“Kooki.” A warm voice called.
Kookimarissima Mimosa turned from the viewport in front of her, putting the stretches of space and the billions of gleaming stars at her back. She saw her Master, Atyiru, approaching with a smile, and smiled in return.
“Master.” The Jedi Hunter greeted the other woman delightedly. Her Master stepped close and gave her a brief, one-armed hug before motioning towards the wide port window.
“Do you have any idea why I asked you to meet me here, Kooki?” Atyiru questioned her. The Alderaanian glanced back out at the stars, studying them as she pondered her answer.
“Because you wanted to show me something?” Kooki returned, though with a smart, querying lit to it. Atyiru laughed softly, and Kooki smiled again, glad her comment had been well-received.
“No, my friend. I want you to show me something.” The Aedile replied, dropping a hand to her belt. The Miraluka stepped away from her Apprentice, activating her saber, and waving a hand to indicate Kooki should do similarly.
Kooki did so, feeling slightly uncertain. This didn’t seem like one of their regular sparring sessions. Still, she pushed the hesitation aside, letting herself grow calm and focused.
Atyiru slipped into an easy defensive stance, holding her pale blade before her. “Attack me, Kooki.” She ordered.
The Jedi Hunter exhaled, and then ran forward, swinging her training saber in a tight arc at her Master’s exposed side. The Miraluka danced away, keeping her saber poised but not moving it. Kooki struck out again, and again, the violet tips of her hair floating around her.
“Think of your planet, and your parents.” Atyiru said, softly but firmly. “Your mother, with her faith.”
Her Master’s words summoned up the memories to Kooki’s mind, and the human found herself putting more effort into her swings. She pushed her mentor further across the room.
“Think of the friends you’ve made here. Think of me. Think of Andrelious.” Atyiru insisted, and Kooki pushed herself harder, faster, breathing in the strength that came with those thoughts of her loved ones. The Aedile’s evasive maneuvers became more frantic.
“Think of your home, Kooki.”
Arcona came to Kooki’s mind, and quite suddenly, her blade was swinging for the Miraluka’s side, too quick to dodge.
Atyiru’s saber cut to the side, slicing clean through the training tool. Kooki froze, her heart pounding, chest rising with her excited breaths. She looked up into her Master’s face and saw a brilliant smile there.
The Aedile deactivated her saber and gripped Kooki by the shoulders, the human too shocked by the realization that she thought of the Shadow Clan as the place she belonged to respond.
Atyiru reached to her belt and withdrew a newly-crafted saber that shone under the ceiling lights. She extended it to Kooki. The Alderaanian blinked and took it, feeling a mix of pride and happiness bubble up in her chest.
“You’ve traveled a long way to earn this, Kooki. Welcome home. Welcome to Knighthood.”
…………………………………………..
I am honoured to be recommending Kookimarissia Mimosa for her elevation to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has been a steward of activity and drive since joining the Brotherhood, making an impression on many inside of Arcona and House Galeres myself included. But she hasn't stopped and today has completed all requirements set forth by the Master at Arms office for her final elevation.
Since her last promotion Kooki has earned a merit medal that was in the form of a Dark Cross; as well as this she has not one crescent but six including a Crescent with Sapphire Star. She has also continued to excel in this competition field, tripling the standard eight competitions required for a Journeyman, showing her ability to adapt and continue to be active inside of the club at all times participating in a total of twenty five competitions. As well as participating in competitions she has also been heavily involved in running competitions, having ran two of her own one titled a “Monkey Kick Off” the other Kooki’s IRC Trivia. Both being successful inside of the clan and bringing more activity to Arcona itself.
She has also continued to progress her character development. This was in the form of completing a wiki page to a high level and approved by a member of the wiki staff. But as well as this she has developed her own character in a massive four thousand and eight hundred word fiction. As well as all of this, she has also taken it a step furthering and helped the development of the House as a whole, this was in the form of wiki pages, creating a list of edits that need to be made inside of the Battleteam wiki pages. She’s helped develop the Battleteams and continue to let them grow in fictional aspects with her thoughts, but also has given me personal help in advice for competitions for the newer members of the House, as well as what way we could make it so we are more interactive with the newer members of House Galeres. To top all of this off Kooki has found the time to also achieve a massive seventy seven clusters of fire.
