Fremoc has come out of nowhere to be one of the real surprises of the Dark Council. By far the "youngest" of the DC, he has truly grasped what his role is on the DC and has not wasted anytime in ensuring that he does all he can for the club. Since taking over as Fist, Fremoc has pulled the DB gaming scene kicking and screaming into something a bit more currently. We are finally able to use consoles for our gaming nights, while also not sticking soley to Star Wars games (as what we currently have are extremely outdated). He has spearheaded the DB's involvement in The Old Republic, and avenue of great activity for the DB going forward. He has reached out to other clubs to re-start the ICTE (now ICGE) while also getting us back on Battlestats. He has looked at finding way to improve the GMRG. Finally, his own personal activity is astounding with countless CF's falling into his lap. In the end it is quite clear that Fremoc is a Councillor through and through and his rank should reflect that. Congratulations!

DJM Halcyon Taldrya Deputy Grand Master

Fremoc is one of the youngest members of my Dark Council, and yet one of the most motivated and inspired. Since taking on Fist from Smoke, Fremoc has spearheaded efforts to bring more console gaming into the Brotherhood, an effort really required for the Brotherhood to move into the twentyfirst century. On top of that, Fremoc has worked on relations with several other clubs by way of a renaissance of the ICTE. Evolution of these old and failed programs into a something useful for the modern age has been no doubt difficult going and a fair bit of work and research. Aggressively pursuing special events and continuing to test out what platforms that the membership will participate in, he has also proved central in events, having run the Independence Games MP sections. Fremoc has also been one to lead from the trenches, having accumulated hundreds of Clusters of Fire as he shows people what a member can do in Gaming, in the Royal Guard. While he's only been in the spot for six months, he has shown me that he was more than capable of expanding the horizons of what Gaming means to the Brotherhood. That work is well beyond the scope of what is expected of a Prelate. It is for that reason that I am more than happy to reccomend Fremoc for promotion in thanks for his work. Thank you. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith.

What does it take to make a name for yourself in this club? Is it to work to seamlessly integrate the largely inactive elders and the highly motivated journeymen? Is it to temper a dozen bickering voices into a cohesive stand, a single plan for success? Is it the ability to pull together all of the rage and fury of the membership and create something better than what you started with? Yes. All of these things are not reserved solely for those credited with high ranks and enormous responsibilities. Tsainetomo did all this as a Quaestor. When others took the blow of reorganization to the dome, Sai refused to get knocked down. He rallied, working his members into a frothy mix of ambition and desire. It was all that I had hoped for, and the reason we reorganized in the way that we did. The successes of the renewed Clan, Naga Sadow reborn, are the successes of the man Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow. The pride I feel for having my home succeed in such a way is due to this man, a cousin in the Keibatsu, a friend from my younger years in this club. And he did this expecting no reward save the glory of Sadow, of the Brotherhood. That singular drive often doesn't come lightly into the minds and actions of the equites in this club. If it does, it is often tamped down by the resistance of those they would lead. But patience is Sai's Ally. As he often says 'all things will be revealed in the fullness of time'. And now, I feel proud to reveal to him another rank. More than well-earned and probably somewhat overdue, Tsainetomo already acts the part. It's time to make it official, and promote him. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith

Since his last elevation on 5/28/08, Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow has shown himself to be a leader of the highest caliber. He has served admirably as Proconsul, Aedile of both HNS and HLK, Quaestor of HLK and HNS (during a time when QUA leads the newly reformed houses), DCM, and rollmaster. He has also been inducted into the Halls of those who bear the name of Sadow, which illustrates his outstanding performance. He has earned in this time many awards, including a Sapphire Blade, at least 20 seals, 3 SC, 1 AC, 2 DC, 1 GN, 3 SN, 4 LSS, 1 SoL, and more crescents than I can count. A most impressive array that bespeaks of his hard work and excellence. His participation in every war and Vendetta as one of the key players for CNS is much appreciated. The work put into the HNS/TAR/TDYN tri-feud was outstanding besides the 4+ other comps he has run. What truly makes Sai stand out is his ability as a leader. In every position he has held he excels, motivates, and innovates. His door is indeed always open. He has a cool head but speaks up when things need to be spoken about. He has mentored people to DJK and continues to do so. He was also key in our return to Clan status. I stepped down and handed the reins to him after we survived the Clan to House change, and he ran with it and did very well. I am proud of him. In short, he represents what a truly good and dedicated member of this club we all love should be. In my humble opinion, he should be elevated to EQ4 forthwith.

