Fadas has completed her training in a most satisfactory manner. Since her last promotion she's fulfilled all the requirements for elevation. In addition she has co-organized 1 competition, participated in 55 competitions, completed a PvP match, earned herself several crescents(1 ruby, 3 amethyst, 9 sapphire, 4 emerald, 3 topaz), gotten several clusters(3 fire, 10 earth, 12 graphite), and earned 2 seals of wrath.

As my last official act as Rollmaster of Tarentum it is my honor to complete her training and bestow the rank of Knight upon her. Congrats, Fadas! You've come a long way and just took your first step into a much bigger world.

Silent does EVERYTHING. Silent has been doing everything for a long time. Years in fact. I almost want to stop writing there, not because I can't write anymore, but because the truth of Silent's continued levels of activity for Plagueis are so self evident that it almost needs no other supporting evidence. He has been the constant beacon of activity that Plagueis has looked up to, the ever present cheerleader that has pushed everyone around him to be the best version of themselves as far as activity goes.

Since his last promotion in 2006, the site tracks Silent as having participated in 293 total competitions, and only 18 of those competitions have been containers. Now, there's something in that last sentence that is important: the site tracks. Push his activity tracking date up to November of 2012 (right before the Horizons vendetta) and the site tracks that Silent has participated in… 293 competitions. That means he's probably got a few hundred more that never made it into the site tracker because they're so old. In that time, he's earned 7 Novae (5 Gold, 1 Silver, and 1 Bronze) and 32 Crescents (2 Ruby, 10 Amethyst, 8 Sapphire, 9 Emerald, 2 Topaz, and 1 Quartz). As a gamer, it's 8 Pedants of Blood, 205 Clusters of Fire, and 205 Clusters of Earth from 42 reported PvP matches and 27 PvE activities (and who knows how many more before the site tracked such things). He has completed 3 matches in the (new) ACC, 36 fiction activities (13,254 words), and 3 tracked RO posts (1,121 words) while earning 54 Clusters of Ice. Graphics? 23 Clusters of Graphite. Vendetta Seals? 6 Seals of Affliction, 13 Seals of Reminiscence, 32 Seals of the Crusader, 4 Seals of Revelation, and 12 Seals of Wrath. Oh, and in case he didn't have enough seals already, he's been awarded the Seal of Loyalty 3 times. He's even passed 14 SA courses (just to make sure that he's not missing anything).

He's been an invaluable part of Plagueis's Clan events and Vendettas. He is one of the few members to consistently participate in all (or damn near all) competitions in each of our Clan events. He was one of only a handful of members Brotherhood-wide to enter more than 30 total events during the Dark Crusade. He's served Plaguies as a Battleteam Leader and made much needed contributions to the Clan's leadership. He's hosted 8 competitions. Overall since his last promotion, he's earned a Dark Cross, 2 Anteian Crosses, 3 Steel Crosses, a Grand Cross, and his Sapphire Blade. Some people might do a bit of everything. Silent does a LOT of everything. Plagueis wouldn't be the same without him, and while Warlord Silent will take some getting used to (Hey, we're so used to that rank being Battlelord, it's like a universal constant!), the time has well come to see Silent elevated to the last and greatest of the Equite ranks. Congratulations!

Additional reasons

Silent has become an unofficial mentor to many members of Plagueis, always willing to impart advice or offer encouragement, he is there to help make the clan the best it can be in anyway possible. He is the definition of lead by example not just participating in competitions himself but getting others excited to do so as well, making that push to make each event and competition no matter how big or small that much more memorable for all.

Though it has been a long road for Silent, he has worked hard to become a model member and deserves all the recognition he receives. Congratulations Silent, it is a promotion well earned. I look forward to the future.

TuQ’uan Varick di Plagia, 2017-12-18 05:00:34 UTC

I have known Silent since my earliest days in the Dark Brotherhood. Back when I was new to everything, he was always quick to help and has stayed true to this. From time to time, I see someone asking questions of the clan in the telegram chat and Silent’s name always pops up with words of advice. When the call to action is issued, Silent’s words of encouragement to others coupled with his high level of activity demonstrate what it is to be a man of action and one of Plagueis’ most dependable members. It’s been a long road, but I can’t see a more fitting reward for one of Plagueis’ oldest and most dedicated members. Great job, Silent!