For all of her hard work and completion of the requirements set by the Master at Arms Office, I am proud to see Kooki elevated to the rank of Knight. Congratulations. You have earned this, and I look forward to seeing what work you do in the future. Keep that roll going and don't let it stop.

I don’t have enough words appropriate for Kooki (shocking, I know). She’s nothing but brilliant, caring, and dedicated. One of Arcona’s greatest strengths is its community: it is a family, not just a couple Star Wars fans stuck under one roof. Kooki has more than seamlessly become part of that family: she’s become a sweet, outstanding member of it (if not a mother to us). She works hard without complaint, is friendly to everyone, is always present to chat and mingle on IRC, and has unlimited patience. I couldn’t have hoped for a better first student, and certainly couldn’t have expected such a genuine friend. I’m so proud to see her reach Dark Jedi Knight, because she’s more than earned it.
Congratulations, Amy. As my mentor once said to me, I see great things in your future. There’s no where you’ll go but up, sis. Well done.

I am pleased to announce that Anduriel is ready for promotion to the rank of Guardian.
First of all, he is a regular in the #arcona IRC channel, and is usually to be found conversing with his fellow Arconans. He also began working on his character history, as well as creating an approved character sheet.
Anduriel has been active in the Shadow Academy too, passing his order's core exam, as well as enough other exams to obtain rank II in the newly created SA society. In addition to this he has been awarded three clusters of Ice, as well as a Dark Cross.
Finally, he has spent 347 days in rank.
Congratulations, Guardian!

Cethgus slashed out, his saber hissing against his student’s blade, his eyes locking with Lexi’s at that moment. She had come a long way since her original days when the Iridonian took her under his wing. Able to hold her own, able to fight against the Equite. Forcing her back with his brute strength, he snarled towards the Jedi Hunter, his eyes focused and showing years of experience.
“Keep your guard up or lose your head.” He instructed, his voice cold and stern as he spoke towards Lexi.
Pushing off his feet, the Iridonian charged forward, allowing his saber to clash against the Jedi Hunter’s, forcing her backwards further still. As he allowed his blade to lock with hers, his free hand came up, slamming into the side of her face and sending her down onto the practice mat. Her saber rolled free from her hand, out of reach, and Cethgus loomed over her at that moment.
“I told you to keep your guard up.” He repeated, his voice solid and firm as he heard footsteps approaching.
“Ceth! It’s time, brother.” The voice of Atyriu rang out as Cethgus’ eyes shot up. Without removing his eyes from Atyriu, he allowed his boot to pin the Jedi Hunters stomach keeping her held down. The screams could be heard form the training area as the Obelisk Primarch burned the letter ‘C’ into the nape of his student’s neck. Atyriu cursed softly, hating this trial by fire method that her Quaestor used. Once it was finished, Cethgus allowed his eyes to fall down to Lexi.
“There. Something to always remember me by.” He muttered. Hauling her up onto her feet, he summoned her saber and clipped it to her side. “Follow us.”
The three of them advanced down the corridors of Arcona’s base, the dull ache echoing from Lexi’s flesh as she walked with her master, aware of the burn that he had inflicted onto her would remain despite the Aedile’s brief healing. They approached a golden door in time, leading to the Clan Summit chambers. Cethgus knocked, letting his hand fall onto the door, and a reply was clearly heard from inside.
“Enter.” With that, the gleaming doors opened, allowing the group to walk inside of the door.
On the throne was the Consul of Arcona, Legorii flanking him at his side. As Lexi entered, she walked to the center of the room, feeling her Quaestor’s hand on her shoulder, forcing her down onto her knees, before her Master and Aedile walked past her and stood beside Marick.
