Maxi - Or Maaks, or Mks, or Myrji - joined the ranks of the Equites just over three years ago. Three years. That's almost an eternity in the Brotherhood. It's a true testament to his passion and tenacity that now, three years later, he continues to be active, participating in competitions, writing fiction and even gaming on occasion.
In the past three years, Maxi has participated in 114 competitions and organized 5 himself. Through those competitions, he has gained 38 Crescents (5 Rubies, 11 Amethyst, 10 Sapphire, 10 Emerald and 2 Topaz), an astonishing ratio of placements that speaks volumes to his talent. In that same period, he earned 3 Pendants of Blood, 227 Clusters of Fire and 675 Clusters of Earth over 68 PvP Activities and 29 Clusters of Ice over 6 Fiction Activities and 1 ACC Battle. He also acquired a Scroll of Indoctrination and passed 20 Shadow Academy Courses.
Beyond the many accolades above, Maxie has earned 2 Steel Crosses over the past six months for his admirable and enviable activity, both as a member and a Battleteam Leader. His has been constant in his activity and steadfast in his drive to see his Team and his Clan succeed.
He has been consistently active for the majority of the past three years, and has spent the last five months as Battleteam Leader of the newly-formed Styx. In that role, he created the entire concept for the Battleteam, wrote an extensive history, and worked diligently to help the existing members of then-Tyrant Sword transition to the new team - no small feat for many of them individuals involved.
Maxi, for your dedication, your continuing contributions and indomitable passion for your Battleteam, House and Clan, it is my pleasure to recommend you for elevation to the rank of Savant (EQ2).
Congratulations, man. You've earned it.

Since his last elevation, Myrji has participated in 110 competitions and organized 5 competitions. He has submitted 68 PvE Activities, completed 1 ACC Battle, submitted 6 Fiction Activities (10,954 words!), passed 20 Shadow Academy courses and earned 2 Dark Side Degrees. In that time, Myrji has collected 37 crescents (5 Cr-R, 11 Cr-A, 9 Cr-S, 10 Cr-E, 2 Cr-T), 3 Pendants of Blood, 227 Clusters of Fire, 29 Clusters of Ice, 675 Clusters of Earth, 1 Bronze Nova, 1 Silver Nova, 1 Anteian Cross, 2 Steel Crosses, and 1 Scroll of Indoctrination.
In addition to a myriad of awards and activity, Maxi has also served as Battle Team Leader for 4 months. In this role, he drafted the concept for Battle Team Styx. This required effort to retool the original concept, prepare fiction, and roll the team out to the House. Despite a number of setbacks, Maxi continues to strive to improve as a Battleteam Leader.
Having worked alongside Myrji for nearly four months as his Battleteam Sergeant, I quickly picked up on his enthusiasm and joy toward approaching new concepts. When he took over the old Tyrant Sword Battleteam, he brought to it a refreshing new concept in the form of Styx, one that reaches out to members of all kinds to integrate into the team. It also offers splendid RPing opportunities of all kinds for his members. I’m looking forward to seeing where he takes this wonderful concept.
In addition to originality on RPing ideas, Myrji is also extremely helpful toward members, both inside and outside of his Battleteam. When a member is trying to think up ideas, he is willing and able to contribute with wonderful ideas. When fiction proofing is requested in a channel, he is quick to offer his assistance. As a member, he sets an outstanding example, having participated in over 110 competitions since his last promotion, as noted above, and participating in all sorts of activities and encouraging others to do the same. For all these efforts and for being a shining example of what a member should aspire to within Arcona, I am more than pleased to endorse Myrji’s promotion to EQ2. Very well done, my friend!

