Over the past several months, Clan Plagueis has been working to change their identity. The move required countless hours of brainstorming, hard work, research and communication from several individuals. And each member involved contributed something unique to the process and the overall, finished product (http://www.darkjedibrotherhood.com/wiki/index.php?title=Clan_Plagueis_Prospectus).

Yzarc was instrumental in establishing the premise of a stratocracy government which spurred the entire basis for the redraft. It was through countless hours of discussion that we decided on rewriting the clan history, developing the pieces for the government (of clan and a system), creating military ranks (Army, Leadership titles, planet government, merit system - see Clan Plagueis Officer Ranks - and more). And, like always, he was tasked with proofreading the entire, bloody thing and picking my brain (aka fixing my continuity mistakes).

Thank you for all the hard work on this, Yzarc. It will spur another huge, impressive phase in our continued clan development!

Zarc continues to be one of one Clan Plagueis' hardest workers. As a Proconsul, he finds enjoyment in seeing others succeed; often relegating him to duties as an advisor, a co-creator, a mentor and a proofreader. All of which are necessary, but thankless jobs in a clan.

The manifestation of his work can be seen in the development of the six clan competitions (Legacy of Ferran, Current Events, Braecen Said What?, Caption Contest, We Love Cake, Honor Guard). Some of these directly affect the future (and development) of Clan Plagueis, while others provide weekly avenues for participation. With the 'opening of the dam' strategy he suggested, we have seen a tremendous amount of activity from our membership. And I directly credit him with the recent gluttony of Dark Jedi Knights in Clan Plagueis; many of whom used those competitions as a catalyst to the vaunted rank of the Journeymen Class. He also maintains a ledger of the Clan's activity, allowing us to monitor individual activity and gauge readiness for elevations and awards. In addition, he proofreads countless entries to help member's succeed in the greater DB arena.

As a leader, he also has several responsibilities. He is required to report bi-weekly, advertise his competitions, check in with his leaders, make sure weekly mentorship e-mails are being sent, that clan & house mailers are being audited, posting a "Star Wars News" article for his clan mates, advertising the ICTE, working with Koga on the weekly JA class, Ood on the forums, and mentoring his two Apprentices PRT Vorn & JH Ralph. All of this requires voluntary time, effort and consideration to see Plagueis grow.

Yzarc admirably serves as Proconsul of Clan Plagueis. While a majority of his work is behind-the-scenes, it has a very visible, seen benefit and impact on his Clan. And it is my hope to show the value of his work for the month of September.

During the month of July, Yzarc served as the catalyst for Clan Plagueis. Each week he posted a Star Wars News article to the Clan, bringing new information to the forefront that stimulated conversation on the mailer and his IRC channel (#plagueis). Tying into that, he was also responsible for delegating the duty of House mailer maintenance and auditing the Clan mailer himself. Which allowed for him to ensure our Clan, each week, received important updates/reminders for Inter-Club Training Event. Working from an accurate listing, he was also responsible for sending out weekly mentorship e-mails to our many, many Apprentices, Novices and Acolytes - guiding their growth and progression.

While he may not be a consistent report-writing, competition-driving member of the Brotherhood; his work this month far outweighs simple competitions and reports. He is a driving, guiding force for new and old members; calling them to arms and daring them to succeed. Great work for the month!

Since his last elevation, Yzarc has shown the conviction and maturity we expect of role models in our club. His progression as a leader, and a member, has been demonstrated in multiple facets. And we would not be as strong of a club without his efforts.

He collected thirty eight Clusters of Fire, Dark Maven: Service, a Topaz Crescent, ran three competitions, posted several reports and filled the positions of Aedile, Quaestor and Proconsul. But this is but a small taste of what he did for his unit that cannot be tracked via the web site. Each week he combed his House roster for candidates for elevation/reward, audited his e-mail groups, contacted his members and spent countless hours monitoring #scholae (and now #plagueis) to ensure a clean, fun atmosphere for our members. Additionally, he has - since joining Plagueis - been tasked with reviewing our current materials (contact letters, mentorship letters, wiki articles, project drafts, etc) for mistakes and continuity issues. Editing is a thankless job, but one that plays a vital role in the development of our Clan. One such task was the review of the "War of Ascension" (a new major, clan initiative) that will bridge our history from one era into a new one. This included review of the proposal, the battle points, a long fiction (by Ashron) and the forthcoming material that is to be condensed and added to our Clan Wiki.

As a Leader, Zarc provides an interesting element to the mix. He goes beyond weekly reports. He sends out weekly ICTE reminders, weekly Star Wars News and a variety of reminders, and words of encouragement, to his Clan. And he does it beyond our little realm, as well. Recently he recruited Vorn to our Clan and has been immersing him in both our club and the Star Wars universe. This, to me, is the sign of a role model. And I believe he has earned this award for his many months of leadership in both Scholae Palatinae and Plagueis.
