Since his last promotion to Knighthood in September of last year, Aru Law has not rested on his laurels! Being involved in running six comps and participating in a meaty 81(!), he’s earned himself a fine collection of Crescents. A Diamond, Ruby, a pair of Amethysts, seven shiny Sapphires, an Emerald, two Topazes and even an elusive Quartz Crescent all now decorate his trophy rack, alongside 87 Clusters of various flavors. He’s also earned an Anteian Cross and a Steel Cross, which is no wonder as he dominated the previous Vendetta with 25 Seals of Discord as proof of his stellar activity, and brought home a Silver and Bronze Nova, alongside 20 Seals of Visions from GJW XIV!

Not content with kicking ass in competitions, he’s also hit the books and continued to expand his knowledge by completing 42 SA courses and earning a whopping 10 degrees! No matter if you count that in Centigrade or Imaginary, that’s a lot of degrees! As his latest claim, he has taken the position of Aedile of House Qel-Droma, where he has been instrumental in updating our Wiki-pages, left previously forlorn. I cannot state enough how invaluable his work and support on this matter has been and it has truly been, and continues to be, an asset to both House and Clan. He’s really kept me on point as Quaestor, and his work with our reports and accruing our monthly activity data, as well as reaching out to our members to check that everyone is doing well, has been beyond invaluable to me! I could not imagine running the House without him!

The danger of Knighthood is stagnation. With that high honor bestowed upon you, many may feel their journey is complete. But for Aru, he has shown that his own has barely begun. He continues to engage in our activities with high spirits and gusto, remaining a positive influence wherever he goes, and sparing no effort in getting things done for the betterment of our shared experience.

For all these reasons, and more, I am proud and honored to recommend Aru Law be promoted to the ranks of Equites.

Aru Law is truly an outstanding member of Arcona. He is well-liked, enthusiastic and hardworking. His overall activity numbers make apparent his steady level of activity, both in competitions and in the SA.

But that only tells part of the story. He continues to go above and beyond as Aedile, where he assists in planning the overall storyline of the House and assists with data collection. He also was integral during the war, constantly hyping and getting others excited about the events. He goes about all of these duties with enthusiasm and good cheer.

But the aforementioned good cheer is not dedicated strictly to his leadership duties. He is a joy to interact with on Telegram, where he is quick with a nice word or to assist anyone who needs it.

Aru is everything I could ask for in a leader and a member. If I could clone him, I would in an instant. As such, it is my pleasure to lend my voice in support of recommending him to EQ1. Congratulations, Aru! Drinks are on you!

Aru Law is without a doubt one of the most engaged members we have in Arcona. He is always looking to do whatever work needs to be done, and is always pushing himself to be the best Aedile he can be. He is an inspiration to all who one day wish to work as a Summit member or leader.

When discussions on House and Clan projects are beginning, you can bet Aru will jump into the fold headfirst to be a contributing and effective voice. He comes to the table with plenty of solid and enactable ideas, and plans on how to make those ideas work. His enthusiasm is not only infectious, but unmatched by most of the Clan. I am so glad to have him in Arcona as he has only made this Clan livelier and better.

As my apprentices apprentice, Aru has made me incredibly proud. I can always count on him to be an active and fearless member of the Clan. His work during the War was immensely vital to ensure the participation of his House members, and I fully believe that his Hyping of the war greatly helped us in our recent victory. He has more than earned his promotion to the Equites! Congratulations Aru Law!!