~Macron Goura Sadow, Son of Sadow

In my opinion, a leader should be willing to listen to his members, elder and newer alike, yet be willing to take a stand when those much older than him are detrimental to the overall success of his unit. What has surprised me about Sai is his ability to do exactly this and do so in a way that does not bring disharmony to his members on a personal level, nor the clan as a whole.

While the DB can be filled with petty political nonsense, Sai has made a strong effort to avoid the politics and focus solely on the task of elevating House Naga Sadow to Clan status. I am proud to say that he has done this and has done so with a strong backing from his fellow leaders, elder members, and general membership. To have such a strong devotion and determination to his people and towards improving the status of his clan, Sai has proven himself to be a strong, well-rounded leader the Brotherhood has been looking for.

For his hard work, determination, and unfaltering loyalty to improving the “quality of life” for his members, I fully recommend Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow for the rank of Obelisk Primarch. May he be awarded all the rights and privileges that this rank provides. You’ve earned it, cousin!

-DA Shikyo Keibatsu Sadow Herald of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood

Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow has been one of the key proponents in Naga Sadow’s return to Clan status and has been one of the most dedicated leaders I have seen in a while. His history since his last promotion alone tells a story as he’s operated as Quaestor of House Ludo Kressh, Deputy Combat Master and as a Juror for the Chamber of Justice; of course these are all in addition to his service to Naga Sadow as Aedile, Quaestor and Consul. His service to the Naga Sadow has always been paramount, from his guidance of our members within a leadership position to his constant drive to lead by example through his activity in Brotherhood-wide events such as the Independence Games, as is evidenced by his numerous Nova and Crescents. Sai’s guidance with the unit has been focused on achieving and maintaining our status as a Clan, a task which was met by much fanfare from our members and achieved through decisions which had helped reshape the Naga Sadow we’ve all grown to live into a living adaptable machine rather than an aging dinosaur stuck in its ways. Through his motions, he prompted not only a co-operative event with Tarentum and Taldryan but also forged an alliance between our Clan and Taldryan. While I have not known Sai anywhere near as long as many of the members offering him their honours today, I am pleased to have been able to stand beside him in these endeavours and learn from his wisdom. It is my honour, along with my peers, to recommend Tsainetomo for this great honour. Congratulations my friend, you’ve earned it.

Templar Methyas Pepoi L’eonheart Proconsul of Clan Naga Sadow

When a Journeyman is due for promotion, we reference a list of information which details the requirements necessary before they can achieve the next rank along their path to power. However, once that Journeyman reaches the ranks of Equite, no such convenient list exists. Still, that doesn't prevent somebody from referencing the body of work an Equite has put together since their previous promotion, and put it forward as testament to their worthiness to reach the next rank before them.

Since Sai was last promoted on May 28th, 2009, the list of awards he's amassed is incredible. Several Crosses, considerable Crescents, several Legions of the Scholar, and many Seals for the previous Vendetta events. I would copy/paste the lot of them, but I don't want to flood this recommendation.

Suffice it to say, the Afro Jedi has done considerable work for himself, but that's not the point. In simple, the man had not just his fingers in the re-clanning pie, but had his arms up to his shoulders in it. Sai has also put his time in with a Tri-House feud, which was, for most everyone, an excellent opportunity to meet people they might not otherwise meet, bridging the gap between the houses and bringing more solidarity to the Brotherhood as a whole.
I can say I've basically come up in the reign of Sai, as I joined in what proved to be a tumultuous time indeed, and I've seen how he's wrestled the serpent of getting things in order, which provides an insight into the greater scheme of leadership, which sets an example to the newer people coming up. In addition, he's been very open to the ideas of others, and shows a great willingness to help these ideas come to light. This attitude is very vital, especially in an organization where participation is an “At Will” type basis.
I think one of the finest aspects of Sai would be the way he empowers his people to become more, and greater, than they were before they met him. I was a freshly minted Knight when I told Sai I wanted the open Battleteam Leader slot that was available, I had no experience, and went into it (pardon the pun) blind, but it was a tremendous experience, and Sai didn't let me stop at being just a guy making up new competitions for people who were happily active. He was active, he remained a steady voice, but never, ever really butted in. In addition, he made me feel valuable to the Summit, and was always as willing to hear my opinions as he was his AED and RM.
Really, I wouldn't be where I'm at now, if it weren't for him, pure and simple.