Those above me have already gone over the numbers, so I’ll speak to the man behind the.. Well, I’d say blindfold, but he’s a weird Miraluka that doesn’t wear one. Nearly six months ago (Has it really been that long?), both our Battleteam Leader and Battleteam Sergeant of Tyrant Sword decided to step down to take a much-needed break. After perusing the applications that came in, I was stunned by the depth and thought behind Maxi’s proposal for a Battleteam he called ‘Styx’. I had known of him prior to this decision, though we had only spoken once or twice; he was chosen for the new concept and refreshing ideas, as well as his clear enthusiasm for the job.
From serving under me as Quaestor to becoming a member of his team when I stepped down last month, Myrji has proven to be a hard working, dedicated member to the Clan. He’s always willing to step up to the plate and help any member if he’s around, even if the particular area they need help in isn’t Maxi’s strong suit - he’s willing to chat with them as a sounding board for their ideas. In the last several months, he’s improved by leaps and bounds, both as a leader and a member. I feel that this is only the beginning for him and there’s no telling how far he’ll go.
Maxi, it’s been a pleasure serving with you. You’ve more than earned this promotion to Equite II. Congratulations!

Though I’ve only worked with Maxi for a few months, I have thoroughly enjoyed seeing the development of Styx and it’s BTL as he has developed. From it’s infancy as a new Battleteam Styx has been guided by and developed hand in hand by it’s BTL and his chosen advisers. He has managed different personalities within his Battleteam and House and produced for us a new concept to live on in House Qel-Droma.
Everyone above has spoken to the specifics of his activity, his time in position and role he has played. Many of them having worked far closer and longer with Maxi than I have. One way or another I still wanted to lend my voice to saying thank you for everything you have done and continue to do.

Ophelia Delacroix,
Now that is a name that when I hear it, a smile comes to my face. Since first joining House Marka Ragnos as a member, Ophelia has been an active participant and has been a very valuable asset to the Clan. When I became a Quaestor for the House, I saw great potential for Ophelia and took him as my Aedile. Since becoming Aedile, he has been a wonderful partner in planning and coordinating events within our House.
One of the major plans was to create a small competition where our members could relax and participate without feeling pressured. I didn’t have to ask twice before Ophelia had already come up with several ideas along with adding in the feedback I had gathered from my members. All I had to do was just enter the information and soon we had the Rest and Relaxation House Marka Ragnos Style up and running.
Even before he became an Aedile, he was always eager to help get things done. Before Sanguinius had left to become proconsul, he had asked Ophelia if he could write up some wiki articles for the background to some NPC characters for our Retribution ship. He came up with ten NPC characters and had written over 16,000 words of fiction. That impressed me very highly.
Along with writing, He has already written 7,214 words of fiction
He is a team team player who works alongside others. In the Clan event: Firestorm, He participated in every single one of the activities. During The World is Not Enough Run on for Firestorm, he was one of the main team players that helped his other teammates to continue to write.
Because of his willingness to help get things done, participate and come up with ideas, he has earned a Steel Cross, Two Anteian Crosses, three Crescents with Amethyst Star, Five Crescents with Sapphire Star, Five Crescents with Emerald Star, tow Crescents with Topaz Star, eight Pendants of Blood, Thirty-Five Clusters of Fire, Twenty-Nine Clusters of Ice, and a whopping one hundred and ninety five clusters of earth!
In addition to this, he has also earned a scroll of the Master and two legions of the Scholar. His studies in the Shadow Academy also include twenty SA academy courses completed and seven degrees gained.
He has also organized and completed ten competitions on his own, co-organized three competitions, and participated in a total of sixty one competitions overall.
Some of his positions have also been Battleteam Sergeant for four months, Battleteam Leader for six months, and an Aedile for about a month now.
As for the non-quantifiable things he has done, I have found him to be an active presence on telegram that always has information about games from time to time or just can help bring a smile to your face. He is a delightful member that I can rely on to get things done in a pinch, as well as trust that he will help to make our Clan and House a fun place to be in.
For your dedication, hard work, and willingness to work alongside House Marka Ragnos and Clan Naga Sadow, I am pleased to promote and welcome Ophelia Delacroix to Raider. Congratulations on this well deserved promotion!