“It has come to our attention that you have achieved great things in this Clan. As such, it has been decided that you are fit to be welcomed into the ranks of Knighthood.” Marick’s voice echoed as the others remained in silence “You are one of our finest younglings, and you have grown. Now, you will stand and leave as a Knight of Arcona.”
Silence reigned as Lexi shot a glance at her Master. The Iridonian replied with a smile on his lips, nodding towards her.
…………………………….
I am honoured to be recommending Lexi for her final promotion to the rank of Dark Jedi Knight. She has been an active and devoted member inside of the Brotherhood, expanding her knowledge and continuing to grow during her time as a Journeyman. For all of her hard work, I am proud to see her finally reach the rank of Knighthood.
She has been a pleasure to work with throughout her elevation through the Journeymen ranks. Always showing her own opinion and not being afraid to get involved and talk with the members on IRC. Showing herself as a steady and stable part of Clan Arcona and House Galeres. Since joining Lexi has continued to inspire not only helping with offering improvements to the Battleteam she is part of, but also offering assistance on a House level. Continuing to help improve things for members. What is even more impressive is she joined as part of the Guild but dove straight into the other side of the site. Taking Exams and writing fictions and progressing herself all of the time. She has been a excellent person to have meet and I have had the proud position of being her master, she continues to keep people active and inspired including myself.
Congratulations Lexi for your elevation, you have truly worked hard and achieved so much since joining the club. I am proud to have been your master and I hope that we continue to teach each other new things in the future. I look forward to seeing what you do from here Lexi, I will be keeping a close eye on you.

Lexi has been a wonderful addition to Arcona, and I’m delighted to see her reach Dark Jedi Knight. She knows as much as the next gamer-girl how tough it can be to break into the guy’s scene, but she’s certainly never let it stop her; and I daresay she’s taken control. Lexi’s energetic, active, and always present, yet all the while working hard to move up through the ranks, she’s always been polite and kind to her clanmates. I’ve had the pleasure of watching her stake her claim in the Clan, and now, all that effort’s come to fruition.
Congratulations on Knighthood, Lexi. We look forward to seeing just how you’ll amaze next.

The time has come for Lexi Sarden to be elevated to the prized rank of Dark Jedi Knight. Since joining, she has completed all that has been asked of her with a certain confidence and enjoyment.
First of all, she has been awarded a merit award, this being a Dark Cross given for her generally impressive activity. In addition to this, she has earned the necessary competition awards, having earned 2 Legions of the Scholar.
Lexi’s activity has been extremely impressive, she has taken part in sixteen competitions, these being: PvP Domination, Monkey Kick Off, The Jitters, The Vows, The Reception, Cethgus' IRC trivia, Dozen of Games II, Dozen of Games II: Round 3 - Christmas Balls, ACC: Create a Venue, The Ceremony, Gevaar's IRC trivia, Sentence Run-On, Dozen of Games II: Round 4 - Curve-Ball, Dark Forge Continuous Run On, Caption Time! New Years Caption Contest #1, Caption Time! New Years Caption Contest #2, and has also organised two of her own, both instances of her organising IRC trivia competitions.
In the Shadow Academy, Lexi has been second to none in terms of her ability to pass courses and obtain degrees, securing not only one Maven, but a second - she has gained Dark Maven degrees in both Combat and Philosophy, as well as passing both leadership courses. Her impressive activity in the Shadow Academy has allowed her to obtain Rank IV within its society.
Writing is another area that Lexi has excelled in, achieving not only 3,000 words of character fiction, but also developing her Wiki article to the point that it can be considered a ‘quality’ article.
Finally, she has completed a summit task - she has checked all Galeres related Wiki pages and provided the Quaestor and Aedile with a list of items that needed updated.
Congratulations, Lexi! Enjoy your new lightsaber!

The newly promoted Jedi Hunter stood rigidly at attention before his Quaestor, years of training with the military still echoed in the back of his mind at times like this. Montresor read over the datapad as he paced in front of the Journeyman.