In closing, I think it's time to put Sai in the position of Obelisk Primarch. He's put almost two years into Exarch, and clearly done the work. The next step is inevitable, and is certainly due.

Omedeto Keibatsu San. - DJK Mirado Pepoi L'eonheart

Ever since a young apprentice then named Sai Alabaster Na'Ashar first graced the halls of Sadow Palace what was now nearly five years ago, Sai has been a fiercely passionate and brilliantly active member of Clan Naga Sadow. Even during the days it was once more a House, for the man now known as Tsainetomo Keibatsu Sadow Naga Sadow forever remained a Clan-in-waiting: for to Sai, since his very first day in his new office as the Quaestor of the House, his foremost duty has been to strive toward rebuilding the Clan that once was - and now, in no small part thanks to his efforts, is again. No greater dedication have I see in a member. Where many leaders could have run from the new responsibilities that that office placed on their shoulders,Sai remained determined, driven, and, most importantly, certain that House Naga Sadow would one day regain its place as one of the Great Clans of the Dark Brotherhood. In this, Sai's commitment as Quaestor was always clear, and his contribution to the Dark Brotherhood -- that is, the entire club as a whole -- a determining factor of his character. Unlike many, Sai has never been in it for himself; even whilst a House, he remained, forever, in it for his Clan. In his undying devotion to that flame that would burn again, he kept the fire alight, ensuring that one day his Clan would breath life again - as, indeed, it now has, and it burns all the brighter for it thanks to his commitment.

But there is much more to Sai than blind devotion alone. Where others might talk the talk, spouting empty rhetoric, but ultimately not walking the walking to back it up, Sai has been a driving force behind numerous revolutionary movements in the past year. It would be an essay in its own right to go into them all in detail, but to run off just a few:

Firstly, Sai has been pushing every member able to bear an apprentice, from the newest knight, to the greyest of old veterans, to face up to their responsibilities and take on the mentorship of the next generation; nothing is more important to the club right now, and Sai recognises this, working closely with his Summit team to drive forward these reforms, which more than just emails and rhetoric, Sai realises are about bringing about a change in the way elders and equites think about their contributions to the club going forward.

Secondly, Sai was critical in helping steward House Naga Sadow through the inevitably uneasy early period of transition, and the many transitions that have come in the months since, and remains a unifying voice between the old and new, his family and his friends, his clan and his brotherhood. Where there is a disagreement between members, Sai is always there, ready to weather the bursts of other's adrenaline if they flare up. In this, Sai takes the burden of pressure onto his own shoulders, in order to then rebuild the bridges that others had long believed impossible to rebuild. Unlike others, he is not afraid to stand up and say what he thinks; but, moreover, and far more importantly, he knows how to do this with tact and respect, being able to generate healthy discussion, rather than inflame rioting.

Thirdly, Sai has been a key, if not the key, figure in many of the primary activities Naga Sadow has seen during the past year. Twelve months ago, it was Sai who pushed hardest for the experimental ongoing run-on Unrest in the City, which still soldiers on strongly to this day. I doubted it was possible myself. I looked back on when Ashura had tried the impossible the previous year. But Sai was not put off by the past. He did not shy from the impossible. He had the drive and the courage to see it through. And looking at the run-on now, it continues to burn brightly as one of the core drivers of not only activity but team and community building.

Fourthly, but by no means finally, though as I said at the very start, to go into everything Sai has done would take a positive age, one of his most significant contribution recently has been his efforts with our friends Ronovi and Shaz'air in Tarentum and Taldryan respectively to together host an official Vendetta between the three Houses. Feuds are so seldom seen, the last formal one having been a long, long time ago, and it is a testament to Sai's -- and Ronovi and Shaz'air's -- abilities that they have been able to work together and run without complication a hugely fun and successful Feud.

