Celevon is a member with a name so long I probably wouldn't get it right if I tried to type it out at the top of my head. Regardless, he's been an active member for the last several years, and it shows in his numbers.

Celevon was last promoted in 2017. Since his promotion, he's participated in 224 competitions, organised 33 competitions, and co-organised a further 20. Hes written nearly 37,000 words of fiction, and completed 7 ACC battles. He's completed 11 SA courses, and earned 5 degrees.

That's quite the list, ain't it?

It doesn't stop there. If we take a look at his awards, you can see he has earned the following;

Celevon has been in Vizsla a couple of times. I was planning on doing this before he got the Magistrate appointment in Taldryan. Of which I couldn't be happier for Celevon. Why? Because we like to see people succeed and that is just what he does in everything he puts his mind to. While Appius went over some of the numbers I would like to focus on something else.

Leadership. Leadership is not defined by a person's position in this club. Sure we like to put people in them when we can. However, true leaders do it with or without a position. Celevon is a prime example of this. By example he participates regularly in club events. He is a constant fixture in, not just the Vizsla chats, but brotherhood wide. When we had a recent influx of new members in need of a mentor to show them the ropes Celevon didn't wait until I asked for volunteers. No, he came to me about taking a more active role in guiding new members.

He seems to always have a positive attitude and a joy for life that is infectious. Everyone is his friend and he treats them as such. Metrics don't always count the value of a member and this is certainly true with Celevon. I can't echo Appius recommendation enough. Congrats Celevon and I look forward to seeing your work in Taldryan.

Celevon has been there and done that. On the young member front, he has helped 3 members complete the journey to Knighthood. While a direct report for me, he served as QUA and PCON. To summarize the things that aren’t so obvious, he willingly did the sort of work that few people find enjoyable, but is required to help run a unit. These include things like pre-event paperwork, member management, possessions updates, a house structure transition, lore updates, policy updates, wiki updates, and fictional novice guides. All of these and the details of which you can find in the recc listed above show a dedicated leader to our little corner of the internet.

In addition to his leadership, the Taldryan Consul has already covered his activity throughout the years since he joined all the way back in 2010. He has been a loyal, active member of this club for quite some time. As we grow in years in time in this club, there is often a slowdown in activity from a raw competition sense. Celevon seems to be staving that off fairly well and I think that’s a noteworthy addition to any recc, especially given the systems in use by the club today.

In conclusion, Celevon has been a steady and true member of the DB, even at the ripe old age of 13 years of service to the club. Congratulations on your latest achievement and well done!
