It has been quite a while since Gaius Julius Caesar has received a promotion - in fact, it’s been almost nine years. And as the years have gone by, it’s clear that his work and activity ought to be recognized. Unfortunately, while some of his activity logs have been lost due to the various changes to the Brotherhood website, I firmly believe that he has more than earned his promotion to the third Equite rank.
Since his last promotion, according to the site’s numbers, Julius has participated in 140 competitions. He has written over 15,000 words for writing competitions, passed 63 Shadow Academy courses, and earned seven Shadow Academy degrees. He has also amassed a variety of awards and accolades, including five Clusters of Graphite, 37 Clusters of Ice, four Crescents with Emerald Stars, four Crescents with Sapphire Stars, five Crescents with Amethyst Stars, eight Crescents with Ruby Stars, four Crescents with Diamond Stars, a Bronze Nova, two Anteian Crosses, and two Steel Crosses. In the latest Rite of Supremacy, he earned 12 Seals of Fury, and in the most recent Plagueis event, Nightmare Before Sithmas, he participated in eight out of ten competitions. His activity in competitions and his presence on Telegram are indicative of his dedication to the clan and its members.
However, it’s not just his participation in events that warrants praise. Since the beginning of 2018, Julius has been a regular member of the clan podcast (PlagCast), offering his insights from his non-leadership role in Plagueis. He has served as a mentor for various members who wish to see their work in the club improve, and he has consistently served as a team player when it comes to vendettas and events, encouraging members to participate and offering his services as needed. Most recently, Julius has expressed interest in creating more competition outlets for Journeymen, as his wish is to provide more opportunities for our lower-ranked members to shine. This is immensely admirable to me, and it proves that you do not have to officially be in a leadership position to actually be a leader.
It is my honor and privilege, consequently, to recommend Julius’s promotion to EQ3. It’s been a long time coming, my friend, and you have truly earned it.

Julius may not hold a leadership position, but he is a community leader, always reaching out and checking in with others, whether that be in everyday conversations or pushing for activity in competitions or events. Julius is someone I have seen constantly striving for not only the best in himself, but others as well. When a call went out for members to join the PlagCast as a host, Julius stepped up and offered to be the voice of the “regular member” and has done an incredible job so far, adding his own unique perspective to the podcast and both answering and asking questions that his fellow hosts may not have considered due to their own leadership positions. I am always impressed by what Julius has to offer, and I look forward to seeing what the future has in store for him. This promotion is a long time coming and well deserved, my friend - now Quit Your Wining!

Julius has been a highly valued member of the clan for some time, and it is a great pleasure to finally recommend him for a promotion. Though he’s been in and out of the clan over the years, whenever he’s been around, he’s been active and engaged. He’s always been willing to offer ideas and thoughts from his extensive experience in the DB. As Ronovi mentioned, Julius has been a regular on the PlagCast since its reboot and has been an excellent addition to the team. Working with him has been a pleasure, and I hope to see a great deal more in the future.
Congratulations on this promotion - hope to see more in the future!
