This wave-cut sea cave complex on the planet Selen was used for both Alchemical and Medical research. The main cave completely lacks any walkways and is difficult to traverse due to the slippery algae covered rocks. Ebb and flow have little effect on the water level inside, the cave being protected from bigger waves by a nearby seawall. The sides of the cave are covered in seashells, while crustaceans crawl from the water onto the smooth foundation.
The cave splits into two parts slightly deeper inside. Natural light bouncing from the sea water is the only thing illuminating the cavern once the two openings reveal themselves.
The access to the lower level from the entryway requires submersion underwater and breathing apparatus would be recommended. Along the way various anemones filled with deadly neurotoxin, poisonous sea snails, electrical eels and sharp corals are locked away in crevices. The water filled part of the cave is illuminated by fish emitting crimson and amethyst neon lights.
After a short swim, a large tunneled out square room will present itself. Within the room there are six cages with slowly decaying human corpses inside, all seemingly with an ecstatic look on their face. Oxygen breathing creatures would be able to catch a breath in this room as the water level does not reach the stalactite covered ceiling.
Opposite from the entrance there are two steaming sulfur vents with a large single cellular blob-like organism in the middle. This creature seems to passively radiate Dark Side energy and according to data-entries present in the top level of the cave, has tentacles that absorb any negative recent memories from its 'victims'. This energy gets distributed among the runes on the solid floor that are connected via the creature's twisting veins.
The other hallway on the left side from the main cave entrance leads upwards, via a carved out stairway into an observatory room. Once upstairs the room is open but has an atmospheric biome to stop the elements from entering. During the night moonlight from Boral brightens the room while during the day starlight from Dajorra provides the lighting inside. When clouds obscure the sky, only the crimson glow from the runes on the smooth obsidian stone floor illuminate the octagonal space. Research equipment and computers are placed upon laboratory tables in neat rows, most still actively displaying vast amounts of data and results found within the structure.
