It is hard to find the proper words to describe ANYTHING that Thran does, but I will do my best. Besides being a constant and ridiculously zany presence on our Discord channel and many others, he is likely the most stalwart member of Clan Scholae Palatinae. In the short time since his promotion to Elder last month, Thran took our call to “Do all the things!” during our latest Ewok Hunt event between CSP and Taldryan and did just that. With two competitions left to be judged, Thran has netted participation in 19 of the 21 and placed in 7 of them, and placed first in at least the first two weeks of the event.

As it stands today, Thran has participated in 26 competitions and netted himself 12 placements. This earned him a Crescent with a Diamond Star, 3 with Ruby Stars, 3 with Amethyst, 1 with a Sapphire, 3 with Topaz, and 1 with a Quartz Star. Two of these were fiction activities where he put out 6456 words and earned himself 13 Clusters of Ice. He also participated in 18 gaming activities which scored him 32 Clusters of Fire and 311 Clusters of Earth and dabbled in 2 graphics competitions and gained 12 Clusters of Graphite along the way. Somehow, he managed to do all this while acclimating himself to his new role as Praetor to the Regent that he only assumed three weeks ago. One would think that might slow someone down, but Thran is apparently unstoppable.

It’s difficult, to sum up, all of the ways that Thran contributes to our clan, but as both an elder and titleholder, he does everything we could hope for and more. As a veteran member of the Clan and a Palpatine, he shows leadership by providing feedback and input to the Consul and Proconsul on everything from the use of Assets to Clan lore and story direction. He also serves as a perfect role model and motivator to our members and is great at encouraging others to push themselves to their limits and participate in as much as possible. He definitely keeps the conversation lively and fun. Foremost, he is an absolute asset to our clan. For his continued efforts, I am honored to recommend him for this award.
