Mauro has been an absolute beast since his last recognition. Taking up the role as BTL of the newly created Battle Team Tython Squad he was able to recruit 11 members in a matter of weeks. Next he has already managed to organize a Battle Team event featuring 5 sub competitions that already has participation from all members of his team and the event still has another week left to run. Additionally on a personal level he has participated in 14 competitions, where he earned 2 Crescents with Ruby Star, and 1 Crescent with Sapphire Star. His writing abilities are still superior where he collected 9 Clusters of Ice writing over 4500 words of fiction.

Mauro Wynter is a great addition to the House Summit. Throughout his history in the DJB he has had great tenures in Summit positions in another Clan in the past and his activity level when RL was too busy was always through the roof. Since his RL life has slowed he has picked right back off where he left off. First by winning the most recent House event “The Last Voyage of Kesaret” and then by his extreme amounts of activity in the GJW. Since his last recognition he has gone on to participate in 51 competitions and 15 of those being during the GJW. He has gone on to earn 11 Crescents out of 36 of those competitions. Doing the math on that means he earns a Crescent on average to every 3 competitions he enters. His ability to write is even more prevalent in his earning of 14 Clusters of Ice! Stepping out into the art scene he has netted a whooping 25 Clusters of Graphite as well! No small feat. Lastly he went on to complete 7 Shadow Academy courses where he passed 7 courses and earn both a Sage and Savant respectively. His activity, ideas to inspire and create was the main reasons we accepted him as our BTL. I’m excited for his future on the Summit here and I see nothing, but great things he will bring to the House and the DJB as a whole in his future. Congrats brother!

When Satele Shan's Summit began a the search for a new Battle Team Leader, Mauro's name came up a couple of times. After reading his application I see why. His novel concept of an internal security unit in Clan Odan-Urr has taken off and has gained the support of the Clan Summit. He is currently starting work and creating a team to develop the Wiki which will provide a resource outlining the fictional creation and life of the new team. He also has completed the first chapter of the fictional foundation for the team, rooted in trying to prevent future turn coat SenNet operatives from crippling the Clan's intelligence network. All of this barely four days after being appointed and after being highly active during the Great Jedi War.
On top of all of this I am glad to now call him a friend and I look forward to continuing to work with him developing the Battle Team and the House.

Mauro really came into his own during the war, with a high participation rate and, most unusually, an ability to get his fiction entries written and submitted well before the last minute. As Max detailed above, this is only the cap on a wide variety of activity over the past year. His Sage launched him to SAS XII, which remains a rare and impressive feat.
Over the last few days, I’ve gotten to see his initial efforts on Shan’s new battleteam. I have to say, Mauro’s energy and dedication have been astounding, and the quick recruitment of ten members is going to be only the first of many successes for him. This is a case where a grand cross, while definitely well-deserved, is almost certainly only the beginning.
Congrats, Mauro. I look forward to seeing what you can do.