Ophelia is a gigantic pain in my arse...
He comes over here from Plagueis, comes up to me and goes...I'm bored, give me some work. I'm sat here thinking, the nerve of that guy! Of course, I'm a devious git, so I decided to give him a huge project. I demanded that he create 10+ NPCs for the House, give them a full background and I wanted a quick turn around. I then sit there with a smug grin on my face thinking that'll keep him busy for a bit.
Imagine the look on my face when 48 hours later, Ophelia comes to me and says that he's written 18,000+ words and created 10 NPCs with a full background, each with 1,500 words+. I'm sat there thinking...holy crap, this guy is legit.
Ophelia has been a welcome addition to Marka Ragnos and Naga Sadow. He has completed all tasks I give him, those as a member under my Quaestorship and now those as a summiteer as I act as Proconsul.
Opie/DD/Tarry/Dee Dee/Gigantic Pain... they all work as names for him. I was pleased when Tasha decided to take him on as Aedile, it meant that she could continue to make him suffer and do even more work.
Added to this, despite recently becoming a father, in the past couple of days in fact!!! Ophelia has continued to have a fantastic presence within the Clan methods of communication, encouraging members to compete in the fun and friendly House event that is being run and working with Tasha on future projects.
For all of his work since his last promotion, covered by Tasha, Ophelia is more than deserving of the rank of Equite Two. He has become a producer, rather than a consumer. I hope to see him continue along that path with the chance that he has been given and also continue to be a gigantic pain in the arse for me, as it means that he's making me do even more work!
Congratulations, you old fart. <3
Proconsul of Naga Sadow
Professor Sanguinius Tsucyra Entar, 2016-04-11 22:25:01 UTC
Ophie came around from Plagueis, I didn't know him. I don't think anyone knew him here, aside from maybe Sang or Cethgus. This great unknown suddenly starts spouting nonsense in chat, doing all these activities, pestering me for a student. I was like "Whoa, calm down man."
Now, a few months later, he stands as one of us. An Aedile, an energetic person who not only posses a drive far beyond most members, but genuinely wants to improve the experience for others. There is barely a task to which he has not lent a hand and not an idea in which he has had something valuable to contribute.
He has performed exceptionally well during our most recent event, and has taken a character that he thought he'd love, but didn't, far beyond what we expected to see. Now that he's back with the character he came to us with, I expect to see great things both in- and out of character.
I'm proud to help elevate this new addition in Naga Sadow, to the second of the Equite ranks. Congratulations Ophie!

All good things come to end. A lot of people see that as bad, but bear with me. Since joining the Brotherhood, Q had made a great impact. I am not talking only of the previously awarded things like the Celebration comps or his recognition by Pravus. Despite his real-life obligations, Qyreia has continued to be a fun and positive influence within Clan Naga Sadow.
Energetic, talkative and encouraging, he has served as a worthy successor in leading the Devil's Shroud Battleteam for another month since his last recognition. His previous efforts were recognized by a Steel Cross, but he has lost none of his zeal. His reports are both zany and fun, and his efforts to engage his memberbase have been shown in the excellent activity within the Battleteam. Though this may be in part due to all the time spent in Telegram when he is able, continuing to join in on and even sometimes even instigate Clan antics and fun. Hell, he even got a Dark Cross from the Grand Master for contributing positively to the club in communications! Qyreia continues to lead his team from the front in terms of activity, having participated in forty-one competitions. He has also created and run another five competitions himself. All these things even led to him getting a Steel Cross this February.
Though his activities may be well-varied, this Mercenary still strives for excellence, having gathered six Crescents with Diamond Star, four Crescents with a Ruby Star, nine Crescents with a Amethyst Star, two Crescent with a Sapphire Star, another two Crescents with Emerald Star, an impressive (given his RL commitments especially) three hundred and seventeen Clusters of Fire, a Pendant of Blood, and sixty-four Clusters of Ice since his last recognition. He also helped to mentor Leeadra up to the rank of Knight, netting him a Scroll of the Master. So needless to say this man has been building his own little trove of shinies.
His efforts in fiction have been especially extraordinary: over twenty-nine thousand words of fiction in the thirteen fiction activities he has participated in. There are also the one thousand eight hundred and five words he has written in RO posts. Though writing is an obvious strength- haven won his one ACC match- he has also completed twelve PvP matches and five PvE activities. He also continues his efforts in the Shadow Academy, showing the importance of contining to learn after you hit JM4: completing six classes and netting himself another degree.
Based on these things, and given the continued fun that Qyreia continues to generate within the Clan and club, I think that all good things come to and end. The times as Journeyman were great fun for many of us, but it is time for this Mercenary to step up and join the ranks of our Equite members. Welcome to the Equites, Privateer Qyreia. I hope you keep up the good work. Enjoy the shinies of your new rank, try not to overload on the sugar, and I hope to be writing the next recommendation soon.

