Primary reason: It gives me great pleasure to put Jai'de Serpens forward for advancement to the rank of Jedi Hunter. To say that Jai'de has been a whirlwind of activity since she joined Plagueis would be a gross understatement. She has been one of our most dedicated and active members over the last month, completing her Jedi Hunter requirements well before the 21 day minimum and still powering through even more activity.

Since her last promotion she has been a force in gaming, knocking out first 50 and then 100 clusters of fire, 2 and then 4 pendants of blood, and reaching rank 3 in the GMRG Society. She has also set her sights on the Shadow Academy to pass two courses from the Department of Leadership Studies and advance to rank 3 in the SA Society. Not limiting herself to amassing a pile of CF's or SA courses, Jai'de also threw herself into competition participation where she quickly fired off 5 separate competition entries. She went so far above and beyond the listed promotion requirements for her next rank that her exceptional activity netted her a first of what is assured to be many merit awards in the form of an Anteian Cross.

It is not every day that a Quaestor is able to write promotion requests for members such as Jai'de, and it is my honor to do so now. Her zeal for activity, positive attitude towards her fellow clan-mates, and words of wisdom for her leaders stand her amongst the best of Plagueis. Congratulations Jai'de, and may this be just another step as you continue your meteoric rise.

Primary reason: Since her last promotion in March Jai'de Serpens has continued to be a paragon of activity, going above and beyond simply fulfilling requirements for advancement. Coming to us by way of TOR it is no surprise that she has been one of the House's most active gamers since her last promotion, earning an additional 179 Clusters of Fire and 5 Pendants of Blood on her way from rank II to rank IV in the GMRG. She has, however, expressed her desire to grow as a member beyond gaming activity and has followed through on this by pushing herself into the Shadow Academy. She has completed six additional courses outside of the Journeymen Halls (bringing her average score to 99.45%!), earned a Dark Maven degree, and advanced to rank III in the Shadow Academy Society. She has also participated in four more competitions since reaching Guardian. Those contributions are laudable, but it is her activities that are harder to quantify that truly raise Jai'de above the standard benchmark of Journeyman activity. She is one of our most active members on IRC each and every day. Since her last promotion she has transitioned from a more passive channel lurker to blossom into a member that goes out of her way to try to drive IRC social interaction in a Clan that seems to default primarily to email correspondence. Additionally, she has been proactive in offering me invaluable assistance and advice since I have assumed the position of Quaestor. She has given her perspective on how Ajunta Pall and Plagueis as a whole market themselves to new members (informed by her real world experiences as a leader and recruiter), and that advice has been already incorporated into how we approach our new recruits. Finally, she has stepped forward as a conflict mediator between members, helping to prevent a number of situations where people were rubbing one another the wrong way from escalating into more corrosive conflicts.

Since I took the position of Quaestor, no member (new or old) has done more to contribute to our House's activity or overall health, and so it is with great pride I award Jai'de an Anteian Cross for her work.
