Nothing about my apprentice, Sarconn, is traditional. From the get-go he has had many struggles from not being placed in a house as an Apprentice to overcoming personal doubts about his abilities. His latest obstacle was his Jedi Hunter trials. Despite his real life taking up a good portion of his time, Sarconn rose to the challenge of leading the Battleteam Night Hawks when I stepped down, which was something he swore he would never do. However, he did, and he has done excellently so far. Within the first few days there was a visible increase in the amount of activity within the Battleteam from competitions and Shadow Academy courses to participation in the House-wide run-on. Another thing he was completely against was taking the SA courses for leadership, however he agreed to try, which he did. Despite his tendency to go against the norm when it comes to promotion requirements I still believe he has done enough quality activity to merit the promotion. He has worked hard on fiction, participating in a Master-Apprentice fiction that is 9 pages and still going strong; this fiction when we finish it will be the entire character histories for both his and my character. In fact, without him bugging me constantly to work on it I would still have no idea who my character was. It says a lot that a Jedi Hunter can convince a 3 year member to do something this big. When the problem of his promotion came to his requirements, Sarconn asked what he could do in place of other things such as the SA quizzes. The additional task of writing his lightsaber fiction was assigned and he completed a quality story quickly. There is no doubt that Sarconn is a hard worker who has great leadership potential, even if he is nontraditional in the way he gets things done, but he gets the things done when he needs to and does them well. It is time that his work is recognized. Congratulations Apprentice.

In the time since his last promotion, the Sadowan known as Sarconn has fulfilled all of the requirements needed for his promotion, including earning a Dark Cross and writing a well-crafted Lightsaber Fiction, He has also demonstrated his attentiveness as a leader, pushing for promotions for those Journeymen under his command as a BTL when they were deserving. However, it is my estimation that the member known as Sarconn brings much more to the table than just a checklist. He has impressed me of late with his displays of Strength...and of Character. When the prospect of his promotion first crossed my desk, there was a minor requirement that hadn't been fulfilled at the time. The vehemence of his stance regarding this requirement was such that his Summit was compelled to take his case to the MAA...and as such, the MAA has begun to revamp the Promotion Requirements. Even through this episode, Sarconn had the fortitude to display his Character by altering his stance sufficiently enough to show his Summit that he'd worked hard for this promotion, and didn't want to be given any special concessions, subsequently going through with the plan the MAA and his QUA had worked out. Knighting Sarconn would be a direct reflection of the Brotherhood's willingess to look at its membership as individuals, and not numbers on a spreadsheet. Therefore, it is without reservation that I lend my name to Sarconn's list of recommendations in his Knighting. Sarconn, take up your 'saber, and continue to smite all enemies of Sadow. Congratulations!

Eleven years ago I founded the Night Hawks Phyle. In all that time, Sarconn is the Tetrarch that has been the most worthy of leadership. I have seen friends appointed to the role, even our current Grand Master. Sarconn has been an inspiration of the talents of youth.

Though relatively new to the DJB Sarconn has been working his light saber off just to earn another one. With a few competition medals under his belt, along with a merit award you can see he is off to a shinning start. He has been participating in the House run on and building his character nicely. Along with working to full fill the requirments for this promotion, he has been trying to learn everything he can. Earning DJK in almost 6 months is a fast pace, but he is showing he is very ready to learn, fight, and defend his House and his Housemates. Congrats on earning the actual shinny saber!! We look forward to continuing to have you in the House!! KAP Jade Sadow
Sarconn has completed his Knight trials to my satisfaction. He holds a leadership postion and does it well. Sarconn issues regular reports, and work like his is one of the things responsible for why our group is so motivated these days. It's a relief to me as a leader to know the Night Hawks are under his able command. Since his last elevation he has served well as Tetrarch, earned a Dark Cross, posted in the developmental runon (and earned a Cluster of Ice thereby) as well as completed a quality lightsaber fiction as directed. His lengthy fictional character development work with Ekeia is praiseworthy.
In short, he should be Knighted.