Though I could go on, ultimately I would simply be restating the same fundamental point. Clan Naga Sadow is indebted to Sai's service as a Quaestor, as a friend, and as a driven and determined member in his own right. He is an example to all members, not just in Naga Sadow, but throughout the Dark Brotherhood, of a dedicated contributing member who continues to strive hard to ensure that this brilliant club thrives as strongly in another five years as it did all those years ago when first Sai Na'Ashar stumbled across a strange little website named the Dark Jedi Brotherhood.

All there is left for me to say is how deeply I hope that Sai's contributions to the Brotherhood continue for many more days to come, for the sooner this man can one day join the ranks of the Elders where he truly belongs the better, as his seat is ready and waiting for him. While one must of course take one small step at a time, it is with great optimism that I can now look ahead to when he is able to take that very last step.

My congratulations, as always, my friend, Clan Naga Sadow will be forever in your debt, Lord Xanos Zorrixor, Son of Sadow

Over the last year, Sai has been a member of the Naga Sadow summit. First taking office as PCON after Taig stepped down, followed by Aedile of Naga Sadow during the downsizing, followed by becoming Quaestor of Naga Sadow just before Disorder, and finally just a month ago, he became Consul of the reinstated Clan. For six of those months I served under him, as one of his QUA's, a BTL, and later the Aedile of Naga Sadow. I've never met someone that was more focused on his home, than Sai. His number one goal, while being the leader of our newly reformed Clan, was to achieve its rightful status as a Clan. To say the least, he achieved his goal as being the leader of Naga Sadow. He dealt with the insanity of myself (which is sometimes a feat in and of itself), as well as dealing with some of the different personalities each member brought to the table.

For two of the months he was Quaestor of Naga Sadow, he had no Aedile. Once during Disorder, where he had no Rollmaster as well, and pushed the house to participate in every event possible, even though it was an Order War. But in December as well after I was named Fist of the Brotherhood, he didn't have an Aedile, and called most of the shots during that time with the assistance of Teu, who was the Rollmaster at the time.

Sai helped organize the tri-feud between Tarentum, Taldryan, and Naga Sadow, which Naga Sadow came out first by one or two events over Taldryan. He provided several fictional plot updates as well as grading some of the events alongside Ronovi and Sidarace. He continued to push the Unrest in the City Run On for our members to participate in. A run on that has now entered its 13th Month of Existence, that was originally Sai's brain child last year. Its become a place where anyone who wants to get some character development done, as well as influencing the outcome of Naga Sadow's history, they can take part in.

I can go on and on about everything Sai has done since his last promotion, and how Sai's changed Naga Sadow. He's done a magnificent job in making Naga Sadow a better, more unified unit. I hope to see more from Sai in the future, but to show my appreciation for him getting us back to where we once where and making us better, I'm recommending you for a promotion bud. Congrats on achieving Equite 4, my friend.

Fremoc Pepoi Sadow Fist of the Brotherhood Son of Sadow

There isn't much about Sai that hasn't already been brought into the light. He replaced me as Proconsul of Naga Sadow in April 2010, and has been on a roll ever since. This guy has literally breathed life back into the House, which he successfully got elevated back to Clan status. His leadership spans many facets of Brotherhood activity, including the latest Independence Games; where Naga Sadow did quite well for themselves. So what do we actually look for in the last tier of Equite promotions? There has to be a real drive to want to see every faction of this club move forward, and overcome the hurtles that has plagued us for too long. Sai has shown more initiative and drive than nearly every other Unit commander, taking everything to the next level. For this, I'm proud to recommend that he be elevated to the rank of Equite 4, and take his place amoung the elite. Congratulations. ~Taigikori Aybara Dupar; Headmaster of the Brotherhood

I have been working with Sai for the last several months when I took the reigns up as Rollmaster for House Naga Sadow, in that time I have learned a lot about the man who is the top leader of the House and now Clan. He is willing to listen to any idea that anyone has, he deals with problems as they arises. He has worked hard and it has shown in the number of awards he has recieved in the last year, since his last promotion. Congradulations Sai.