Azmodius Equesinfernum, 2017-12-18 05:01:33 UTC

Having ‘grown up’ in the Plagueis with Silent being around, one thing I noticed is he’s never shy to express himself, whether it be a personal opinion or a desire for others to do things, Silent has at times been a leader with a position. Now it is incredibly easy to talk the talk, however Silent insists on walking the walk as the numbers demonstrated by Slagar show. I’ve always known what I’m going to get with Silent, a hard working member who’s always willing to contribute. Whether it was participation in events or even something as simple as asking questions for a report, Silent’s commitment to Plagueis cannot be doubted. Good job Silent, I know it’s been a long time to get here, but from what I’ve seen these past few years, it’s well deserved.

Dr. Giyana Jurro, 2017-12-18 05:02:06 UTC

This has been a long time coming for Silent and I’m glad he’s finally getting a promotion he’s done more than earn. His hard work and dedication to the clan may not have been constant, but it has been worthy of admiration. He’s always been there when we needed him and for that alone, I’m proud to see him get this long awaited honor. Good work sir!

Grand Inquisitor Arden Karn di Plagia, 2017-12-18 05:03:05 UTC

Always a reliable presence within Clan Plagueis, Silent is more than deserving of the honor bestowed to him. Whether leading by example and competing numerous competitions and/or proactively inspiring members to remain engaged and focused during peak event season, he continues to be a force to be reckoned with. Congratulations, Silent, and keep up the excellent work.

, 2017-12-18 05:04:07 UTC

Consistency is hard. Months and years of consistency are not merely very hard, but extremely difficult. What does one say about the person who has demonstrated consistency over nearly a decade? In keeping with tradition of only reflecting on activity since the last transfer, Silent has been an active and dedicated member of Clan Plagueis since his return from the Rogues on December 3rd, 2011.

He's participated in 285 competitions since then, and generated an impressive array of awards. His Sapphire Blade recommendation speaks to many of the specific numbers, but its the intangible part of Silent's participation that matters most.

Having served as Quaestor for over two years, I can personally speak to Silent's dedication to his unit. He's the first person to be excited for even mundane competitions, and is always eager to not only submit, but encourages others to do so. When we began to revamp then House Plagueis away from my predecessor's obsession the separation of members into different branches like the contemporary military, Silent was one of the few members who jumped into the project with both feet. Along with Unus Domus and Furios, he was one of a handful of members who helped demonstrate that the new structure was more interesting to members personal fictional story lines and their investment within the unit storyline as a whole.

Later on, he would rise to become a Battleteam leader and contribute his expertise as a direct mentor to the newer members, showcasing his drive to do more with the membership, while maintaining his competition submissions. Even as a leader, he continued to show that the core of being a member remained contributing to the success of the unit through consistent participation.

He is arguably the most active member of the unit at this time. He demonstrates enthusiasm for the day to day of the Brotherhood and the Clan, not just the intermittent competitions and their particular storylines. He is always there to encourage others, to do their best and to find time to participate, and then leads by example. It is rare to find a member like Silent who has demonstrated over time the kind of consistency that proves his dedication to his unit.

More than once, Silent's participation has been the measure that made the difference in unit based scoring. In multiple House vs House competitions, and even in some larger multi-unit feuds, his consistent ability to submit quality entries across the board have ensured the success of not only himself, but his House and his Unit.

While Silent has not served in a leadership capacity in sometime, one could argue, as I have previously, that this kind of example is a form of leadership. It serves to inspire, to encourage, to set the example of what is possible with dedication and devotion. That is rare indeed.

This kind of quiet leadership is often overlooked in place of those who lead units in titular positions It is often overlooked in place of those who consistently place first and bring home high value awards. It is often overlooked in the face of those who devote other forms of service to the unit and the Brotherhood. It should not be.