“A star pupil at the Shadow Academy, I see the Headmaster rewarded your efforts there as well,” he glanced up to look Zednich in the eye for a moment. “A few awards from others, you’ve made a fast name for yourself here. Still, you missed the majority of the Crusade. How will you hold up the next time Plagueis goes to war, I wonder?”
It was a fact that was always in the back of Zed’s mind. He was surrounded by battle hardened fighters. They had waged a war across multiple worlds, taking on other highly trained Force Users as they laid claim to their spoils. Even with the hint of doubt nagging at the back of his mind, he wouldn’t let his demeanor crack.
“I’ve seen a fair share of war in the Defense Force, sir. I’m sure I can handle it,” the Obelisk replied stoically.
The Battlemaster suppressed a chuckle, “Oh I’m sure you have. What you’ve seen in the past, what you think you know… is about to be shattered. You’re about to take your final step down the path to become a Dark Jedi Knight and your Master has seen fit to have you achieve that goal on your own. Away from the Anchorage and away from your House. Valhavoc has sent a shuttle to take you to the Spike on Antei. When we meet again, you’ll be a Dark Jedi Knight.”
“Sir, I can be ready to depart in less than 10 minutes.”*
*The Quaestor set his datapad on his desk as he nodded at the former Soldier, “Zednich, don’t fail Plagueis... dismissed.”
...
After landing at the Spike Zed was quickly escorted through a labyrinth of hallways and sublevels of the structure by two individuals in red Royal Guard armor. Finally his two escorts came to a halt in front of a set of airlock doors. One nodded towards the doors and then looked at the Jedi Hunter, neither had spoken a word during their descent into the Spike.
As Zed stepped through the airlock into the Fist’s office they snapped shut abruptly behind him. Across the room from him Valhavoc gently laid a lightsaber on the table and turned to address the new arrival.
“Welcome apprentice. Here you will complete your trials… or die trying.”
Zed has been hard at work completing his tasks for Jedi Hunter. His participation in the Shadow Academy has been exemplary, earning Rank 4 and completing a total of 39 courses. In the process of this he earned two Dark Pundit Degrees and three Dark Maven degrees! For these achievements the Headmaster awarded him an Anteian Cross. He’s been active on IRC with his House, and been in #DBGaming participating in several Pazaak Matches, both during and after the Crusade.
Zed has participated in a total of ten competitions, placing in three. Including earning a Gold Nova in his first ever Fiction Event, an Event he participated in within days of joining the club. Not content to merely participate in competitions Zed created a competition for all members of the Brotherhood to take part in, with “The Battle of the Bakers” to see who could design the most awesome Star Wars themed holiday cookie.
Zednich has met all requirements to earn his promotion to Jedi Hunter and I am sure he will join the ranks of the Dark Jedi Knights in short order. Congratulations Jedi Hunter!

Qormus has worked hard since joining the Brotherhood less than a month ago. He rocketed through the ranks to achieve Guardian status, picking up a Dark Cross for his incredible Shadow Academy work, a Cluster of Fire for Galactic Starfighter, and a Pendant of Blood for reaching max level in The Old Republic.
He has participated in 5 competitions, passed both Leadership exams, and completed a nearly-3000 word character fiction. He has also organized two competitions and is a regular presence on IRC and email.
It is my great pleasure to recommend his promotion to Jedi Hunter. Congratulations, Qormus!

To Whom It May Concern:
Krath Priest Xantros has been sitting at EQ1 for over 15 months now, and is ready to take the next step forward in the Equite ranks. At this exact moment he is sitting as the Scholae Palatinae Aedile, SA Professor, on the Appeals Panel and is the new created Tribune: Recruitment.
Xantros came back to Scholae Palatinae after a leave from the Brotherhood back at the very beginning of the year. Having already spent a good deal of time working with him while he was a BTL, I knew what he was capable of. It was a difficult time for HSP, with both AED and RM leaving without notice. To my relief Xantros was willing to step up as the new HSP Aedile. This was easily one of the best decisions I have made as a leader.
