Archangel Palpatine, an unstoppable force so they say, has more than backed that up recently, going on an absolute binge when it comes to activity. He has written 6309 words of fiction, 965 run on words, passed 1 Shadow Academy course, graded 49 Shadow Academy courses, and participated in 24 competitions! More importantly, 17 of those competitions were for the big Clan event ‘Midnight’, which was the second highest tally for House Excidium and the fourth highest tally Clan wide. As a result, he played a key role in leading by example for House Excidium, which is the absolute best thing to see from someone not in any official position. During these efforts, he earned a Crescent with Diamond star, Crescent with Ruby star, 4 Crescent with Amethyst stars, 4 Crescent with Sapphire stars, 4 Crescent with Emerald Stars, 15 Clusters of Ice, 3 Clusters of Graphite, 5 Scrolls of Foundation, and a Legion of Scholar.

In addition, Archangel has been of great help to me in Excidium’s efforts to define our new fleet. He was one of the key participants from the very beginning, and became one of the original authors of a 16 page ‘Excidium Order of Battle’ that was submitted to the Clan Summit in December to help inform Fleet purchases for the House. That wasn’t accepted as is, and thankfully he was willing to help revamp Excidium Fleet’s fictional story, create a new purpose for the ships and their interactions, helped create its cosmetics look, and created a list of various ports for the Fleet. This was a sustained effort over three months that involved a great deal of discussion. Even more awesome, when it came time to write a wiki, he assisted Excidium in writing the majority of its ‘Fleet’ section. In addition, he co-authored a 12 page ‘CSP Alternate Order of Battle’ for consideration by the Clan.

As Excidium’s Quaestor, I fear I can’t properly express my gratitude towards his crucial additions to Excidium’s future, but I can recommend him for a Grand Cross. Fleet and wiki work requires a lot of detailed thought and it doesn’t get as much attention as it should. In addition to his amazing project work his powerhouse of activity as of late are impressive, especially his dominance in the ‘Midnight’ campaign. This was a huge Clan event and the big man definitely carried a lot of weight. Given all of the above, I believe he has earned this award. Therefore, I am pleased to recommend that Archangel Palpatine be awarded a Steel Cross with the deepest gratitude I can muster.
