30 Sep, 2021 Changed tradition to None to Consular Event ID 212452 Old Tradition None New Tradition Consular Primary reason So when I was a kid I thought that the transition from a blue lightsaber to a green lightsaberwith Luke Skywalker in the original trilogy correlated with the Jedi Knight to a Jedi Consular change. This change I think stems from growth and character development, as Luke was a greater Jedi in Return of the Jedi than he was in the previous two films for which he used a blue blade. While I could be overthinking it, I think the transition for Knight to Consular shows a growth in character for Creon.