Xantros strikes at whatever faces him with an intense ferocity. He came into AED with a list of new ideas. He helped organize our on going Wikipedia revisal. He took the time to create the HSP Chapters, which is the fictional updated for things that members have done and participated to give a deeper fictional interaction for our members beyond whatever fictional lines the house as a whole is developing (which was mainly the crusade this past year). Xantros has also already prepared a full house event to be run sometime this next year. He is also working on getting the Scholae Imperial Senate set up to give members a chance to debate and discuss various topics for the house.
Beyond all of this Xantros has been standing in the activity spotlight. He has at all times lead from the front. Its far more than the standard reports each month. He emails members. He is on IRC talking (or as so often its been given a dbb0t response, “looking around”). He was a constant presence in the Crusade and on our Special Forces Team (20 events and 3 nova!). In fact he has earned 2 Silver Nova, 1 Bronze Nova, 2 Sapphire Star, 5 Emerald Star, 3 Topaz Star, 3 Quartz Star, 1 Dark Cross, 1 Antiean Cross, 2 Steel Cross, 12 Seals of Reminiscence, 6 Scrolls of Foundation, 6 Cluster of Ice, and 1 Seal of Loyalty.
In truth, Xantros is too good to be merely AED here in HSP. I’ve never met someone who has just so many different ideas bursting out of him to try out and improve the Brotherhood. He is frequently talking about new SA Course ideas he wants to get written, new strategies for engaging the members of the house, new ways to work in fictional elements for everything we do. I know somewhere on his computer there is probably a list pages long of things that could be done in one-way or another across the Brotherhood. I know this because I’ve gotten lists of ideas for just HSP from him in our many discussions on the house.
It has been an absolute privilege working with Xantros over the course of this year and I hope there are many more to come. Xantros is the definition of what we want and need in a leader here in this club.
To Xantros let me just say, Congratulations and welcome to Equite 2. Enjoy being an Archpriest! Drinks are on you!

Xantros has been a stalwart member of Scholae Palatinae for as long as I can remember. In spite of English being his second language, he is a decorated fiction writer, and his leadership and activity are second to none. With an impeccable record, and always a ready wit, Xantros has led from the front in the Dark Crusade, and deserves all the praise and laurels heaped upon him. Well done, Xantros!
Archangel Palpatine, 2013-12-24 06:53:39 UTC
KP Xantros has – over the last number of months – been a veritable fountain of activity. He has, so far, written 14,754 words for the Shadow Academy. This spread out over seven potential and future courses. He did this while, as the recommendations from his leaders and peers will indubitably prove, helping to run an independent Unit towards achieving 4th place overall in the Dark Crusade Vendetta. He also actively participated in said Crusade.
Xantros joined the Staff around the time he earned his promotion to Equite 1. Sadly, due to personal issues he had to resign half a year later. When he – this last march – returned to the Academy, we were overjoyed to have him back with us. Upon rejoining, the Headmaster and myself were quite happy as he started bombarding us with ideas for courses and showed a desire to aid us in creating/modernizing several courses that were already in the making. A brief example perhaps: he’s created courses on blogging, how to create character back stories, how to manage the process of creating Unit Lore. Upon his appointment to Recruitment Tribune, he quickly started work on an SA guide/course on recruitment and ways of going about recruiting people.
Personally, I put Xantros in charge of several aspects of a subdivision of a project I am working on. Xantros was placed in command of fleshing out, updating and in some cases creating courses for the future “Department of Management Studies”. In this venture, he was aided and supported by Jac Cotelin. Their progress is going quite well and I have nothing but praise for the work of this team and it’s leader. Courses such as Leadership Rewarding, Reporting, Applications and Management will – in my opinion – alter the way we prepare leaders for future positions. As well as helping in course creation, Xantros also advises the SA on ideas for future courses.
In my opinion, Xantros has more then earned a promotion to the rank of Archpriest.
