I'll admit to being guilty of comparing people. People lie, generally, when they say they judge you strictly on your merits, because even there there is a comparison. Your attitudes, actions, reactions and words are always on display. And they will always kick up some memory in
someone.
When Windos first came to Tarentum, I remember a lot of fire and a willingness to do. Certainly, his history outline reflects his enthusiasm. Pretty much more than 50 Clusters of Fire shows enthusiasm. 193 of them and the person in question is definitely out there representing.
Since Windos' return to Clan Tarentum in September, he's stepped up to the plate and been willing to help Tarentum. His latest endeavor as team leader of The Praxeum, an initiation and orientation based battle team cum circle, has shown marked progress for House Gladius, and
Tarentum in turn. I, of course, cannot speak for any other position he holds or has held in the past few months other than what I've seen of him in Tarentum. Not only is he active, but unlike some Equites and Elders who are content to sit on the sidelines and watch new members
flounder and flail, Windos goes to lengths that are beyond what is required of him as either a member or a BTL. His willingness to walk people through until they're fully situated within both the Brotherhood and the Clan speaks volumes for a dedication that cannot be measured in
CF's or any other medal.
Subsequently, I endorse this recommendation of promotion to Battlemaster for Windos Helkin Bruth'Kothae. His earnest dedication cannot garner
enough thanks, but it is my sincere hope that this token of appreciation can reflect my personal thanks in scale.
By My Hand,
Maxamillian von Oberst-Tarentae,
Marshal of the Armies of Tarentum,
Proconsul of Clan Tarentum
Greetings Gents,
I would like you to consider elevating Windos to the rank of Battlemaster. Dranik and I have been discussing Equite and Knight elevations for sometime now, and Windos has been scoring at the top of the list in each discussion. I therefore provide you with our reccomendations, I leave the ultimate decision in your capable hands:
I, Battlemaster Sato Bruth'Kothae, do hereby recommend Windos Bruth'Kothae for elevation to the rank of Battlemaser with all the honours and rights entitled therein. I affirm that since his last elevation over eleven months ago, Windos' record of activity has continued to be noteworthy both in his ambition at compeitions, as well as his dedication to service.
Since his elevation to Warrior, Windos, has served capably in a variety of roles that were often left unrewarded. His roles include: 5 months as Magistrate to the Headmaster in which he helped to code the new Shadow Academy sites; 5 months as a Fiction Staff member, in which his input helped to steer the fictional aspects of the Brotherhood; and most importantly to Gladius, he took it upon his shoulders to lead the "Praxeum" training Circle. In his role as Sith Commander, Windos has been imensely successful in providing a standardised training regimen to each of the incoming Journeymen. This new approach under the capable leadership of Windos, has seen an increase in the Journeyman promotion/reward rates in our House.
After returning from his stint in Arcona (under good terms), Windos has continued to show good faith and a capable knack for leadership. His feedback to the House Summit is both welcome, and greatly appreciated. For his excellent service, I find him worthy of this elevation.
Sato Bruth'Kothae-QUA to Gladius
I , Obelisk Prelate Dranik, do henceforth and hereby recommend Windos Helkin Bruth'Kothae for Promotion to Battlemaster . Since I took over as Aedile to House Gladius Windos has stepped up to fill my shoes in the role of the Battleteam Leader. While I was commander of the Soul Whisperers and Windos of The Praxeum he still filled my shoes. When I took over as Aedile the Soul Whisperers were closed and The Praxeum opened. Windos was also able to do what I was unable to do. The Soul Whisperers would not become active in its role as a Training team, However, the Praxeum has been a very successful team. There is no doubt in my mind that their success is directly due to their Battleteam Leader Windos. On top of this role as Battleteam Leader, Windos has been a great advisor for myself. I have been able to, and have done so on countless times, approached Windos on IRC or in email with ideas and have very quickly gotten his honest feedback on the ideas. Windos, simply put, is a shining example of what a Battleteam Leader should be and is very easily, in my mind, one of the many shining stars of Gladius.
Since his last promotion Windos has competed and placed in many competitions within the Brotherhood. Looking at his History Outline shows the high level of activity that Windos has done. He has held several Advisor Positions to the Tribunes and Dark Council. And when I thought trouble was in the air due to real life, Windos was able to come back and return to that same extreme level of activity. It is for these reasons that I place this Recommendation for Windos for the Promotion to Battlemaster
