Rekio has informed me that the Corsair name will be grandfathered into the family system with your premission and that I should be able to change my name now to reflect my role in the family and contribute to our fiction to fill its requirement. Hope this is right.

Bit of character and personal development. I no longer see Raiju as beings solely obelisk in nature and after being mentored by three sith (all the Corsairs) I'd like to think their craving for power as rubbed off on him. Likewise, looking at the DB in general the Obelisk order is one of the many EH things stuck to our identity, if we are ever to truly move on from them I think the Obelisk order should be removed- that's just a personal feeling though. Besides, their interesting and all but not canon in any way - why should we try to alter something that we all love. :P

In the three months since his promotion, Raiju has not only displayed incredible initiative and ambition as a leader of House Tridens, but has also proven himself a valuable member of Clan Tarentum; one worthy of being called a Knight. By virtue of leading the House for a quarter - specifically by doing the majority of the House's weekly reports form November 2007 to date and hosting approximately 5 competitions - he has more than earned it. However, in addition to this, Raiju has also maintained a high level of activity as a member of Clan Tarentum participating in the Envoy Challenge, Tarentum History Month 2007 and also being active on IRC and the forums. As a mentor to Raiju and Master of his Masters, I move that he be allowed to forgo the Trails of Knighthood for the reasons stated above and be recognized as a Knight of Tarentum. Congratulations Raiju.

It is not often that we let members forgo their trial; neither is it often that a member will reach DJK so soon, but in both cases, I believe Raiju is more than worthy of this. Since I took over as Consul in December, Raiju has been the go to guy in Tridens. When both the QUA and AED suffered computer problems, Raiju stepped up. He submitted a proposal to me concerning new member advancement in the clan on his own free will.

The original intent was for Raiju to host a house competition as part of his trials, but he has already done this. Raiju does not let up and he is passionate about both his house and his clan. He could have abandoned the house, but he chose not to.

I hereby declare that Raiju has met or exceeded the expecations of a Dark Jedi Knight, and that he should be promoted forthwith to that rank, with all the priviledges, rights, and duties that come with it.
