that great Clan. We all ought to follow his example.

Congratulations, Lucifer. I appreciate your friendship and dedication. Tarentum loves you, pally.
