Callus has been a member of this club for a mind blowing 20 years, has earned seals from 14 different vendettas, has guided three students through the ranks and even has 25 merit awards! And yet somehow, he has never received a Grand Cross. Well, I am here to rectify that! Callus has been a long standing member of clan Plagueis, originally joining us back in 2014, and while he has taken a few breaks over the years, he keeps coming back to us. Since his last award, Callus has participated in 6 competitions, including entries into both GJW XII and XIV to help the clan in their war efforts, earning 2 Seals of Wrath and 2 seals of Visions as well a Crescent with Sapphire Star for having his Battle Plan place 3rd in the Plag-Viszla feud and helping to bring home an extremely narrow victory for Plagueis.

While Callus may be a veteran member of both the club and the clan, that hasn’t stopped him from continuing to learn new things and has led to an additional 3 courses passed in the Shadow Academy as well as entering both the Shroud Syndicate and ACC participant societies. Despite being a Rogue, we saw Callus recently return to activity with the launch of Star Wars Hunters. Getting his gaming on with fellow members, Callus has earned 12 Clusters of Fire and advanced to rank VII in the GMRG. I truly hope this is just the beginning of a return for Callus!

Callus, congratulations and well deserved on your (somehow) first Grand Cross, you may be Rogue right now, but you will always have a home in Plagueis!

Our recently completed Plagueis Pro Bowl clan feud offered all of our members the chance to step up into a high stakes, high activity competitive environment. Va'nia Drellik, the artist formerly known as Callus, jumped down into the trenches and proved his mettle once again. During the competition, he entered 24 of 30 competitions and placed in 6 of them. He scored a first place finish in Week 2’s Graphics event, second place in Week 2’s Racing and Week 3’s Graphics and Trivia events, and third place in Week 1’s Graphics and Gaming events. His performance left him with 2 Amethyst crescents and 4 Sapphire crescents. Additionally, since his last recognition on Apr 28th, Va’nia entered another two competitions (for a total of 26), earned 29 Clusters of Fire and 79 Clusters of Earth from gaming, and 14 Clusters of Ice across 5 fiction activities. His efforts during our feud helped his team achieve victory, and continues to demonstrate the kind of activity we’ve come to expect from such a seasoned veteran.