Although Qyreia has been leading an extremely busy real life, with being gone most of the weekday and only being able to have some downtown during the weekends, the past few weeks have seen him lead his Battle Team to the best of his capabilities.
During Operation: Firestorm he has ensured that his team participated in the event, accounting for an activity rate of over 70%. Just before the event Qyreia also ran his first BT level event, which turned out to be well received.
Despite not always being on even terms with each other, Qyreia has brought valuable input to situations and has improved the communication line within the House Summit. He is not afraid to speak up when he notices something that he thinks is unfair or incorrect, nor is he incapable of admitting fault. This is a valuable attribute to have as a leader and team player.
Whilst still a little rough on the edges (as are we all), the decision to see Qyreia step up as BTL has not been a mistake and I am glad to have seen him grow into his position the last few months.
Welcome to the Equites, I hope you enjoy being one!

Despite the fact that his military training keeps demanding more and more of him, Qyreia hasn't slowed down much at all. He keeps on being a vibrant and bubbly personality, both inside Telegram and competitions. Always available for a chat, or giving advice, Q makes one of those members that you hope to get when you're helping lead a clan. Dedicated, full of ideas, extremely active, and always willing to lend a hand.
As the person who brought him into the fold, I'm extremely proud of what he has, and is, accomplishing. As such I am honored to see him risen up to the ranks of the Equite.
Congratulations Q, bloody good work old boy!

Marcus Kiriyu, 2016-04-12 12:46:31 UTC
I'll leave the metrics to the current summit of Shar Dakhan. What I will be discussing is Qyreia's character, as a person. Promotion requests like this one are easy to write, because the member makes their own case for themself, leaving little need for justification. What Qyreia does so well is embody the personality you look for in this club.
As a member, Qyreia is supremely enthusiastic and energetic, bringing everything to the table for each task. This is an infectious thing to witness and be a part of. This also translates into a perfectionist streak. Not once have I seen a fiction submission from Qyreia that is less than 4000 words. To top that number, there is rarely wasted space in those words! Everything contributes to the story Qyreia is creating. That same care of detail and skill translates into Qyreia's leadership and drive. Despite my departure from Naga Sadow, I still sit in the chat groups for Qyreia's battleteam, and the Clan itself. From there, I see Qyreia's continued performance, despite the obligations of real life drastically reducing his ability to participate.
Seeing that fire still burning, no matter the situation, makes it easy for me to append a recommendation among the others here. A truly deserved promotion.
Atra Ventus, Former Quaestor of Shar Dakhan
Atra, 2016-04-11 21:42:19 UTC
Qyreia is our well-loved Merc.
He was our first member to join as a Mercenary, he was the first to reach the rank of Professional within the Brotherhood and I'm pleased to see him as the first (new) member to reach the rank of Privateer.
His work, his dedication, his drive and his personality have all been covered amply by others. Q-ball, as I like to call him, has been one of many new members that have flourished in Naga Sadow and have contributed greatly to the growth of the Clan over these past 12 months.
I'd hate to think what Telegram would be like without him and I hate to think what Naga Sadow would be like also. Qyreia has, despite recent heavy rl commitments, continued to fulfil his duty as BTL, running a BTL event and participating well in the recent Clan event, Operation: Firestorm.
Qyreia is one of reliable Journeymen and will now become one of our reliable Equites.
Congratulations on joining the big boys, soldier.

