Ah Celahir, my predecessor and one of the better Consuls we have seen in recent years, this guy held Arcona together when many others might have failed. He faced the dissolution of the Clan’s and managed to turn all of the anger that a lot of people felt about being downgraded and channelled it intoactivity to try and keep spirits around Arcona up, and it worked. People worked harder than ever before to try and prove that we were worthy of becoming a Clan once more, and it’s a plan that is still shamelessly plugged now by my summit and I. However, to say that Celahir is a one-trick pony would be woefully unfair, as he has many more strings to his bow than simple leadership. I won’t go into the nitty-gritty of his specific activity here, but he has shown himself capable of coding, writing, drawing as well as general activity such as courses, his previously mentioned leadership as well as his humour which keeps spirits up throughout the House on a constant basis. Celahir was a fantastic leader for the Clan/House and his devotion since stepping down has shown little sign of wavering, and I feel that such dedication should be rewarded. Cel, you’re awesome; keep it up dude and congratulations.

With ten months of constant leadership, a work ethic that breached all expectation and an approachability that dwarfs most careers, Celahir has done more than his fair share for Arcona and as a result, I believe he should be rewarded. Stepping into the shoes of Consul of Clan Arcona, Celahir had some very large shoes to fill and this was something he managed to do exceedingly well. His constant presence and his ability to rectify any mishap, situation or quarrel did not go unnoticed and the unrelenting dedication he showed to Arcona during times of struggle exemplified his heart-felt devotion to making not only Arcona, but the brotherhood as a whole, a much nicer place to be. Assuming the title of Consul toward the end of June, Celahir hit the ground running, establishing clear frameworks and foundations within Arcona. He immediately began wiki reforms, BattleTeam reorganisation and a general clean up. After this, he proceeded to build yet more bridges between Arcona and other clans with the Arconan presence within the Tarentum Run-On “The King and the Gods”, wherein Celahir along with volunteers participated in a bilateral storyline with Tarentum. Not only within a directly DB-related form did his influences reach however; having reinvigorated the Arcona website, and the Arcona Quote-Database, Celahir was able to provide a sense of unity within the clan through this item. When the removal of Clan status came about over the Dark Brotherhood, Celahir was forced to make some tough decisions and completely reshape the clan, even after initiating such an intensive restructuring previously; again, Celahir shot to the fore he made some difficult decisions and began from step one without as much as a sigh. The eminence of his unfaltering loyalty to Arcona never lagged as he pushed stronger and harder to do the best he could, with limited resources, to provide Arcona and the Brotherhood with a sense of camaraderie and fellowship. This was achieved through a complete reshuffle of Arcona’s battleteams, the promotion of activity within the Disorder event (In which he acquired a Gold Nova for his efforts within the winning Battleplan) and through his overwhelming loyalty to each and every member of the clan. It is fair to suggest that Celahir was, and always will be, one of the most significant members to pass through the ranks of Arcona. The lasting effects of his tenure as Consul will be felt for some time; he will always remain a vital pillar in the structure of Arcona and it is for all the reasons mentioned above that I would like to recommend him for a Steel Cross. I am recommending this Steel Cross because this member (partnered with another) was able to uncover a bug in the Prestige System that...frankly...wasn't easy to find. He demonstrated dedication and tenacity in the analysis of the Prestige system; coming up with the math required to calculate member prestige WITHOUT insider information on the actual values used in Prestige calculation.

In doing so, Timeros and Celahir were able to increase the Prestige of many members who were being shorted due to an error with Seal calculations.

Celahir has once again shown how significant he is as part of the Arconan mechanism with his recent activity and willingness to contribute to Arcona as a whole. The Arcona website was once a fundamental piece of equipment in an Arconan’s repertoire and, in recent years, it had fallen into disrepair. A summit-propelled project was undertaken to reinvigorate the website and Celahir jumped at the chance, offering his truly remarkable coding skills in the project, becoming the driving force behind its completion. He manually edited many of the pages, with the help of the site’s original creator – Orv – Which was a long and arduous process; Celahir happily took it on board and really hit the ground running with the project with no want of reward and as an act of voluntary work on behalf of the Arconan summit.

He successfully re-established a connection between the original site and Arcona.darkjedibrotherhood.com and began rewriting one page at a time, all the while consulting the summit with enthusiasm and passion about what he should do next. He poured many hours of work into re-working the access for the summit, completing the ‘fleet’ page, including all of its sub-pages (including the manual write up of EVERY ship in the Arcona Order of Battle, which was no small feat due to the archaic coding on the site), he modified the ‘Master-Student’ page and the ‘titles’ page all with integrity and an air of pride for his work.

Not once did he express any feeling of obligation to the summit and he acted as a workhorse really developing a sound and useful tool to add back into the Arconan and DJB community. He has been a VERY useful individual to the summit over the past two weeks whilst he was completing the website and it is for this reason that I request that he be rewarded by means of a Steel Cross.

You’ve been a fantastic help Cel and without your input, this project would’ve been entirely redundant. On behalf of the entire Arconan summit, Thank you.

Over the past GJW Celahir has been integral to the progression of House Galeres. having been thrown into the real world outside of the Dark Brotherhood, Cel was expected to drop off the map; however, he still maintained face and he still maintained significant presence. He was instrumental in the success of Arcona during the Ge'tal Gaan and Holocron Wiki pages through his graphical knowledge and his understanding of page layout. He participated in a grand total of thirteen Great Jedi War events, placing with two Golds, One Silver and One Bronze. This is a phenomenal level of activity from a leader who has outside commitments removed from his control.

Celahir has done more than just hard graft. His inspiration and presence was admirable. He was always there with the members, communication and reassuring when issues arose and it was Celahir to whom Talos (The House Aedile) turned for advice. Zandro and I feel that this level of dedication more than ticks the boxes of the Steel Cross requirements for services to ones house or clan and more. Similarly, the amount of work displayed by Celahir goes above and beyond the specific requirement for activity over an extended period of time through his continuing tutorship of the members through all four weeks of the War.

Without a doubt, Celahir has been a significant player within the Summit during the last Great Jedi War and as such, we feel it is necessary to reward him in kind.

I am honoured to be recommending Celahir for a Steel Cross for his hard work and dedication throughout the Independence Games 2013. He was active and participated in events, trying to keep himself an active and involved member of Clan Arcona and House Galeres.

Though Celahir took place in seven competitions, showing a great amount of effort and managing to place in three of the competitions that he participated in.

The bloke has been doing stuff for the past few months, taking on the role of marking the Cryptology exams in the SA and doing loads of stuff in the IGs.