Silent has toiled tirelessly for his unit without hope of a promotion for many long years, having been well aware that multiple iterations of Master at Arms would not promote someone to Equite 4 without titular time in service. He does it without concern for long term advancement or elevation, and does it for the love of his Clan and his Clanmates. It is long past time that his service to his unit be recognized.

I hereby and forthwith recommend Battlelord Silent for Elevation to Equite 4 for his long and peerless consistency of service to Plagueis.

Congratulation Silent, you've earned it!

TuQ’uan has been invaluable member of Plagueis of late as both a beacon of activity as well as a good example for our younger members. In the past 5 months, TuQ has participated in an extraordinary 51 competitions. Seventeen of these were in the recent Great Jedi War, and he was one of only three members of Plagueis to enter at least one in each “bin” of the event to achieve 100% participation for his unit. Another 25 of these were in the recent Plagueis Pro Bowl event. Out of these events he’s earned a grand total of 7 crescents, representing both quality of work and quantity. Beyond his event activity, TuQ has earned 137 Clusters of Fire, 25 Clusters of Ice, 1 Cluster of Earth and 8 Clusters of Graphite. He’s also been hard at work in the Shadow Academy in this period earning a grand total of 5 degrees, including a Dark Sage in History and Lore.

Just as important as TuQ’uan’s activity level has been his contributions to the Clan as a leader. For the past 5 months and until very recently, TuQ’uan served as the Battleteam Leader of the Circle. In truth though, TuQ was my right hand during this period. He took point on contacting our newest members and keeping them on track as they rose through the ranks. Beyond this, he frequently made insightful contributions to reports to help keep folks up to date on goings on in the Circle. He’s recently made the transition to Aedile and I wish him all the well in that position. Equally as impressive has been his work as a Magistrate to the Voice for the past 3 months, a position I personally know the rigors of.

For all the reasons above, I’d like to welcome TuQ’uan to the ranks of the Equites!

Since Kromtal was last promoted nine months ago, he has continued to serve faithfully as an adviser and assistant to the Clan Summit and myself as Rollmaster. He attempts to make regular contact with every new join, not only through the automated email system, but over Telegram and email contact as much as possible. Most recently, he has been in communication with Mordred/Joe Durham, but has also been working on contacting and reactivating Cordin Siprus, Fadas, T’Calla, Karus and Dain Caithis, as well as every other below-DJK member we have (14 total at the moment). He knows that new members are the lifeblood of this Club and Clan, and he is working daily on trying to improve our retention and ignition of new members. He wants to get the Club fire into them!

Additionally, as a leader in Tarentum, he has organized or co-organized 16 events, participated in a total of 28 events, with his most recent being two GJW events, despite having a family emergency that limited his ability to compete. He was still able to show up and help at the GJW, like several others in the Clan, where others did not. Whether in a crisis or not, Kromtal shows up ready to play. Additionally, he has earned 82 medals with an Anteian Cross high, written over 3,300 words of fiction and played eight PvE games, passed four Shadow Academy courses and gained two degrees, and has tried to show how the aging position of Rollmaster can still have purpose and use in the modern Brotherhood today.

Kromtal and I have been friends for years, and I can honestly say, he hates to feel as though he is failing me as a friend and assistant. He is dedicated to Tarentum, and regularly emphasizes his commitment and apologizes for “not being more.” And yet, the reality is, he shows up and is an example of how, even when you don’t have an exorbitant amount of time, the adult members of Tarentum can still actually do something. He is an example to others, and a vast help to me in making sure that our leadership team provides a great example to this Clan. Kromtal is regularly present on Telegram, actively takes part in not only our Clan channel, but our various leadership channels and weekly training meetings, and makes himself available to new members and our House Summits alike in trying to cultivate activity and longevity out of our random joins.

Kromtal has been a dedicated team member, and I believe he has exhibited the tenacity and commitment to leadership to warrant this recognition. Congratulations, pally.