Supreme Chancellor Ood Bnar, 2013-12-24 06:52:17 UTC
Since Xantros has joined the Dark Brotherhood, he has been on e of the most active members and leaders within Scholae Palatinae.
His work ethic is outstanding, and he has worked hard both within the Empire and the Brotherhood at large in a number of positions. The current work that he is doing as Tribune of Recruitment will hopefully pay off in huge amounts as the Brotherhood takes advantage of a variety of new ideas and technologies. In addition to his duties as Tribune, Xantros has continued his excellent work as Aedile of Scholae and a professor with the Shadow Academy’s Department of Writing Studies. It is even more impressive as English is not his first language. He leads from the front as evidenced by his plethora of seals as well as his participation over the events of the year long Crusade against the One Sith. I am glad to be able to include this recommendation for my apprentice as he continues his journey up the hierarchy of the Brotherhood.
General Kell Palpatine Dante, 2013-12-24 06:53:12 UTC
Xantros stepped up to the plate when the necessity arose. He went above and beyond everything that his position stood for. Xantros was always willing to work with everyone who needed help and constantly showed his presence around the House when it came to competitions, the crusade, irc, meetings and just plain being around to talk.
He has honestly become one of the strongest core members within Scholae Palatinae, and there are many things that would not have been possible without him. He helped us bounce back from our smaller participation, and was always at the forefront of the Crusade, pushing everyone to follow and forge their own path.
His leadership has inspired many, myself included to keep trudging along this long and difficult path. But with people like Xantros around, it becomes easier to bare when we all hold the weight upon our shoulders. It has been a long time coming since he deserved this promotion, congratulations Xantros, drinks are on you on you! Proud of you :)
Issamuel Kin'Droth, 2013-12-24 06:54:26 UTC
I am honored to get a chance to recommend Xantros for a promotion to the next rank within the equites. When Xantros came back from his brief leave for his studies at the very start of this year he was ready to get to work. Within the week he assumed the role of Aedile left open in his absence which he has held ever since. During this past year I have enjoyed working with him as part of the Scholae House Summit. While I know he has also been active within the Shadow Academy, Chamber of Justice and now Recruitment Tribune, it is all these other tasks he handles while supporting Scholae that make the promotion after a long year more worthwhile.
He has kept the house engaged fictionally through the forums, while running multiple competitions between phases of the Dark Crusade. Also helping me run a House wide campaign taking a deeper look at one of our system planets and graded one of the sections. While adding all this content to the House, he has lead by example and participated in nearly every competition run by the House earning 10 crescents and likely just short of earning many more when he failed to place.
He is an amazing member of Scholae Palatinae, and it is great, writing, and creating with him. His hard work and passion for the Dark Jedi Brotherhood and his House Scholae Palatinae are unmatched. It is for this and all the reasons above, that I recommend Xantros for a promotion to Krath Archpriest. Congratulations it was hard and well earned.
Lord Evio Nezsa, 2013-12-24 06:54:53 UTC
A whirlwind of activity. These are the words that best describe Xantros. While many are content to simply coast along through the DB, Xantros constantly strives to improve the Brotherhood, the House, and himself. It seems not a day goes by that he does not present an idea to improve Scholae Palatinae. Whether it be a method to present the membership with a fictional update of House activity (Chapters), pseudo-positions for members wanting more responsibility (Aides of the Empire), or the many additions he has made to the HSP’s wiki, Xantros goes to great lengths in considering a projects importance and viability. As the newly created Tribune of Recruitment as well as his responsibilities as SA Professor, I am certain the Brotherhood can look forward to witnessing Xantros’ efforts firsthand.
While the majority of the House are unaware of Xantros’ efforts behind the scenes, there is no doubt as to his commitment to lead by example. During the Crusade he had one of the highest participation records in the House, earning himself a plethora of awards in the process. Furthermore, he frequently offers various competitions to the House and Brotherhood and is in the final stages of preparing a House event to be run in the coming year.
Xantros, what more can I say but congratulations? There are few more deserving of this than you. Drinks are on you!