I am honored to raise Aryelline Sargon to the ranks of Arconan Knights today. It has been an exceptional ride the past four months since her rise to Hunter, but we have finally arrived at the destination: recognition as a full member of the Shadow Clan and Dark Brotherhood.
Aryelline has completed her time-in-rank requirement while also being an active member of our Clan chat. In addition, she has participated in over 21 competitions during her rise to Knight, has been awarded 7 major competition awards, reached Rank 4 in the Inquisitorious, has been awarded 18 Clusters of Ice, been awarded her first merit medal, and wrote over 3000 words of character fiction that has been approved by Aryelline’s Master. For completion, and exceeding, the requirements set forth by the Master-At-Arms, I am honored to put forth this Hunter to elevation to Knight. Congratulations, Aryelline!

It’s been a lot of fun working with Aryelline the past month or so, both in developing her character and helping her on her path to Knighthood. She’s driven, friendly, and enthusiastic about her relationships both in and out of character, as well as fictionally creating a character that makes sense. It’s rare to find a friend and student that uses much the same process as you, in that they grow the character organically, adding to it through collaboration rather than just tacking bits of personality on and hoping for the best. She’s been a joy to help and a wonderful new friend in Arcona.
I’m very, very proud to see Ary gaining her Knight today, and look forward to watching her continued growth and development!

Janos!
Or as I tend to call him, OtherJanos! Having spent the required 14 days in rank, he has completed the requirements we set for our Journeymen. Under the tutelage of Macron, Janos has created a character sheet to help us interpret his character, participated in at least 3 competitions during the Firestorm event in Naga Sadow, and has written more than his fair share of 750 words of character fiction.
In the Firestorm event's Run-on Janos went all out, surprising all of us in the summit with the fervor at which he threw out posts. We actually had to check twice, because this guy was putting us to shame and caused us to scramble. For his efforts during Firestorm he has been given a Dark Cross which, along with his proper posts on the forum, completes the set of requirements for his promotion.
Janos, I am proud to help you climb the ladder in the Brotherhood. I hereby recommend your immediate promotion to the rank of Acolyte.

Please allow me to commend Janos Braker, my Apprentice on his seriously gung-ho attitude. It's been really refreshing to have him as a new Apprentice and he has fit right in. He joined and literally jumped into a large complicated runon competition (The World Is Not Enough) and became one of the top contributing members during our Operation Firestorm event. This is no mean feat considering how rabid and talented we are with runons here in CNS.
Not only that, he managed to come in fourth against some heavy-hitting competitiors including a GM in the two-man runon event "For Your Eyes Only". What makes his work there so special is that he was asked to help Bentre out at the last minute as Bentre's partner for the event had RL issues. I had been asked but could not due to my RL move and work schedule, and suggested Janos might be able to. I had faith in his writing abilities and he did not let me down.
Janos did it, no problem, and helped out when asked. Bentre was still able to participate thereby. Janos ended up writing over 4500 words for these two runons.
That is exactly the kind of can-do attitude that makes a great experience for everyone. Janos continues to be in excellent contact with me as his Master. He has a helpful, can-do attitude and is chomping at the bit to get the work done needed to advance in the club. He has shown himself to be a team player and a valued contributor to our Clan's fictional doings. I think we are all very happy to have him here in this great Clan of friends.
I hereby recommend he be elevated forthwith.