It's time to recognise a key member of the CNS Summit and I'm pleased to be able to write this rec for Jurdan.

Since his last promotion back in August 2016, Jurdan has served 7 months as Battleteam Leader of Shadow Guard in Scholae Palatinae, before coming to us in Naga Sadow to serve as Aedile of House Shar Dakhan.

His time spent in the position has seen him run a Clan event, provide reports, support and encourage members to participate in competitions and the recent Great Jedi War. Jurdan has organised 12 competitions, while also co-organising a further 6. Added to that, Jurdan has participated in a total of 203 competitions and placing in 45 of them!

Jurdan has received a variety of crescents, and has also kicked butt in gaming, earning 1756 Clusters of Fire, 709 Clusters of Earth and 2 Pendants of Blood, having competed in 179 PVP matches and 171 PVE matches.

He has also earned 70 Clusters of Graphite and 48 Clusters of Ice, while writing almost 18,000 words across fictions and ROs.

Jurdan led from the front during the 12th GJW, completing 27 out of 28 competitions, being unable to compete in ACC Phase 2. He encouraged his fellow Clanmates to compete and teamed up with several of them to get entries into the team events.

For his service as a leader, Jurdan has earned a Grand Cross and 2 Steel Crosses.

Add to this the 3 courses he's completed in the Shadow Academy, the 1 Legion of Scholar and the 1 Scroll of the Master for mentoring Reiyden Rosenau to the rank of Knight and you can see a picture of why Jurdan deserves the rank of Battlelord.

His dedication to his job, his eagerness to get people to play games with him and the constant attempts to get people to participate and enjoy their time in Naga Sadow have seen Jurdan become a valuable member of my Summit.

Jurdan came to us under a cloud of controversy. He has since dispelled that and has shown why Aexod made the right decision in hiring him. I can rely on Jurdan to get the job done when given to him and has shown great improvement in his team play and sense of fair play. Jurdan has become an example of what one can do when they take the chances given to them to the max.

Congratulations on your promotion to Battlelord, Jurdan.

Consul of Naga Sadow

Professor Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, 2017-12-16 07:53:36 UTC
Additional reasons

Much has been said about Jurdan's qualifications for elevation to EQ3, which he clearly has in spades, but I want to focus on one in particular.

When it comes to the Brotherhood and his duties as Aedile, Jurdan is selfless. He works tirelessly and with a great deal of initiative to make sure he does everything he can to succeed in his role as my Aedile. I could not ask for a better second in command, and I would be remiss to acknowledge that if I've done anything right as Quaestor so far, it's at least in part because I have Jurdan beside me.

To get into some specifics, because why not, Jurdan has been crucial in helping to implement my vision for the Disciples of Dakhan. In fact, we began discussing it while we were both candidates for the position I ultimately won (though the reverse would have been great too). He has provided thoughtful feedback and put in significant effort in the generation of the framework that has become the current Disciples of Dakhan. This will, I hope, become the primary legacy that I leave behind from my tenure as Quaestor, but I would be lying if I said that I did not get any help from my fantastic Aedile.

To my mind, EQ3 is the level at which the rank extends beyond the accomplishments of the member themself, and instead reflects more the position that the member plays in the Brotherhood at large. Jurdan has been and continues to consistently display the qualities of an ideal member of Naga Sadow and the Brotherhood, and I would gladly serve under this outstanding member at any time should (when) he eventually rises to great positions. He has been the very definition of a role model to everyone in the House and Clan.

Congratulations, Jurdan.

Aul Celsus, 2017-12-16 05:37:03 UTC

In the time since he has come to Clan Naga Sadow, Jurdan has worked hard to dispel any misgivings that people may have had when he first joined our number. In the time he has served as an Aedile in particular, he has proven his worth as a leader with his helpful attitudes, running a number of gaming competitions and continued to cheer on his fellows. Working personally beside him in the War, I cannot help but admire the effort and thought that he puts into all the things he does for Clan and Brotherhood. Working with Aul, he has also hosted events like the Pirates of Aeotheran, which saw about a quarter of our Clan take part. More recently, his drive to get as many events as possible done, and with the number of discussions we held about our team War entries, I have come to realize one big thing.