OP Teu Pepoi HMR QUA

There are many variables that must be looked after and maintained for any unit to succeed. A good leader will manage them. A great leader will meld those variables into a fully cohesive unit. For Naga Sadow, there are a number of variables that had to be properly managed. The combination of older members who are hands-on, coupled with newer members who wish to place their mark can be volatile. Sai is one of the few people I have seen who has managed to get both personalities to focus on a common goal. Without Sai's specific style of leadership, I do not believe Naga Sadow could have become a Clan at this time. I know what it takes to run a Clan effectively, and Sai has managed to do it under difficult circumstances. Congratulations on your achievement, and this promotion is well worth it!

There are two aspects to Shikyo's work: That which can be seen and that which can't be. For most people Shikyo is the guy who does lightsabers and warbanners for people. This is a work his continues to do to this day, and has done countless of them since his last reward. On top of that he was a major part in the "Herald Style Hannukah" that saw many new lightsabers and robes offerred to the membership. He also continues work on the Headshot selector as well as images for the future possessions. Overall his work is constant and consistent, and this is just a token of our appreciation.

DJM Halcyon Taldrya Deputy Grand Master

It's easy to see the work of Shikyo Keibatsu. His hand is seen in a lot of work, from the easily visible expansions to the robes and sabers selectors and the warbanner work to the silent behind the scenes work that has yet to be released, like the Headshot selector or possessions work. While we all wait with baited breath to see the results of this long-term work, it's more than time to reward him for the work we all have seen, with a Grand Cross of the Dark side for his collection. A small token of our esteem, we all hope to continue benefiting from his talented work. Thank you, Shikyo. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith

Ji has thrown the dice and appears to have managed to secure a concept that will thrive in the DB. He has taken the time and effort to help build a House from scratch while also building a new identity into the DB (damn lighties). He has taken his own ideas and channeled them into a place where others may also share their won creative efforts. He has kept together a wide-range of members, many from different Clan-cultures in the DB and meled them into a new identity. While this experiment is still ongoing, Ji should be recognized for the efforts that were required to get it all up and running. As such, his is more than deserving of this award. Congratulations!

There are some people who have brilliant ideas, wonderful work ethic, and the will to see it through, yet they meet a stone wall of stagnant traditions, of stuborn adherance to the old ways of failure. This is often a recipe for the most charred of burnouts. Thankfully, this is not what happened to Ji. Recognizing what he was dealing with, Ji left the place where he could not affect the changes that he wanted to see and grew his own future. Recruiting from the dead, the disenchanted, the fringe of our club and gambling it all on a concept that could very well go sideways on him in our club, Ji proved that without risk, there is no innovation. He's risked it all. And here we are, watching with interested eyes how this grand expirement works, to see if it survives the acid test of War intact, if it outlasts the novelty. So far, we've seen a lot of good coming from him. And today, I'm happy to encourage his efforts by way of a Grand Cross. ~Muz Ashen, your House's Grand Enemy.

It is sometimes easy to overlook the job that Korras does as Master-at-Arms. When everything runs smoothly no one questions anything. It is only when something goes run that people notice what happens behind the curtains and begin questioning things. It has been quite some time since people have really noticed the MAA, and that is quite a compliment. The MAA office has been running smoothly and efficiently for quite some time now without any real hiccups. Request are completely in very timely manners, with proper follow-ups done when needed. The last AWOL check also came off without a hitch, and has ensured a process that can be used time and again. It has been some time since Korras has been rewarded for his efforts, and it is about time that it happens. Congratulations and keep up the fantastic work

DJM Halcyon Taldrya Deputy Grand Master

There are a lot of high profile jobs in the Brotherhood, positions and duties that generate a lot of attention as a matter of course. Those people are easy to reward, easy to remember because so many people see their work and watch out for them. But there are even more gigs in this club that, when they are doing their job exceptionally well, no one even notices. Master at Arms is one of those positions. Korras and his praetor have worked ridiculously hard to reduce their reaction time and get requests processed within a few hours of submission. Korras has been fair and level handed in a position that typically catches the most claims of bias out of us all, which is difficult enough t o accomplish. His diligence and work ethic are necessary to the smooth running of this club, and I am pleased to award him a Grand Cross of the Dark Side for his collection as a token of our esteem and thanks. ~Muz Ashen, Dark Lord of the Sith
