Hitokiri is without a doubt, the singular essense of HOO. He is both Aedile and Envoy and has been for nearly four months now. Not only does he help me with everything on a day to day basis he furthers the house in ways that only he can truely do. Hitokiri is a people person through and through and is instrumental in creating a friendly atmosphere within the house. He has personally mentored over 10 members to ACO rank and above and is responsible for retaining the new members that we now have. Within Arcona and HOO he is perhaps one of the top few guys in terms of activity and dedication. He has created numerous comps and events for us, including most recently setting up an ACC Ladder for a Clan-war within Arcona. His daily communications and personal emails to every member really keeps the house together and shows everyone he cares. Not only within Arcona but members of the DB at large are getting to know Hitokiri and are learning his name. I would have liked to promote him to DJK for he has filled all of the static requirements but leadership wise it is best to give him time to mature. As such I wish to reward my Aedile with his first Steel Cross

Where can I begin with Hitokiri? First off I must say he is simply an amazing AED. In running the day to day communications in the message boards where he never shuts up, gives advice, starts topics, and moderates the guys he is a beacon of communication. Aside from that he always helps and gives me input and even goes ahead on his own initiative when things are needed, a true mark of a leader. Likewise he has created and ran two events so far for the house and has been our best competitor winning this months MT third place and getting several clusters during the ROS. For HOO he was our best gamer and was a great morale booster for the troops. He has done numerous ACC battles and is a damn good writer as his record shows. He has completed every task his master Quejo has set for him and every task warranted by the Arcona promotional guidelines as well. Hitokiri goes above and beyond always and is a well liked leader by our guys. He has matured a long way and has been able to superbly lead this house as Aedile officially and unofficially for over two months now. Truth be told hitokiri IS HOO, without him it would not have a linchpin member that holds everyone together so well. He is truely an asset to HOO, Arcona, and the DB as he is quickly showing.

Hitokiri has been a beacon of activity since the day he joined, always striving to chip in and motivate his House. I'm certain that he somehow breathes forum posts, and his diligence in every task he is assigned is most impressive. I heartily agree with Octavians words, and wish to recommend Hitokiri for this well-deserved promotion.

What can I say about Hitokiri other than he is an outstanding member. Not only has he participated in the RoS but he is a driving force in Oriens Obscurum. I know I'm not his QUA but I would like to award this to him for many different reasons. As his Master he has completed every task I have ever asked him to do. He is strong in the ACC he plays Allegiance, He participates in many different competitions and this medal is long over due. I forsee Hitokiri becoming a great leader within the DB and I would like to thank him for everything he has done. I'm sure if you ask anyone if he is deserving of this award they will tell you yes because he is such a great guy and great member. To tell you the truth with more members like him the DB would be a much better place. Congratulations Hito you deserve this.

To these ends Hitokiri has gone above and beyond, besides clanwide competitions he has competed for me several times in the Seek and Destroy run-on which he blew me away with his run-on skills as well as his writing and graphic skills in Boral Location and Character Codex comps to name but a few HOO events. Hitokiri has also designed and created many avatars and banners for anyone who asks and this shows among other ways that he simply is a friendly, helpful, active member. Not only this but he has been chosen Aedile as well as House Envoy showing that without a doubt he is an asset to HOO and Arcona as a whole. Also Hitokiri always has a positive attutide and shows everything one wants in a leader and a friend to his peers. Hitokiri never fails to give me hope and pride in my house and its abilities.