Jurdan has a heart for his people. He enjoys what he does, but he does not seem as focused on his own success. Now, he does have like a- what- 20 to 22% participation to shiny average which is nothing to shake a stick at, but his core focus is on taking part and encouraging others. Which, if you ask me, is good stuff. The man has a leader's heart, and I look forward to seeing what else he gets up to in the coming months. I am glad to add my voice in recommending that Jurdan Krennel be lifted to the ranks of the 3rd grade Equites.

I will be watching his progress with great interests. Congratulations, Battlelord!

Bentre Stahoes, 2017-12-16 03:04:15 UTC

Jurdan Krennel has been an extremely influential member to his peers, myself included. As mentioned by others, the Pirates of Aeotheran competitions were a big success and a clan favourite. In terms of gaming, he is always inviting members to play across a variety of platforms and possesses a vast wealth of knowledge on the subject. In terms of fiction writing, he has been an excellent mentor. Most recently I witnessed him in action during the GJW run-on. He was available every single day, keeping realism in check and offering fresh ideas to the group.

As a mentor Jurdan has proven to be a great asset to those interested in future leadership opportunities as well. Without his encouragement and confidence in me I’m not sure if I would have taken the role as battleleader to the Disciples of Dakhan. Since accepting the position he has had to endure a great number of questions and I greatly value all the feedback he provided to me and the other “newbies” since joining the DJB.

Congratulations on your well deserved promotion Jurdan!

Primary reason

When I think on who my active members are, Kul’tak Drol is always one of the first members who come to mind. Since his promotion to Warrior at the beginning of the year, Kul has maintained himself as a steadily present member of Clan Plagueis, participating regularly in our clan and club-wide events. In last March’s The Enemy Below event, his consistent action as a competitor and regular support in driving activity during the event was invaluable. Drol provided entries to all 24 of the competitions in TEB, earning himself a 2nd and 3rd placement in individual competitions and an overall 10th place finish. He also participated in this year’s multi-clan event, the 2017 Plagueis/Taldryan Pro Bowl, representing his clan and house with 9 total entries. Lastly in the way of unit activity, Kul waved the clan colors in the largest event of the year, Great Jedi War XII, and participated in 6 competitions, earning 6 Seals of Wrath. Combined with the many stand alone competitions that he regularly entered this year, Kul’tak has participated in a total of 59, earning 2 Crescents with Amethyst Star, 4 Crescents with Sapphire Star, and a Crescent with Emerald Star.

Aside from his dedication to compete for Clan Plagueis, Kul’tak has shown himself to be a capable writer, finishing 3 separate battles in the Antei Combat Center, adding 3 well-written posts to the clan’s Manifest Destiny Run-On, and writing a total of 10,975 words, earning 36 Clusters of Ice for his efforts. His gaming has resulted in 4 PVP matches and 3 PVE submissions, netting 19 Clusters of Fire. His entries in graphic competitions this year have netted Kul 14 Clusters of Graphite. Additionally, his presence in Telegram makes the clan channel an enjoyable place and his efforts to provide his clanmates with guidance and advice. Drol has changed the clan chat for the better since joining and helped maintain a friendly and interactive social environment for his fellow Plagueians in this past year as well.

As a member of Clan Plagueis, Kul’tak Drol has been a wonderful asset. In past recognition of his value to his clan and the Brotherhood, he has earned two Anteian Crosses for his consistency and dedication as well as a Dark Cross for his project work on the Voice Staff. His desire to work for the betterment of his clan and the club as a whole is the kind of marker that really shows when a member is ready to continue advancing. On their own, each of Kul’s accomplishments this year mark his as a valued member and a hard worker. Together they equate a level of activity that I would only expect of someone of a higher rank. As such I can no longer watch him remain at the rank of Warrior and would be glad to recommend he be promoted to Battlemaster for his efforts. You deserve it, Kul. Congratulations!
