Impetus has been without a doubt one of the most active members of the DB I have ever met. Enumerating all she has done without ever asking for anything in return would be actually too long a task for a single medal request. As Fiction Tribune you already know that one of the major projects I was working on was the RPG Guide. This guide recently went live on the DB site, and Impetus is one of its largest contributors. Impetus is responsible for the creation of the entire Dice System section of the RPG Guide, which in itself was no mean feat, there were several Asst. Loremasters that worked diligently on the project with me, Impetus was on of the most active and prolific of the group.
It is without a doubt when I say that without Impetus continual support, activity and willingness to create part of the guide itself that the RPG guide isn't still in some obscure creation stage. For Impetus' work, leadership, and fellowship within the DB, I can not say enough. Impetus is a natural mentor, a hard worker, and enters into her duties with a devotion that can not be found in many areas of this club. It is with solemn honor that I recommend Impetus M'nar be granted a Ruby Scepter.

Impetus came to us earlier this summer looking for ways to up his resume, and help the Brotherhood as a whole. He wasted no time in going to work with me on our fictional department, in which he helped write several fictional updates and brain stormed ideas up with the Headmaster and myself. As a Magistrate to the Headmaster, Imp was always on time, and never afraid to give his two cents on ideas regarding the Shadow Academy. It's a shame he had to retire, but his hard work has not gone un-noticed. Thanks Imp, you'll be missed.

Impetus has been an Epis for almost exactly a year and five months. In that time, Impetus has been arguably one of the most active members in the entire Brotherhood. To show for it, Impetus has accrued the following: a Grand Cross of the Dar Side, 3 Steel Crosses, an Anteian Cross, a Seal of Loyalty, 29 assorted Crescents, 25 Clusters of Fire, 11 Legion of the Scholars, 14 Seals of Unity, 9 Seals of Remembrance, a Silver Nova, Dark Mavens in Service, Writing, and Philosophy, a Dark Savant in Writing and Philosophy, and a Dark Side Scroll.
Impetus has served on the Wiki staff for over a year, is the current Clan Trainer for CP in the ACC, was Magistrate to the Headmaster of the Shadow Academy for about 5 months, and spent about a month as BTL in House Calliburnus in CSP. The recommendations from Eludajae and Taigikori give you an idea of the scope of Impetus' contributions outside the Clan. Quite simply, I don't think anyone in the Brotherhood realizes how much Impetus has contributed, due to the diverse nature of the work.
What all has Impetus contributed during this time of such varied service? Not more than a month after transferring to House Satal Keto from CSP, Impetus, with the help of Eludajae, created a fictional event series entitled Mirror, Mirror, spanning two message board run-on's and two IRC RP sessions, all of this done, by the way, without any help from, or even suggestion by, Clan Plagueis' leadership. During GJW IX, Impetus helped proofread and spellcheck ACC posts. As Magistrate to the Headmaster, Impetus wrote fictional Shadow Academy updates and helped with the development of two new courses. I can tell you that whether or not she has held an official position, Impetus has been a leader in Clan Plagueis since the day she stepped foot here. Be it the mentoring and helping of younger members, or the willingness to step up to the plate and do something when she saw an area that could be improved, Impetus is the very definition of a good leader.

A Ruby Scepter is intended for the mentors of the Brotherhood, and Impetus has been exactly that. Her work as Clan Trainer, M:HM, and Loremaster aside, Impetus has helped mentor me. As a relatively new leader to the Brotherhood, I have on several occasions asked her opinion. The description for the Ruby Scepter reads that a member will have contributed in the areas of instruction, invention, and mentorship. This describes Impetus perfectly. It was with great respect and honour that I request Impetus be granted a Ruby Scepter with the hope that she will continue to mentor me and the membership of Clan Plagueis and the Dark Jedi Brotherhood at large.
