Ben was his usual helpful self during the Ninth Great Jedi War, being a staple on Internet Relay Chat (IRC) throughout the entire Vendetta. He participated in eleven (11) different events on behalf of Taldryan which was greatly appreciated. His multimedia submission was awesome to boot. For the current Taldryan-wide competition, Ben came through for us in a huge way making a great looking-website from scratch, as well as putting on all of the information in a very short amount of time (http://www.taldryan.net/feuds/2008Feud/index.html). On top of that, I managed to break some of the coding and he once again came through and fixed the site so that we could release the competition in a timely manner.

For his wonderful work on the site, as well as managing to upkeep it when newbs such as myself tamper with it, I believe this award is more than deserving.

Ben is not the activity-machine of some others in the Clan, but he has still managed to participate in 4 competitions, complete 3 SA exams, do 2 IG events, play 3 MP matches for the IGs and earn himself 16 CFs in general MP gaming. That alone would garner him a small merit medal. However, Ben goes beyond just the activity aspects of the DB and is a large part of Taldryan as our resident coding-guru. Just recently he has added in another new feature to the Taldryan site, coding in an expansive archive system for our use. Coupled with routine maintenance of the site since the last large re-design, I believe that Ben is more than deserving of this medal.

Ben here has done so much for Taldryan, and his last merit award for the Clan was last November. His continued competition participation, his recent gaming, and being accessible to those in the Clan on IRC to help with problems out of the blue or any website issues they have, is simply great. Beyond this, his input on Summit activities and his continued efforts with keeping up the Clan website has been outstanding and very appreciated. He just finished up a major overhaul of our Clan website which will really help out the administration duties plus it looks a great deal better and flows well. It is a pleasure that this will be my first official act as Consul of Taldryan. Very recently Ben has re-coded and re-designed the entire Taldryan site (www.taldryan.net). The site itself looks fantastic, while the admin-side of things is much more robust allowing us to do much more ourselves. The site is a wonderful resource for the Clan, and Ben has poured in numerous hours on making it even better than it was (it was arguably the best Clan site already). This, coupled with his continued activity both in competitions, IRC, e-mail and TT-submissions, I believe this token is more than enough. Thank you and congratulations!

Like Shad, Benny has been one of my nit-pickers and helped in handling obnoxious members and pointing out what is wrong with an article, why it won't work, and how to change it. His help in corraling the Wiki newbs has been greatly admired.
